This sin, it is inside the idea of gluttony. But it is itself a different subject. Greed. What is greed? Greed is an intense and selfish desire for something, especially wealth, power, or food. Greed is when you see something. You immediately want it. Think about all the ways you could get it. You will do anything for that "thing". Even travel the world if you have to. Also greed isn't just about being greedy for something. You could also be greedy for someone or with someone. You never know what will happen. Greed is something you would change your whole life for. Even if it complicates your life and you need it. You'll keep at it. Why? Because you need it to survive. Imagine this, you are a scared little kid that thinks a ghost is gonna come and kill you in the night. You don't want to be alone. So you immediately call your mom or dad. You make them stay with you for your own sake. What is that? Is it greed or just selfishness, maybe it's something else. It can be anything you want it to be. But you made that decision instead of becoming brave and showing not yourself but also your brain that there's nothing behind the darkness but darkness. Just like there's nothing between the shadows, just your body reflection. That it's just your mind playing tricks on you. Why? Because the human brain is a complicated matter. I have a question. Do you guys know why people greed for something? The answer to that is because it solves their problems. It can be one way or another, but it does. It makes them feel better about themselves and safer on their own comfort. It saves them from their own and other people's emotions. Shields them by overacting on self emotion and self greed for themselves.
