Capítulo 33: The War
- The next day.., at the Border of Emperor mountain and Capital city -
They have been waiting for the war to begin...
Marshal Lang and his soldiers should arrive soon based on his informant.
If Damian Shen was a despicable man, he could attack them when they were asleep deep in the wood.
However, that kind of victory was meaningless and worthless for him...
Thus, he wanted to have a fair fight, head to head using strategy and manpower.
Almost an hour ago, he had split his battalions to keep watch of each direction..., leaving no way out for the enemy.
While he had ordered Venusa to go to Shen mansion...
He told her that he needed her there to help protect Leah, but in fact with 100 personal guards..., they didn't lack any protection, but it was the only way to send her out from the way.
Unknown to Damian Shen, Venusa never left him, she concealed herself into one of the soldiers by using one of her male mask from her inventory makeup box. She knew the Shen mansion was well protected, and it was his way to send her away for her safety.
She had climbed the tall tree by the Emperor mountain forest entrance and standing high to scan the surrounding area. At that instant.., she saw them..., hundreds of soldiers marching to their direction...
Instantly, she blew the war horn that she had secured as a necklace, as hard as she could as a signal...
The sound was low but menacing which make one think of the rip-roaring trumpeting sound from an angry elephant to challenge their enemies.
Damian Shen heard the war signal and shout," Shen's soldiers..., get yourself ready now!!"
The enemy soldiers were charging right away by firing multiple shots as a warning of the beginning of the war.
Venusa Shen had run toward Damian by firing guns on both of her hands to the enemy's direction. She had equipped all of their soldiers with body shields, however, their opponent soldiers also protected by body shields.
She had forced Damian to wear the bulletproof vest for his safety; inside his military shield uniform. Also, in order to protect him, she would stay next to him until the war was over.
One by one..., soldiers from both sides were fallen to their horrendous demise...
While scanning around to aim at their enemy army, Venusa sight was landing on the three formidable opponents..., all of them was using a hidden weapon instead of guns, they wore a lookalike black ninja attires and easily they avoid any bullets coming their way and they were going after Damian...
However..., a dog-whistled, only heard by them, stopped their actions.
They ran toward the high pitched sound and found their leader not far away from their location...
"Brother Lone Wolf..., any command for us!!" inquired the three formidable brothers while their eyes met an unusual little kid cold gaze...
"We are changing side..., this is our new master..., Young master Alex Lee! We'll follow his order from now on!! Smiling Wolf..., would our soldiers follow our order?!!"
Smiling Wolf shook his head. "Our soldiers were paid directly by the Emperor. They were our soldiers in name only..., the emperor is their real puppet master!!"
"Time is precious. Young master.., these are my legendary brothers, from left to right..., Smiling Wolf.." The handsome sturdy man only older by a couple of years than him was smiling with charm.
"Strong Wolf..." The bulky man about thirty years old showing his muscles like a heavyweight athlete.
"Fiery Wolf..." The angry younger man snapped, " Why are we still talking?!! Let's go!!"
Alex Lee was giving a straight forward instruction.
And afterward, they joined the fight again..., this time was against the evil Emperor soldiers.
Alex Lee was fighting against time...
He was not interested in joining the close combat.., so he was hiding in a safe area while waiting...
First and foremost..., as a young master.., there would be always people to do the bidding for him...
Thus, he didn't need to dirty his hand or risk himself getting hurt. In addition, he needed to be alive to make sure all his strategy would go as planned...
It would be a different story if he was as big as his daddy...
Wait for a bit... Daddy...Mommy...help is on the way!!
After a while, the legendary wolf had surrounded Marshal Shen like a shield...but leaving room for him to shot his target...
Knowing their intention was to protect him, Venusa asked them with a disguise male voice " Why are you changing side?!!"
Smiling Wolf was the most friendly one than all of his brothers, so he answered, "From now on..., we are under young master Alex Lee..., he wanted us to protect Marshal Shen and his mother..."
Smiling wolf was looking at her impressively...
Not many people could disguise so perfectly with the art of changing voice.
"W-What?!!", her original clear crystal voice had revealed her identity.
Damian Shen had overheard their conversation and right away he peeled out Venusa Shen mask and he roared angrily, " Venusa!!!, how dare you go against my order?!!!"
Her ravishing beauty had stunned the onlookers...
"Marshal Shen..., this war was too dangerous for an outrageous beauty such as her.., let us handled everything here and save your woman first!!", suggested Lone Wolf.
When he was spying at them, he was not able to see her clearly.., now...seeing her unblemished beauty up close.., he was bewitched. No wonder the Marshal was unable to restrain himself that night...
His face flushed unexpectedly at the memory of that night.
"Brother Lone Wolf..., watch out!!"
A bullet almost hit him but Strong Wolf caught the bullet by his mighty fist-grasp and crushed it into powder.
Damian Shen was impressed with the show of skills if they didn't change side..., his army wouldn't have any chance to win the war.
Alex Lee..., my prodigy son..., how on earth you convinced them to betray the evil emperor and served you instead?!
Grabbing the necklace horn on Venusa neck, he blew it differently as a signal..., and immediately one of his captains came to him to receive his order.
"Take over..., the legendary wolf is on our side..., we should win the war soon!!!"
Without waiting anymore, he snuggled Venusa, who had protested to leave the war area with him...
Then he placed her in front of him, horizontally on the horse.., her face and feet were on the air, and he was letting her grappling tightly on his waist.
"Be good and stay low!! We are going to Shen mansion!! Nick Lang was not around.., knowing the tricky emperor..., I am worried about Leah!!"
Venusa nodded in agreement.
Damian Shen was covering her with his body to shield her from any attack or ambush.

Alex Lee had ordered agent 001 to recruit any trusty and loyal hunters and mercenaries all over Capital city, the surrounding small village near the Capital beach and the Sunny mountain.
Unexpectedly, he was able to gather over 100 volunteers in one day. Most of them had a grudge with the evil emperor and was hiding for their life. Now, they could come out in an open to destroy the evil monarch.
Behind the curtain, Alex Lee was watching the show from the tallest tree branch nearby, right after he ordered agent 001 to crush the enemy army without mercy.
With another hundred of people joining the fight,
the enemy army was outnumbered and lost their morale, some have surrendered and asked for mercy but none was given.
It was risky to keep hostage of prisoners of war or even to let them go, and it was no use to recruit soldiers that had betrayed their master. Thus, killing them was the only method that would ensure their unchallenged victory.
