Capítulo 86: The Pokemon Games: Strength Ranking
The sun was shining onto the filled stands. Every home had the TV open on channel hosting the Pokemon Games. People gathered waiting for today's event of the strength test. Which trainer will be crowned as the strongest.
Many girls held signs for the handsome announcer, Author Notes. He did do a good job with the last chap.. um event.
The stadium was filled to the brim with people. Many of the crowd waiting for the participants. The participant are of course going to be the same group of finalists. Their was no need to repeat the same preliminary testing when the same finalists were known. The only difference is that the event will be different.
Due to this the person who wins would obviously change. People were excited to know which Pokemon would the participants pick. It couldn't be helped for the people to think in this way. It hasn't been long since they opened up a bit to the idea of Pokemon. Many people, before Austin's idea came to light, never seen a Pokemon their entire life and lived in fear of them.
Now with the Pokemon propaganda being spread from the east to the west. People got curious as to what these creatures are, how do they look like. How does the league regulate them? Many questions concerning safety all the way to the types of Pokemon has been asked. This type of thinking was what the league has been trying to instill in its people for over fifty years now. At least that's how it is in Asadia(from now on the name will be spelt as such).
In the field the participants began to walk out one by one. For reminders sake Author Notes reintroduced them.
In the D-rank group the participants were Raymond, Whitney, Shrek, Roger, Nathan, Omar, Drake (the only non veteran, he was part of Bobby's group), Cloud, Yelp, Fred, and Denise. The pokemon they had was different for the strength test.
The C-Rank participants were Bobby, Phillip, Hugo, Ginnette, Jacob, Tobi(chatter box), Jennifer(who became an actor), Sky(a veteran close to B-rank), Rachel(where's Rachel), Doritos a five year Trainer( an orphan with no name, he named himself after his favorite bag of chips).
The B-rank were Maxwell( who taught the Chosen), Rain (a lucky Trainer who somehow made it to B-rank), Fred (who was the leader of the farm mission), Sara (a 10 year trainer who is pretty aggressive), Fred's Wife (her name was Leva and she is Fred's wife), Tom ( he is basically an old guy, everyone calls him Uncle Tom), Raven, Draco, Gryffindor, Pete (these four guys became trainers at the same time. They won't be mentions after this event.)
The A ranks would not participate in this event nor the next one. According to the league that the battle will be destructive and may injure the audience. The entertainment department due to only having knowledge of B-rank trainers, did not make any precautions for A rank strength.
Nevertheless, the audience were still hyped seeing the different types of Pokemon being commanded.
Author Notes: "ladies and gentlemen. Today's event will be another shocker. That's right in this event will test which Pokemon will have the highest physical strength among the participants.
Their will be three contests in this event. Each event will have points. The person with the highest cumulative points will be crowned as the power king.
The First event will be lifting boulders made of a special alloy made by Minral Industries. A device is installed to increase the weight every second. The pokemon will start out with the same weight. As time passes it will get difficult to hold. Last pokemon standing is the winner.
The next event is the mountain bashing. Only physical moves can be used in this event. But wait, there's more.. the Pokemon will unleash pure physical assault on this Dark Steel mountain also built and donated by Minral Industries. The Pokemon with the highest attack force will be the winner.
The final event is the most exciting event. A Royal Rumble Wrestling match. No elemantal or nonphysical type moves can be used. This every Pokemon for themselves. The winner will be the last one standing!
Hold on to your seats folks, before we start the event I want to introduce a special rule only for this event. All participants will be joined in a single unit. That right you heard the Author well. Rank means nothing hear. This is a test of the natural physical talent of the Pokemon as well as tests how well the Pokemon was trained to use its strength.
Good luck participants. And for the audience it's what you have been waiting for. LET THE GAAAAMMMES BEGIN!!"
The crowd cheered and the participant were filled with fighting spirit. They might not be able to win against the B-ranks, they will try to give them a run for their money.
Chuck Norris: "Damn! Such a manly event and I don't even get to participate."
Austin: "Teacher you know how destructive your Pokemon would be. Each mastered aura and have their basic strength at the peak elite. Your strongest Pokemon have their strength reaching the mid champion rank. I bet that even at its heaviest your Pokemon will be able to throw the special alloy boulder across Asadia."
Muliere: "I wonder who would win. Some of those D-rank have strong Pokemon do to the years they spent as trainers. They just didn't rank up. Austin your group although talents might not be able to place in the top ten. This is truly an interesting event."
Austin: "honestly I'm not sure who would win but I don't think my peers will be out of the top 10. "
As the audience was cheering and chatting away. The participants called out their Pokemon.
In the D-rank corner, the most notable was Pokemon were Raymond's Onix, Shrek's Snorlax, Drake's Drednaw(gen8), Omar's Crustle.
