To everyone's surprise, Ace wasn't infuriated by the youth who had disagreed with him. Instead, he was waiting for an answer patiently.
"Would you explain the reason for your stand?"
The youth hesitated for a moment before explaining his backstory.
"Back in the past, I fell in love with another woman. I gave her most of the cultivation resources she needed, but when her cultivation surpassed me because of the assistance I provided her, she left me without turning back."
"I devoted myself to cultivation since then having lost my truth in love, my cultivation soared tremendously, and in just a few months, I surpassed that woman, since then, my cultivation speed only increased."
Everyone gave this youth a moment of silence, giving him a thumbs up for the courage he had to forget about the woman he once loved, to devote himself to cultivation.
"That is what you're saying right now, but the only reason you are who you are today is because of that woman, who you despise now. You know that she left you, but have you attempted to find the reason? Or are you just going to assume that she was making use of you the entire time?"
The youth's body shook in agitation when he heard Ace's words, his head lowered, with his fists clenched at the side of his body. In the end, he gave in, "I understand, please open the doors of the Nirvana Sect and wait for me. I'll make sure to prove my worth."
The next moment, spirit energy gathered around this youth who was already in the Martial Lord first realm. This youth was making a breakthrough to the Martial Lord second realm, taking this step forward before Grace and the other demon level geniuses were able to, not to mention that this was a perfect breakthrough which would only strengthen his cultivation heart.
By the time the youth ended his breakthrough, about two hours had already passed.
Everyone waited for him patiently while he was making a breakthrough. Some were consulting Ace for cultivation advice. Some, on the other hand, was occupied with their cultivation process.
Grace asked many questions regarding her cultivation progress and how she should appreciate her sword, which has accompanied her for a long time in battles.
Striving to improve herself just like the rumors about her everyone has heard of, a diligent female paladin who would never allow herself to be judged by others just because of her gender.
There were also a few more potential geniuses who were cultivating silently, unwilling to garner too much attention to themselves as they found a corner for themselves.
Ace approached them instead and advised on their cultivation and how they should take should spend more time strengthening their foundation over chasing their seniors' cultivation base.
Their cultivation base might only be in the early stage Great Martial Master, not to mention that they were the only ones from a Sheep Tier cultivation force here. But at least they were determined to seize every chance to improve themselves.
Ace understood that even if there are countless geniuses in this world, most of them either fall to their rivals or enemies before reaching their peak or go unnoticed by others who could have guided them onto the correct path.
"The few of you should spend more time strengthening your foundation before your cultivation reaches a higher realm." Ace advised as he approached them silently.
The others were cultivating in deep focus right now, Ace causing a minor commotion might distract them even if it's unintentional.
"But, Sect Master Ace, if our cultivation base still fails to make another breakthrough by the time we leave this dimension, our seniors would leave us in the dust. They would be in the Martial Spirit realm by the time these three months are up."
One of the disciples explained patiently without being provoked because Ace was younger than him.
"I understand the reason for your concern, but have you thought about it from another perspective? If you continue to force yourself to make another cultivation breakthrough, not only would you limit your future, your strength would be weaker, and your cultivation speed will only decrease."
"But, how are we going to explain to our seniors and elders? They have instructed us that it's of paramount importance for us to improve by the time we leave this dimension. "
Ace sighed as he cautioned himself to be careful with his choice of words in the future.
"An improvement can be made in various ways even if one isn't able to see it on the surface, for example, if all of you here are willing to spend some time strengthening your foundation, it wouldn't be a surprise if your strength improves by a notch. At the same time, you'll be progressing towards the next cultivation realm."
"Sect Master Ace, I get your point now. Thank you for the advice. My name is Link from the Sheep Tier cultivation force, Maze. If the time comes one day, please allow me to repay this favor today." Link bowed down and said with due respect from his heart.
"I hope you remember your words today. At least you've managed to show me that loyalty lies deep within your heart, or you would have left Maze, which has groomed you to who you're today."
"Thank you for the commend, Sect Master Ace. I have my reasons for striving to improve, and one reason is to lead the Maze in the future. The next time you hear of Maze, it'll be the time our tactics can be applied in battle if my theory proves true."
"You have a dream?"
Ace asked the youth, slightly younger than him.
"Yes, my dream is to lead Maze in the future." The youth said ambitiously with passion and seriousness in his eyes.
"Keep up the good work." Ace patted Link on the shoulder to motivate him before he gathered the others.
Just like this, a few days passed in the blink of an eye as Ace.
During this time, he would plan out the next step to take.
There was a system mission he received, which requested him to guide everyone in improving themselves for this month, to add on, this mission would be graded by the system as well.
There were five different grades for the mission. The better he performed, according to the system's estimation, the better the promised rewards.
With the final stroke of the brush he was holding, Ace finally finished his plan, which had taken him three entire days to complete.
The next moment, he could sense accomplishment feeling his heart as the sudden realization made him enlighten something, which would help him in cultivation.
Helping others was beneficial to himself, and the cultivation world approved of this.
Even though he was far from making a breakthrough, he could sense that his cultivation had increased slightly, pushing him to the middle stage of the Martial Lord's first realm.
The improvement was negligible, but every single improvement he made now was what counted.
"Now then, time to begin my plans."
