The lady in red smiled throughout the meeting, her face actually lit up and her warmth filled the hall. The blue boy next to her added cool frost where he sat and the pink man on the other side sometimes had little hearts pop by him with baby cupids fly around chirping. The blue bugs also came and sat around a dark woman in a blue sundress. She held hands with the black man who would pick up the horses every now and then.
As the meeting ended, Eclipse walked down to meet the group correctly. He would have rather abandoned the whole thing since he knew the enemy was to be his ally. However, he didn't know where to start. Why was it so hard to approach the Guardians?

As everyone stood to go their own ways, Tragedy felt him. His presence filled her soul, somehow she needed him, wanted him, and knew him. She grabbed Jack and Cupid to steady herself. Patty gave her a dirty look, then all eyes went to the corner of the room, where a very handsome man walked out of the shadows. His tattoos caught Tragedy's eyes, she had never seen a spirit with tattoos that weren't given by moon. Most tattoos made her uncomfortable but his suited him. Her eyes lit up and extreme warmth filled the room. Everyone stood quietly as the confident looking man spoke.
"Hello Guardians," His voice was gruff and came out like lava, "I am Eclipse, the boogeyman."
Tragedy spoke first, "Hello Eclipse, from what I have heard, you are a pretty amazing boogeyman so far." She smiled smoothly even though her heart pounded. How could someone so good looking be real?
Eclipse looked around the room and frowned. Nope. She would not win him over. Not in that outfit, not by complimenting him, and definitely not by meeting his fake confidence with some of her own. He hated her how could he admire the way her round eyes looked up and him like he was a god. "Eh hem," he coughed, "Thank you, I just knew how to inflict the most fear naturally. I was feared when I was alive."
Tragedy smiled more blushing slightly, "I know. I realize that was my fault. You could see me. I didn't know or else I would have talked to you. Usually only people who are dying can see me. I am what some call the angel of death," she frowned but quickly returned her smile, "I am glad you are here. You are the most important spirit until balance can be restored to the world. I hope you are up for being the most evil being in existence to counter the good we have let run rampant."
His frown deepened, how could he hold on to his hate? He needed it. She was just so cute. He hated her more. Then of course he realized that they were not alone and that the other people in the room all stared at the two. He cleared his throat again, "I will try. Um, where should I set up base?" He asked looking at Jack." Please someone else talk to him before he emberases himself more.
"You will go home with Tragedy, she is... Was the assistant to the last boogeyman, Pitch Black," Cupid said sticking his hand out. He wanted so badly to play matchmaker but spirits were outside of his control.
"Wait, just because she helped Pitch doesn't mean that she is required to help the new Boogeyman!" Jack said annoyed. His little sister didn't need to get tied up with another evil being.
Eclipse looked at Jack shocked, why was this Guardian so protective of Tragedy?
"Jack, Jeannie is older than you now, she is no longer your little sister," Cupid said annoyed at Jack messing with the lovers.
Eclipse looked to Tragedy confused, "Jack died at sixteen and I died about ten years later when I turned eighteen. He is my biological older brother. When I watched him die, I made a deal with Pitch, the old boogeyman, to work for him in order to see Jack again. Jack and I reconnected five years ago after Pitch was killed by the Nightmares. Since we were apart for 300 years we have kinda spent a lot of the last five years bonding again. I also live with Bad Dream and Daydream. Bad Dream takes care of the Nightmares," she said pointing to both Daniel and a Nightmare. "Daydream helps people follow their dreams. She and I deal with mostly adults, whereas the Guardians are protectors of childhood. You fall kind of inbetween. You don't have to be evil, just bring out the bad in the world. I will help where I can."
Her smile didn't calm him, he shook his head. He had to live with someone he absolutely hated his whole life. Why did his afterlife start to feel like hell?
Eclipse is kinda hard to write. I want him to be evil and not at the same time. Is this continuation worth it? Do you like it or should I find my happy ending faster?