In the C-rank the audiences, normal people as well as trainers, were shock at the abomination which was Jacob's Draspar(fake evolution of dunsparce). Hugo used his lairon, while Doritos surprisingly had a super rare melmetal. Sky brought out her Rhydon and Tobi called his golem(was a graveler).
The B rank also had unique and rare Pokemon. Other than some who had machamp, Golem, Onix, and Snorlax. Sara called an awesome elephant looking Pokemon called Copperajah. Rain actually had Tyranitar (no wonder he is B-rank). Uncle Tom had called his Conkeldurr.
These were the Pokemon that stood out the most to people. After the announcer introduced them.
"Boooom!!!" A machoke banged a giant drum signaling the trainers to begin.
The Pokemon stood at there respective alloy boulder. They began to lift it. The entire boulder was already 100kg. It increased at a pass of 50kg per second.
Some Pokemon of the D-ranks showed signs of struggle just lifting the boulder.
Author Notes: " WOW! Ladies and the other guys check out Sara's Copperajah it is unphased even though a minute passed. The D-ranks have Raymond's onix, it is slightly shaking can it withstand this test of time.
To think Hugo's lairon is still in this its will to stay in this competition is admirable.This is the type of determination people should have. A will the won't break, never giving up because that's my ninja... *cough*.... Because that's the only way to survive and move forward in this Chaotic World." (That was close , I got carried away and almost went naruto on the audience)
Even the Author did not realize the words he just spoke resonated with everyone watching the games, even the trainers themselves. 'The only way to survive, is to grit your teeth and move forward. For your family, for your friends, for humanity' these were words once left by a S-rank trainer 50 years ago.
Lairon began to wobble and was about to fall. Yet at the last moment it heard its trainer cheering it on. It saw the conviction in his eyes, his belief in it. Suddenly it began to glow...
Author Note: "What is this Lairon is glowing! Oh MY GOD(apologies I don't believe in Arceus) everyone you are witnessing a rare moment in history. Lairon is evolving, That's right! Evolving reaching the last stage of its evolution chain. "
Then a roar sounded throughout the stadium.
"AGGROON!!"
Once the roar ended, the crowd cheered for this exciting display. Hugo was also excited, if his aggron lasts just a bit more then he would enter 10th place beating a b-rank Trainer.
Austin muttered: "thanks to Hugo I might get another huge pay check." Then he picked up his phone and called the entertainment industry's boss.
"The event is looking successful. If your interested I have an idea that can get us even more money. After this event, many people will feel excited when talking about Pokemon. You can make mini Pokemon figurines of the ones that participated in the Pokemon games and its pre evolutions. Also I have an idea of introducing a trading card game of Pokemon(this is original since no on in this world thought of it) we'll talk of the details after the games."
"Mr. Catcher you truly are a genius, and your good at catching opportunities. I'm sure the Aggron figurine will sell like crazy." Then the entertainment industry boss laughed happily as he ended the call.(evil business man laugh)
Both Muliere and Old Man Norris shook their heads as they couldn't fathom how Austin's mind worked.
'Beeeep!'
Author Notes: "Congratulation To Sara who won first place in this event. Second Place was Rain's Tyranitar. Third place was Draco's Onix. Fourth place was Fred's Snorlax. Fifth place was..... 9th place is surprisingly Hugo's Aggron! What an upset ladies and gentle men. Tenth place is Maxwell's Golem.
The top 10 were chosen for this event with Sara getting first place winning three hundred points. Well take a five minute break to allow our trainers to heal their Pokemon....
Now here come the participants files let's begin the second event. "
This event was also exciting. The power of each Pokemon was shown. People were also able to visiblely see the difference between each class. This time however no one managed to enter the top ten. The B-rank participants were much stronger than the rest of the trainers. The closest one to get close to that power was Jacob and his Draspar.
The winner this time was old man Toms Conkeldurr, followed by Sara's Copperajah, then Fred's Snorlax.
Author Note: "Ladies and Gentleman the most exciting, most brutal event that you've all been waiting for. THE POKÉMON ROYAL RUMBLE!!!! The contestants will stand to the side. Their Pokemon, on the other hand, will be placed on the giant round stage that has been set up in the center of stadium.
The Pokemon will begin a free for all after the giant drum is hit. No trainer is allowed to order their Pokemon. The Pokemon can only use physical skills. This will show how well trained a Pokemon is. No flying or digging, if any rule is broken you will be disqualified. The Pokemon who faint or fall off the stage are also out.
The Last Pokemon standing will be the winner of this event. LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!"
The trainers all gave a briefing to their Pokemon during the announcement. The stage had 24 Pokemon out of thirty as some people forfeited(mostly the girls from C and D).
'Boom!!!'
The drums sounded and the free for all began. Some Pokemon were scared and were easily knocked out. Other Pokemon were hanging up on the more powerful ones.
Austin: "what a brutal match. The B rank contestants Pokemon are sweeping through the rest of the pokemon. That Copperajah is truly strong. I never seen or heard of this Pokemon."
