The old man deflected a ray of pressurized water shot from the Second Hokage's mouth by creating an earthen wall.
"What can you tell us about that woman, Saru? Never thought I would say that about an Uchiha, but her confidence and temper resembled my Mito-chan."
Sarutobi laughed out, dodging a wood dragon, "Kana-chan spent a lot of time being taught seal mastery by Mito-sama's clansmen, Kushina Uzumaki. She was Kana-chan's role model, a big part of Kana-chan's sense of humor came from Kushina-chan."
"Muhaha! An Uzumaki educated an Uchiha? The world got much more colorful than in the past!" The First Hokage roared with laughter but seeing a sad grimace on the old man's face, he noticed the tense that was used, "Was? What happened, Saru?"
"... Almost ten years after you died Tobirama-sensei, Uzushiogakure was raized. They were attacked by three shinobi villages, Iwa, Kumo, and Mizu. I received the message too late. I couldn't do anything before our borders were under siege. Yes, another very bloody war broke out. Few surviving Uzumaki clan members dispersed around the Elemental Nations. Their numbers fell drastically - from all I know, their progeny can be counted on a hand."
A rage-induced small lapse of control was enough for Hashirama's hands to automatically initiate a powerful jutsu. "Ah, Shit! Everyone, dodge!" The building they stood upon exploded as a massive tree grew from inside of it. Aff four Otogakure jōnins lost their footing, allowing the violet fire-barrier to dissipate.
"... Hold back a little, would you, Hashirama?!" Tobirama complained as the lower part of his body slowly regenerated after being impaled by a branch.
"Fufufu! That's more like it!" Orochimaru chuckled at the show of power.
"Stop laughing, you son of a bitch! <Rasengan>!" Jiraya plummeted at the Snake Sannin from above.
Orochimaru dodged the blue ball of condensed chakra, his neck extended and bound his rival's body. Trying to inject more venom into Toad Sannin's veins, his fangs cut through the man's neck. Jiraya's clone puffed out of existence, filling his opponent's mouth with an oily substance.
"Why won't you just die already, asshole?!"
"You would miss me, bastard! <Katon: Hōsenka no Jutsu> [Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Fire Technique]!"
"Saru, are you alright?"
"Yes, Sensei." Hiruzen jumped on the thickest branch, holding a high ground over his two predecessors.
"Oups... I'm sorry about that." Hashirama scratched the back of his head, "Those are some... grave news you gave us. What about this Kushina Uzumaki you talked about?"
"I regret that I wasn't able to save her." The third Hokage turned his head sideways, "There was, let's call it, an incident, Kushi-chan was Minato-kun's wife, they both died protecting their newborn son."
"... And the boy, Saru? Ugh, look out, another jutsu incoming!" Tobirama's hands started moving without his control.
The elderly jumped above the enormous water twister coming from his teacher. "Alive and well. Kana-chan adopted him."
"Hahaha! I'm starting to like her! Do you want Kaname to take The office?" The brash Hokage exploded in laughter.
"Hashirama?! Are you mad? She is an Uchiha... and a woman!" His white-haired brother called out.
"So what? You always had an unhealthy fixation on the Uchihas, Tobirama."
"*Cough*" Sarutobi interrupted their brotherly spat, "Yes, I prepared Kana-chan for this. Unfortunately, she understood what it means to become a Hokage a tad bit too much. I'm sure that the next time I offer her the position, she will force the hat down my throat."
"Muhahaha! Paperwork, the bane of all Kages!"
"I'm still against that! That woman is too bloodthirsty to become a Hokage!" Tobirama growled out.
"If you mean her words to Orochimaru-kun. She had a reason to be enraged at him. He killed Kana-chan's childhood friend, blinded another one, her students were taken captive, just to pull Kana-chan into a trap. The two clashed time and time again, Sensei."
The First Hokage nodded his head, "Yep, it's decided! Let's make Kaname take the mantle."
"Over my dead body, Hashirama!"
The combat halted for a moment. "Huh? Was that a joke? You never joked while you were alive, Tobirama. Did something change after I passed away?"
"Ugh, you know what I meant..."
----
"Baki-sama!" A wounded jōnin barged into the command tent, "We're finished! It's the end!"
"Calm down! What's happening out there? Half of Konoha should be in our hands minutes ago!" The commander of Sunagakure forces called out.
"The-They stopped us, She and Ye-ye-"
"Calm the fuck down! I need to know what's going on. By her, I can guess that Kaname Uchiha did show up. She shouldn't be much of a problem - there were plans laid to deal with her."
"No! It's, she-" the shinobi trembled in rapidly growing PTSD, "Red Flash and Yellow Flash, together! Blood everywhere!"
"Wait! The Yellow Flash? Are you sure that you saw That Yondaime Hokage? It's impossible - he died a decade ago. Kaname must have caught you in a genjutsu of some sort. ANBU, take him aw-" Two masked ninjas flickered behind the madman.
