"Yuki! No! You do not understand that Rock Lizards are not our opponents! We can not fight them!" Michi had tears in her eyes. She also did not wish to abandon the home that Yuki loved so much. But she also did not want Yuki to get hurt or worse die. She knew more than anyone that Rock Lizards were not to be messed with.
"But! But!" Yuki was feeling helpless. She hated how she could not protect anything she cared about. Her mom… Suzu… The two people in her life that were like her sun, she could not protect either. The home her mother worked so hard to keep disappeared as well. Now, this… Tears streamed down her cheeks as she turned and buried her head into Michi's chest and began crying.
*Roar!*
Off in the distance, a loud roar shook the air. Yuki and Michi turned to look at where it was coming from and for the first time Yuki felt what it was like to be so scared that you would pee yourself when she felt her panties get wet. "What is that a Dragon!?" They were huge. The lizard like monsters heading right for them were taller than the trees.
"Those are rock lizards! Yuki, we need to leave!" Michi scooped Yuki up into a princess carry and sped off towards the forest that was to their northeast.
Yuki watched as her house got smaller and smaller. Michi's running speed was very fast. But Yuki had no time or the frame of mind to watch as things just sped by. Her eyes were locked on the house she had built. But her eyes began to widen when she saw how fast the rock lizards were. If they had not left when they did, they would have been too late to leave. The rock lizards stormed across the land and in one fell swoop, Yuki watched in horror as her stone house was gulped down by the gigantic jaws of the rock lizard in the lead. One bite was all it took.
Seeing how her house was now officially gone, Yuki buried her head into Michi's neck. She did not care where she was going. She wondered if her life was always going to be full of losses. She hated it more than anything in the world to feel so powerless. She hugged Michi tight, the only warmth and light she had left. As her mind spun in circles, she decided. She would grow stronger than anyone! This way no matter what came her way, she would not lose anything anymore. "Michi, I want to be strong..."
"Mmm… Michi wants to get strong with Yuki. Yuki let's both get stronger together." Michi said happily.
"Mmm… Michi, as long as I am with you I can do it. But if I were to be alone again... I feel like I would break. I hate being alone more than anything. When I had to spend those few days alone, I did not like it one bit. So when Michi showed up at my front door, I was nervous at first because I did not know who you were but Michi turned out to be kind and I was able to befriend Michi. This made me feel happy. Thank you for choosing to stay with me Michi." Yuki snuggled into Michi's neck. Her eyes slowly closed as she slowly drifted off to sleep.
Mich looked down at Yuki's sleeping face and smiled warmly. "Michi will never leave, Yuki, Yuki belongs to me after all, and I belong to Yuki and this is how it has been since long ago… Maybe one day you will remember."
Michi's words were soft, so even if Yuki was awake she may not have even heard it. If she did hear it, she would have noticed Michi's way of speaking had changed slightly at the end. Michi leaned her head down and kissed Yuki's lips. "Mmm… As soft and sweet as always… If I had my original strength you wouldn't have to suffer right now Yuki… I'm sorry..."
A little while later Yuki woke up. And found herself still in Michi's arms making her blush. "Sorry Michi..."
"Yuki, okay now?" Michi asked, slowing her pace to a stop and gently setting Yuki down.
"Mm… Thank you for stopping me. I realize I know nothing about this place. Michi if I ever become a burden to you just leave me and go. I know I am weak right now. And maybe one day I can get my level high enough to laugh at something like a rock lizard but now I am nothing but a newborn chick that had just hatched from her egg." Yuki was feeling down from losing her house and her own weaknesses.
"Michi will never leave Yuki behind!" Michi hugged Yuki and licked her lips, doing what she could to comfort Yuki.
"Hehe, Michi stop..." Yuki finally smiled ever so slightly as she pushed Michi's head away. That was when she felt that her thighs were all sticky and remembered how she peed herself yet again at the age of 16. "Michi, I need to change, can you watch out for me?"
"Mmm!" Michi followed Yuki behind a large tree and stood in front of her looking left and right while sniffing the air to make sure no one was around.
