Capítulo 4: 04.Calm divorce...or?

''Yes?'' Manly voice could be heard. ''Is something?''

Emma realized that he actually spoke to her always in such short sentences, but she was a fool that trusted him not realizing his real attitude.

In her eyes, he was one of the people who just didn't speak much, but now after all what happened, the view of him changed completely.

Her voice wavered. ''When will you come home? Aisa want to see you before undergoing a new set of medications. This time we will be gone for three months. Can't you come home and see her once before we leave.''

The silence prevailed on the other side as he sighed. ''I will come tomorrow and stay for one day. After that, I won't be able to get off the work for a while anyway.''

He didn't even say goodbye to her as the line broke off and just the sound of the empty dial could be heard.

Aisa stood behind motehr that slowly put the phone back to the set and shook her head. That father of hers has no real idea of what he is loosing. And about her own case... She laughed silently, he lost her heart a long time ago. Few moths before she heard him and that woman talk in the other room about the poison they gave to her.

Now she is healthy again and won't let him harm herself or mother again. She definitely needs to protect this silly and kind mother of hers.

The next day he arrived. Her father Nimrod Kalli. With tall stature, bright shoulders, thin waist and quite a nice body and style stood there and stared at the two females on the other side of the table.

''You want what?'' He was quite stunned.

''I realized awhile ago that I have absolutely no feelings towards you. Of course, as the guilty party, I was thinking to give you half of my assets, the house and the cars. The other half I need for her cure. Please understand.'' She knew that about this time he should have found out that the woman is pregnant as well.

He couldn't get angry at her or call her any names as she never left the house and never invited anyone in. Getting all this stuff was teh best solution for them all. That woman earned quite a lot of money on her own and just house is worth all the money that was left.

He looked at the paperwork on the table and nodded. ''How fast do you want this to be done?''

he knew few judges and lawyers so he could pull this divorce in a week's time.

''As fast as possible. I plan to leave anyway soon. She needs the treatments in the other country and we might not come back for many months. I hope you could spend some time with her.'' Emma just signed the papers and stood up taking her bag.

On the door, she turned around seeing the two people just staring at each other.

She sat on her old Mustang she had since school days and went to the store to buy ice cream and snacks... Two of them planned a movie night. Finally, Aisa can eat normal food and can enjoy happiness like all other children.

From tomorrow on they planned to travel for a week and then their preparations will start for the ultimate apocalypse.

When she came back he was already long gone and Aisa sat in front of the huge tv searching for a movie channel. ''Uh. He is already gone?''

Aisa scoffed while looking at her. ''Mother, he just waited that you leave the house and happily picked his clothes in a big bag. He told me to tell you to prepare to leave the house after the divorce is over.''

Those words made her little heart burst in rage. Her face turned red as her eyes sparkled dangerously.

''Oh. It seems he is very eager to enter this home with his new family. I said that I will leave the house to him. I never said I will leave everything in the house to him.''

When Aisa heard those words she started laughing. ''Mom you are quite cute when you are angry. To bad father is so blind and likes more fake stuff than the real thing.''

Emma puffed her cheeks and ruffled Aisa's hair. ''What real, what fake. Those words mean nothing. He lost both of us, but we lost the burden on our back. Now we can be free.''

Suddenly she heard a handphone ringing. She saw his id and turned the speaker on. After all, she has absolutely nothing to hide from this child. ''Yes?''

''I heard you found a way to earn more money. If you can use half of the money you are about to give me and invest in my name.'' He spoke as she owned him a favor.

''Sorry. I can't do that in this period of time. After I come back from the trip with Aisa we can talk. Until then the divorce will pass as well and we can sit down and speak calmly.'' She spoke in a normal tone while smiling at Aisa deviously.

''Oh. Then I will try to handle divorce in one week. You will be back by then?'' He wanted to make sure he doesn't lose a chance to earn more money. He clearly knew how capable she is in earning money so he definitely needed to invest.

Somehow he felt a bit reluctant to let her go. After all, more than ten years they were together. Even if he didn't love her he was her husband and got used to her calmness.

But small hand pressed his bare chest and two green eyes stared at him dangerously.

''Don't even dare thinking about that damnable woman. I had to wait for you this long. I deserve your full attention now.''

She was right. All this time she waited for him patiently. He took that little bit of care for Emma out his heart and pressed the beautiful woman under himself into one more round of pleasure...