"No! No genjutsu! Two of them, Hiraishin!" The broken man mumbled.
"Even if you saw anyone using the long lost legendary Hiraishin, you wouldn't..." Baki's eyes widened in comprehension mixed with fear, "I need a yes or no answer. Did Kaname Uchiha or this Fourth Hokage ripoff touch any part of your body?"
"Y-Yes, but I got away fro-"
"Get away from him!" The commander jumped away as if his subordinate was a plague-bearer. When ANBU cleared the tent, Baki shot out a bullet of fire. "No!" he screamed when his eyes noticed a flash of red flames next to the insane ninja, and a colorless ripple in space stopped his attack.
"That's not the way to treat your subjects, Baki-san," Kaname laughed out, causing the man next to her to cry in fear.
"No! Hiraishin was lost in time, you couldn't..."
"Sucks to be you. You know what will happen now." Her words made Baki and ANBU positioned around the command tent prepare for combat, "I want to give you a chance."
"Huh?"
"You will order a full retreat of Sunagakure forces. I will not chase after you."
"But... Why would you spare us?"
"The alliance between our villages was broken the moment of your betrayal, but you will need all forces to protect your village. Turbulent times are coming for your little family of sand lovers."
"I do not understand?"
"Haah... How do you think someone as self-centered as Rasa was impersonated by Orochimaru?"
"... That slithering son of a bitch! ANBU, send the message for the full retreat, we lost. Kaname-san, what are you going to do with Otogakure?"
She smirked in reply. A flash of yellow light to her right made everyone gasp.
A white, fluttering coat with red letters allowed Baki to identify the blonde as the Fourth Hokage.
"We will put dread in all of Konoha enemies, Baki-san." Kaname chuckled, "Minato-san, how is the southern front?"
"All dealt with, Kana-chan. There will be a lot of cleaning up to do later. What about Suna?"
"Hello, Yondaime Hokage-sama. My name is Baki, I command the Sunagakure forces. I see I made the right decision in declaring our defeat."
"Yep, you did, Baki-san. As you can see, I won the bet Minato-san, the western front is clear without too many casualties."
"Good, there were too many deaths today already." The two flickered away towards the western gate, "*Sigh* I didn't have a choice, Kana-chan. I do not know what Orochimaru-san did to them, but his ninjas are almost like raging, deformed animals. All I could do was to put them down."
"Ah, that's his cursed seal in action, Minato-san. It multiplies a person's strength but reduces mental capabilities. It works much better on shinobis - you most likely fought against some enhanced bandits, as the ninjas sustain their minds."
"That's monstrous..."
"I know. Can you finish the fight here? I will go back to help Jiji."
"Orochimaru-san's three-headed hydra summon and some of his shinobi? Okay, be careful out there, Kana-chan. He is not someone to be underestimated."
"Thanks, Minato-san."
----
'I can't see a thing!' Sarutobi was caught in a genjutsu blocking his sight. Thinking quickly, he decided to finish the fight at this exact moment. "Jiraya-kun, bring Orochimaru closer to me, it's time to end this once and for all!" he called out in his gruff voice. Two shadow clones appeared next to him.
"Those handseals?! Saru, are you going to-?"
"I'm sorry, Sensei. I have to do it."
"Hahaha, you old fool, I won already. It doesn't matter if Kaname knows how to teleport around if I have undefeatable pawns. You're nothing, just, for a short time, one of the leaders in the history of this village. Even the remains of the rock portrait will eventually crumble! I'm immortal - my name will be known by hundreds of generations!" Orochimaru laughed out, dodging Jiraya's strikes.
The Third Hokage was grazed by a kunai thrown by white-haired Hokage, "Heh, Konoha isn't just a village, Orochimaru-kun." he smiled, "Every year there are a lot of shinobis born and raised here. They live, fight, and protect what's most precious to them. Even if we're not related by blood. Those people are my precious and important family. If I die, there will be a new Hokage that will continue my work! <Shiki-" Sarutobi felt someone's palm delicately stopping his hand-seals. An injection of warm chakra dispelled the blinding genjutsu. He noticed Kaname's face smiling kindly back at him.
"Good job, Jiji. I came here to finish this."
"Hah?" the old man looked above her arm only to notice his two predecessors in a circle of death and regeneration. His teacher was drowning in a bubble of water. The First Hokage was receiving torture by being continually impaled with tree-spears.
"I'm sorry about that. I will deal with the two later."
"It's okay! We do not feel pain, save our village, girl!" Hashirama called out.
Her Sharingan turned to Orochimaru. "Time's up, Worm... Your forces are eradicated. You lost your allies. Now, I will make sure I destroy everything you own."