Muliere: "That Pokemon is one of the few Pokemon that is almost impossible to find in this area. This came from a region now considered a danger zone. The Galar(correct me if I'm wrong) region. Most trainers and people who moved to that new land back then(100 years ago) came back to the 7 regions populated by humans.
It might seem a surprise but even back then human only occupied 10 percent of the land. Not to mention now that the world was changed and expanded. Who knows how many undiscovered Pokémon exist. Maybe their might be Pokémon as strong as Arceus out there."
Austin: "That part of what makes being a trainer exciting. Traveling the world and meeting new people and Pokémon alike. Once I'm strong enough I will go and travel, who knows maybe we will learn how to fix the problem between us and Pokémon.
Chuck Norris: Shut your pie hole, you sentimental pricks! I am trying to watch Pokemon bashing each other. I wish I could join them down their it looks so fun. Austin after this we are going to have a match.... I mean training you on actual combat.
Author Notes: amazing Conkeldurr just blasted onix out of the ring with a focus punch. Aggron is hanging on tight. It won't let Maxwell's golem take it down without a fight.
Copperajah bulldozed through the D rank Pokemon that teamed up against it. Wow in this short time only 12 Pokemon... I mean 11 Pokemon remain. Aggron just surprise attacked golem with an iron head. Then it rolled him out of the stage. Let's see the recap on the screen.
Oowww! That's got to hurt. Golem might have a concussion for a few days from that one.
The newly discovered evolution of Dunsparce, Draspar was fighting its all to take out the B rank Onix. Too bad it was iron tailed out of the stage. Literally getting hit with a giant tail made of stone swung with unnatural force while hardened by metal particles, how the hell draspar survived is beyond me.
What is this conkeldurr and copperajah are working together to get rid of competitors. Snorlax out, Machamp out, Tyranitar out, Croocidile out, Drednaw blast away with a double edge. These Pokemon are on a role the only Pokemon on stage is onix now. It's fighting both Pokemon neck to neck.
I just realized where is Hugo's aggron. (Camera zooms in on a spot behind onix.) wow Hugo a C-rank trainer managed to keep Aggron in the game by a genius tactic of hiding behind the huge onix.
Onix can't hold on and was pushed to the edge. Hugo's aggron charges from the side trying to push Conkeldurr out with onix. But wait, Conkeldurr pulls a tom and jerry move. He move to the side and low kicks in front of aggron causing it to trip onto onix pushing both of them out. What a comedic change of events."
The audience were impressed that without order the Pokemon could attack in such a smart manner. Pokemon don't appear to be just beast. From Aggrons tactic to hide and attack to cronkeldurr tripping it out. Even the way both cronkeldurr and Copperajah began to work together to take down participants.
People began to realize that Pokemon aren't just mindless beasts. This also caused them to fear a bit as if Pokemon were that smart then humanity's future would be bleak. It seems Pokemon truly aren't trying to destroy humanity. Who know?
Author Note: Conkeldurr is a little rascal, trying to push the almost one ton Copperajah out of the stage. Just before it could, Copperajah's trunk wrapped around the extended arm or Conkeldurr tossing him out.
With this anticlimactic ending we have our winner Sara. The top ten are all be rank except for eighth place which was won by Hugo and Aggron according to the points.
Just like yesterday first place is 150,000 second place is 100,000 and the third place is fifty thousand. The remaining from the top ten win 1000 dollars. Thank for supporting this event please come tomorrow for the most exciting event. The Trainers with fight each other according to the old Pokemon league rules.
Another day of great excitement. Austin went to 'train' with Norris and returned home black and blue. The bs training would put an ordinary man in the hospital. He got another call and was paid a direct deposit of 700,000 pokedollars. He was sure the business men made at least 10 times what they gave him. Shady as businessmen are available in any world.
Austin was truly looking forward to the B-rank battles tomorrow. They will fight using aura which Austin wanted to see for a while.

AN: So my wonderful readers, I will tell you my thought and plans for the future.
As many of you know I'm basically eating shit with school work for Pharm School. Now good news this is my last semester, so might be able to pick up the pace after I get done with exams and papers work need to head back to the states.
Bad news when I get back to the states, I will probably be off for a bit will let you know then. As I have a foreign Pharm exam and tofel exam that I got to finish.
Now this story will have one more chap for the end of the season. I will use the next chap to plan and show the next level of trainers in the new world. Like this chap the next one will be about 2-3k words which means, equal to 3-5 of my standard chapter.
I also have been wanting to end my TDG fanfic, I will end it with a timeline chapter showing the main events that would happen.
Finally I plan to start a naruto fanfic. I will probably get to it after finals and when I finish the things mentioned regarding my other stories.
I am hoping that the airports are opening soon. (Closed due to covd19) hopefully by July everything moves for the better.
