Living in a world full of heroes and villain, each possessing superpowers in the form especially powerful quirk is something many would dream of if they aren't living inside one.
The idea of adventure and epic battles are all good and fun, but are you sure you want to live in world where you have to fear that your district gets blown up because some piece of shit hero had to use his ultimate attack.
Anyway, this story is about a little girl by the name of Sunpo Shoka, she had a car accident at the age of three which killed both her parents and heavily injured her.
She survived the accident with a heave concussion but lost both her eyes because of the raining glass splinters of the broken windows of the car.
With no living relatives left its was arranged for her to enter an orphanage once she fully recovered from the accident.
A week after her full, physical, recovery she awakened her quirk.
With it she can connect and feel nearby plants while also allowing her to grow small plants on her body.
That is what the doctors found out.
For some odd reason Shoka had a strong desire to keep the most crucial details about her quirk a secret.
Time flies by and Shoka turn ten years old. Over the years she has recovered fully from her injuries, but there were also some strange changes to her.
Shoka originally had black hair, even after she awoke her quirk, but over the years they slowly turned green.
Something similar happened to her skin, her once white, light rose colored skin turned into a warm brown, slightly reminding one of wood.
But in a world where there are daily villain attacks and lots of weird quirks just walking on the streets, Shoka´s little change didn't garn any particular interest.
After the overseer of the orphanage made sure that she was okay they left her in peace.
´Roughly five years, that is how long it took form me to finish my first metamorphosis. ´ Little Shoka thinks as she lies in the grass of the park.
One of the things she didn't reveal to the doctor about her quirk is that it is slowly but constantly changing her body, replacing parts of her human body with those of a plant.
Her hair and skin are two examples, her hair is not just green for show, no, each and every of her hairs is filled with chloroplast giving her the abilities to use photosynthesis to sustain herself by solely relying on water and the sun.
As for her skin, it has turned into something similar to the bark of a tree, it grants her some measures of defense, but it still isn't something that can stop someone from piercing her with a knife.
Shoka defines the two transformations as the first metamorphosis because they happened simultaneously

´Plants are beautiful, their numerous colors and properties fascinate me to no end. I had this deep fascination from the moment I came to this world. It is strange if I think about it now.
How could I be fascinated by something I have never seen or heard? No matter how hard I think about it I can't come up with a logical explanation, the deep desire to interact and understand the existence of plants was just always there. ´
A green haired girl with brown skin thinks while carefully stroking the leaves of a flower with her fingers.
´Maybe it was my quirk which influenced me from the moment I was born, molding my mindset to be as compatible as possible. ´
The thought made her frown a bit.
´This would mean that my quirk has a consciousness or at least some basic instincts which can act on their own. ´
The frown makes place to an inquisitive expression as her mind went off track theorizing about possible ways to apply this instinctive response of her quirk.
She continues to sit next to the flowers in the park for almost three hours before she got brough out of her thoughts by the presence of another kid.
Focusing her bright green eyes on the form of a young, barely seven years old girl the green haired girl asks.
"What is it, Keko?"
"Big sis Narumi, weren't you supposed to look out for us?" The girl named Keko asks with a questioning tone.
´Ah! Right, I was supposed to take care of the kids. ´ The green haired girl now identified as Narumi jumps up from her position and looks around with a flustered expression.
´Shit, I got lost in my thoughts again, damn this calming feeling I get when I'm surrounded by plants. ´Grinding her teeth's together in annoyance Narumi which was around eleven years old scans her surroundings in search of the other kids which life in the same orphanage as her.
She is one of the older kids in the orphanage, so it was her responsibility to make sure that the others stay safe when in the park.
Her green eyes immediately find two other kids excluding Keko who stood beside her shaking her head with disappointment at her older sisters lack of sense for responsibility.
´Well that's three from eight, time to find the other five. ´ Narumi skillfully ignores Keko and instead closes her eyes and becomes completely still.
Using her quirks ability to connect to surrounding plants in an area of 500 m she immediately pinpoints the location of all living beings within.
"There you are." She says, causing Keko to tilt her head in confusion as she was unable to see any of the other children.
Before she could ask Narumi what she meant, a hand pats her light brown hair and Narumi spoke up.
"I go bringing the others back, can you make sure to keep these two here?" Narumi asks Keko who looks her in the eyes.
With a light "Hrmpf" Keko confirms making Narumi smile at the little girls cute reaction.
"Good, now off I go." Without further ado Narumi sprints off into he park homing in on the location of a group of three individuals