Admittedly, he felt goosebumps travel through his body, "Huhu, I don't think so. I have the life of one of the kids you value, and I may have put a nasty curse on his neck. I'm the only one that can erase it." Orochimaru smirked.
"Not my first time dealing with your cursed seal, Worm."
"Not this one. This is my life's work, Kana-chan. Sasuke-kun will soon travel to find me himself. You won't be able to do anything to stop the boy. And if he won't, well, I can remotely activate the seal, it will torture his mind ultimately he will try to find me, huhuhu."
"We will see about..." Kaname's body combusted, "...that." She instantly appeared back in front of Orochimaru.
The Snake Sannin expected the teleportation. A blade shot out from his mouth, aiming for Kaname's head.
She blocked the sword with her left forearm protector by pushing it above her head. Deflecting Orochimaru's weapon, Kaname's continued the rotation, directing her right elbow at his cheek.
He noticed that was a new fighting style, one that almost pulled him into Kaname's rhythm. His pale yellow eyes opened in fright when just a moment before Kaname's hit reached him, the tip of her elbow developed a finger-nail-sized red Rasengan. Orochimaru's heard his jaw crack, the world whirled in front of his eyes, the back of his head hit something hard, blackening his mind for a moment.
Jiraya watched as his rival's body got shot out, spinning around like in a hurricane. Unfortunately for Orochimaru, a roof placed metal water tower found it's spot on the trajectory of his flight. Once the white-faced Sannin's head hit the metal structure with a low, dull sound, he started spinning in reverse. Orochimaru's fell in some closeby alley. "Daaamn... That must have hurt..."
"It's still not enough to deal with him. I hope you had enough fun, Jiraiya-san? The next time you meet the Snake, he will be a beggar."
"*Sigh* Yeah... I will try to find a way to break the seal Orochimaru used to control the Hokages, be careful out there."
Kaname nodded her head, teleporting away.
"Disgusting..." she whispered to herself. Glancing down, she watched Orochimaru spewing out another body. It looked like a snake dropping his skin. A perfectly healthy Snake Sannin stood back up on his feet and smiled at her.
She jumped down towards him, "If you expect that I won't touch you because you're so slimy, then yeah, it's working."
"Fufufu. No, I just wanted to compliment you. The power behind your strike was truly Tsunade's worthy. It's not dangerous for someone like me, but it's good to know how you developed."
"Hahaha! You moron, you don't even understand why I did strike you with Rasengan instead of a sword?" She pulled her sword from the scabbard on her back. She held her katana above her head in a defensive position with both of her hands.
"No, but I'm sure you will tell me." Orochimaru chuckled, pulling his own sword from his mouth and adopting an identical sword stance, "Let's see if the student surpassed her master."
Kaname snorted, launching herself towards her opponent. They exchanged quick consecutive attacks - the alley was filled with sounds of metal clashing against metal. She hastily had Orochimaru on the back foot, slowly gaining ground.
"Good, just like I taught you. Powerful, vicious strikes aimed at your opponent's vitals." Orochimaru chuckled.
"Did you taught me this?" When their weapons clashed, a red chakra traveled through Kaname's arms and converged on her blade.
"Ugh?!" By catching his own weapon almost at the tip, he barely stopped her sword from decapitating his head. Noting Kaname's knee aimed at his family jewels and a forming Rasengan above it, he ducked under her weapon and jumped further away.
"Huhuhu. That's... something even I wouldn't want to have to regenerate, Kana-chan."
"There is no cheating between two clashing shinobis, is there? Ready for round two, Worm?"
"With you? Always," he replied, taking on a defensive stance.
"Good." Her body was enveloped in growing white bones shrouded in crimson chakra flames. The upper half body of the giant skeleton held a massive sword.
Orochimaru's mind suspended for a moment, "... If you want to, you can try and catch me." he started to flee towards the north. After he took three jumps away, he did not expect Kaname to teleport right next to him. The Sannin bend his head sideways, then felt a stinging pain coming from the side of his face and warm liquid dripping down his neck. Kaname kicked him away, making one ear shorter Snake Sannin crash through the nearby building's wall.
"Ugh, how?..." He woke up a second later with a migraine, "The Rasengan you used before?!" The sadistic smile on her face was a decisive answer for him. "No! I will kill you today!" He spat a wave of venomous snakes and started to run further north.
"Haha, it won't work." Kaname's hand movement was mirrored by her Susanoo. With a single slash, hundreds of vipers were rendered asunder. "Let your nightmare begin," she growled out, as flames combusted around her body.
"<Kuchiyose no Jutsu>!" from a huge cloud of smoke came a purple snake, Orochimaru's boss summon. It's enormous body crushed the Konoha's buildings under its weight.
"Orochimaru? You were to call me only if you prepared a generous sacrifice, do you want to die?" Manda hissed at his summoner.
