Capítulo 20: Dark Side
I had finished all my chores that I was given for the day, it took me a few hours and by the time I finished I looked at the clock and it was already almost 1 in the afternoon. Hunter has sat around in living room and move the futon so it was no long a coach but a bed. He had laid down and fallen asleep, I don't think he had fallen asleep very easily on the train and I don't think he slept well after he did finally manage to fall asleep. I'm pretty sure he doesn't like sleeping on trains. I walked over to him and sat on the edge of the futon next to him and gently pushed him and whispered "Wake up sleepy head. It's almost 1, it's time to get up."
His eyes shot open and I saw a devilish look in them and smirk come across his face, the look made chills run down my spin. He grabbed me and threw me on the bed and the next thing I knew he was on top of me hold my arms down. I was trapped underneath him, I tried to get loss but the more I struggled the hard he gripped my arms and held them in place and the hard it was for me to move. I tried to speak but I could make a sound come out and the more I moved and tried to talk or yell for help the harder it felt to breath in air. I eventually gave up seeing it failing and I no longer held enough energy to keep struggling and all the while I saw him looking at me, scanning me, I could see a different look in his eyes now. It was like he was missing something and longing for it, but there was a wildness to it, like he enjoyed watching the fear the had come into my eyes and that I was desperately trying to break free from his grip but I wasn't strong enough to. The look in his eyes scared me more now then the one I saw when I first woke him. I just looked at him I realized all I could do is watch and wait to see what he was going to do, I was completely at his mercy.
He brought his face closer to my body. Then close to mine, his lips we almost touching mine, when he softly said "I'm going to kiss you now." With that he brought his lips to my roughly kissing me, although it was rough it was passionate. I could tell from his kiss how much he'd been holding back and stopping himself from acting on what he had clearly wanted, I felt his power flowing through me and in unison with me. I want him but my heart racing was to much, I knew I couldn't control my abilities not with when we were kissing and I felt the energy that drew me to him overwhelming my senses. I also knew I was pinned and I couldn't pull away from him or push him away this time, I could only lay there and hope that he could sense my energy become panicked and that it would be enough for him to stop. I remember while my uncles friend trained me the first time he said "Take a deep breath and focus, everything will be ok. Your abilities will be easy to control if you remain calm and will become more out of control the more out of control your emotions are." He didn't pull away if anything the more panic my entertaining was letting off the deeper his kiss grew. He had told me what he was going to do and honestly I had been longing for him to kiss me again and wanted to feel him against me. The fear that had once been in my eyes wasn't because I was scared of him but because I am scared of myself and what I might do. His energy made me feel safe but flustered my emotions. I need him to move away to let go before I do something I can't fix, before I lose control. Focus Megan push him away, just focus regain control. I kept repeating these words in my head until I felt a gust of wind and he was no longer kissing me. His warmth and energy was ripped away from me. I open my eyes to meet his, he was floating above me, wind forcing him in the air. I could see a look in his eyes of confusion as he dropped on top of me. I had made him stop but I couldn't let him see my eyes glowing because they had to of begun to glow when I used them to get him off me. I hadn't completely lost control I just used them accidentally.
He pushed himself off of me and looked me in the eyes as he said "Megan! What the hell just happened!?" I could obviously tell he was confused.
"I don't know." I said he seemed to believe it from the panic in voice and he could tell I was still fluster, I knew but I wasn't sure exactly how I did it. I continued, "I should be the one asking you that question though!" I tried to sound angry but I really wasn't. He rolled off of me and was now laying next to me.
"Did I do something that you didn't like or that you didn't want?" He was looking at me as I turned my head to face him.
"I'd prefer that I could pull away when I want to. I'm still not completely comfortable with the entire we kiss now thing."
"Well that wasn't kissing, that was making out there's a difference Megs." He grind and laughed. "I also gave you a fair warning this time."
"That's what you call a warning, you we're on top of me and I didn't know what was going on! I hadn't even completely processed how you got on top of me or why I couldn't mov. So how in the world was that a fair warning!?"
"I told you was going to kiss you didn't I?"
"Yes."
"Exactly, I warned you I was about to kiss you and that exactly what I did. I also could of done a lot more but I didn't."
"We both know I'm not ready for more, I'm barely comfortable with kissing."
"I know, and we won't do more for a long time. Especially if you aren't completely comfortable and ready for more." I smiled when he said that and I could hear in his voice he was genuine about what he said.
"Thank you, now next time how about you let me decide when we kiss and how it happens."
"I'll try, just don't take to long. I can't help myself. After all I'm king and when I want something I get it and I normally don't have to wait for it either."
"Well here your not a king, and I am not just something. I'm me and you'll just have to wait for my terms."
"You right Megs, and your worth waiting for." It's like he knows exactly what to say to make me smile. We laid there for a little while next to each other just staring into the each other's eyes as if we could see into the others mind and read their soul.