Yuki used water magic to clean herself and then changed her skirt and panties. Once she was done she took a good look at where they were. Tall trees that seemed to grow neverending up into the sky with branches many Yuki's thick. The trunks reminded her of the images of redwood trees she had seen pictures of on the internet from the United States, only many times thicker. The ground was covered in fallen leaves and forest flora.
Yuki could hear the animals causing a fuss all around them. From night birds to other animals that Yuki did not know what they were just from their cries alone but she did hear many roars and howls telling her many predators were out. She just hoped whatever it was would not be too high of a level.
"Yuki, we should head up into the trees." Michi suggested when she saw that Yuki was dressed again.
"But… I do not think I can climb these trees." Yuki looked up at the wide trunk with no low limbs for her to grab onto and no footholds. She had never even climbed a tree in her entire life, how was she supposed to do it now?
"Excuse me..." Michi, once again scooped Yuki up into her arms and before Yuki had time to react, began speedily running up the tree all the way to the third branch that had lots of foliage covering to it.
"Mich that was amazing!" Yuki was seriously impressed. She never expected that Michi could easily run up a tree like that while carrying someone no less.
"Hehe!" Michi blushed at Yuki's praise, making her tail wag frantically back and forth.
"Michi will we be safe up here?" Yuki asked. She felt nervous because she had heard bird calls too.
"Mmm. As long as no screechers show up in this area we will be fine. But Michi has not heard any. If any get close by, Michi will be able to detect their scent. So Yuki can sleep without worry." Mich explained as she pulled Yuki into her embrace.
Yuki immediately began to relax when she felt Michi's warmth. Michi brushed Yuki's hair aside and nibbled on her neck causing Yuki to giggle. And like that at some point, after Michi was done staking her claim on Yuki's neck, Yuki fell fast asleep.
---
A gust of wind blew through the leaves causing one to break off from its branch and flutter down falling right on top of Yuki's nose. Yuki shifted her nose back and forth until finally opening her eyes. She reached up and picked up the leaf and tossed it to the side. She looked up to see two eyes looking back at her which made Yuki smile. She leaned up and kissed the soft lips in front of her and said: "Good morning Suzu..."
"Suzu? Michi is Michi, not Suzu..." Michi said tilting her head to the side in confusion.
Yuki quickly felt bad as she sat straight up, flustered, and started to explain. "Ahh! Sorry, Michi… I was still half asleep. Suzu is a dear friend of mine who passed away a few days ago… I apologize. Michi is right, Michi is Michi and not Suzu. So let me redo that." Yuki blushed and leaned forward, licked Michi's lips a few times before pushing her lips firmly against Michi's lips, and even pushed her tongue into Michi's mouth, swirling it around a few times. Yuki's face was bright red as she did this. She went to pull away but Michi grabbed her head and began kissing Yuki back. Yuki's mind began to go blank as she and Michi began to kiss like lovers.
While Yuki and Michi were kissing, a small bird was perched overhead. The bird's feathers were blue in color all except a small red patch of feathers that stood up on the top of its head. It looked like a proud bird. One would think it was the king of this forest just from looking at its demeanor. It looked down at the demi human and human passionately kissing below it and spat to the side. "How dirty. In broad daylight too. They are lucky I just pooped or I would let my droppings fall on them. But they still can not get away with doing such dirty acts in my tree."
The proud blue bird flew up off the branch and began to dive down, aiming for the top of the human girl's head. "Ouch, what the hell!?" Yuki yelled out after being pecked in the head. She looked around and saw nothing around that could have caused the pain in her head just now. Then she felt something on her chest and realized that her rabbit skin top was no longer binding what it should and slightly tanned hands were cupping both her mounds. "Michi!" Yuki quickly backed away and fixed her shirt. Yes, she had gotten into it with Michi. Yes, she was enjoying the kiss very much so. Yes, she probably liked what Michi was doing to her but now that she was out of her daze she couldn't let it happen!
"Hehe… Sorry Yuki… " Michi smiled brightly like it was no big deal.
As Yuki finished fixing her top and was about to say something to Michi, she felt another sting of pain on the top of her head. "Ouch!"
"Haha! Take that stupid dirty human! Doing such dirty things in my tree!"