"Huhuhu, I did, Manda. You can kill every person you see in this village, be it an adult or a child." He chuckled.
"As usual, you just want to use me as your diversion, don't take me for a fool, Orochimaru."
Kaname teleported behind Orochimaru's face and swiped at his neck with her katana. To her astonishment, he blocked the attack, "Byakugan. Did you forget?" The Sannin's hands moved unnaturally behind his back, attacking Kaname's vital areas with deadly accuracy.
She teleported once again and struck the top of his head. Their weapons clashed against each other.
Kaname repeated that form of attack time and time again. She pulled him into a weird guessing game of where the next strike comes from. "<Third Gate: Open>!" Their next clash overpowered her opponent, sending him flying like a ball. Orochimaru's prone body landed on Ninja's Academy roof.
Walking on top of an overgrown viper, Kaname put her head in front of the huge greenish eye and waved her hand at the snake. "*Hiss* Who are-?" Manda made a mistake looking straight into Kaname's red eyes. The boss summon's body fell asleep instantly and fallen on the ground.
With one problem out of her mind, she jumped on top of the Academy's roof.
"This should be tiring for you, Worm." Kaname pointed at the second leftover skin.
"Huhuhu. It doesn't matter. I got to where I wanted to be! Begin!" Both of them faceplanted the rooftop.
She felt her bones and muscles scream in pain as a pressure of an unknown source crushed her body, pressing it onto the cold tiles. Trying to teleport away, she noticed all her chakra pathways going completely haywire, preventing her from using any techniques. From the corner of her eye, she recognized one of her students wearing very distinct clothes.
"Hello, Kaname-sensei." Fū Yamanaka greeted her.
"Uuh..." She groaned in reply. The orange-haired Yamanaka wore Danzō's clothes - he had a white shirt, with a dark grey robe over the top of it covering his feet, to just over his right shoulder.
"Danzō-sama prepared this trap just for you, Sensei. We the leftovers of Root are here to deal the ultimate punishment to you for the destruction of Konoha's future." Fighting the pressure to move her eyeball, she noticed the feet of several Root leftover agents encircling the rooftop.
"After you removed my hand, I understood that you're not my real teacher. No teacher should do that to her student. Knowing you would like to go out with a bang, I prepared a special plan." Her eye was blinded by a red ray of light coming from the top of Hokage's Mountain, then the red light changed into a small flash of a yellow explosion.
----
"What do you mean you need to go? We have a lot of bodies to collect, Utakata."
"I feel that something is wrong, Asuma. I must find Kana-chan - she is in danger."
"Muhahaha! That's what youthfulness is all about! Go, protect her!"
Utakata thanked Guy with a slight nod, "Be right back."
Looking for Kaname around Konoha would take a lot of time, luckily Utakata noticed an enormous purple snake with two ninjas fighting on top of its head. His bad premonition only got stronger with time. He quickly flickered to the north, following after his girlfriend, "Is it just me, Saiken?"
"Yes, I don't know why you feel those emotions. But you humans are weird in that sense, get to her as fast as possible, partner."
"On it!"
It took him half a minute of mad flickering to travel all the way through Konoha, a feat that even Guy wouldn't mind sharing. Then he noticed a sight that froze the blood in his veins. Kaname and Orochimaru laid on the rooftop encircled by a group of dark clothed, masked individuals. Then her hip exploded in a gruesome show of blood and bones. The impact sent her flying over the roof.
He felt a pang of guilt and rage that clouded his mind, he heard Saiken shouting at him, but Utakata couldn't understand his companion. Before he understood what's happening, his mouth let out a low animalistic growl, and then he knew no more.
----
"Did you felt that too, Izumi-chan?"
"Yes, something bad happened. Oh no! Look there, Koji!" Izumi pointed at the Hokage's Mountain and Six-Tailed light blue snail obliterating the surroundings.
"It's Saiken and Utakata? Kaname-sensei must have been-." Koji's eyes were blinded by a flash of yellow light.
"Which one is the medic here?" Minato called out.
"I'm sorry, Yondaime-sama. I'm a medic, Kaname-sensei must have been hurt, nor Saiken or Utakata would attack the village, can you take me there?"
"That's why I came here. But be careful. A raging Bijū is extremely dangerous." he caught Izumi's hand and teleported away.
----
"What the fuck? How could the aimbot miss the shot? I can't aim at her now, and this fucking slime is destroying everything! It's all because of those fucking seals! Gravity distortion my arse! Just kill the bitch and be done with her once and for all! But noo, let's make a show out of it!... Mother fuckers. Hmm, now that the canon went all to shit, Naruto is useless. Hehe, who needs such an idiot for their main character if they have me..." He stood up from the sniper spot and glanced around, looking for a sand raccoon. After several seconds he noticed the second mountain-sized animal wreaking havoc outside of Konoha's walls.
