The moon was high in the night sky now but there is another thing that needs to be settled.
ok first things first, the whole plan of having golems as the nightguards was completely a bad idea, as they were destroyed within an hour, while Cu managed to get a quick power nap the lizardmen had three groups of Six trying to hunt him.
Because the higher the concentration of magic or life-force one held in their body, the more the lizardmen would crave for the prey they targeted it was a supplement that they needed to grow stronger, and hunt better prey, And with Cu being someone that decided to add magic circuits to his body that were originally just 'tattoos' to show off, look cooler so on and so forth.
This decision made him akin to a beacon that beckons Lizardmen and archfiends alike so in some ways he shot himself in the foot, luckily for him he now had access to his raiments, offerings and other items thanks to a Portraiture appearing in from of him which he changed out all of his offerings to his best ones.
Cu never really liked using elements but thanks to the changes he experienced and knowledge that was shared, Cu understood that compared to the game there an almost infinite ways of using the offerings the only thing that needed to be kept in mind was the compatibility of the items.
For example, using an eye to create a spear would destroy the item when used the same way less than half of the times compared to a bone, iron ore, or even better a spear tip!
When it would have been better to use the eye as an item to augment your sight to see through illusions or to improve your perception to detect invisible attackers, Anything related to what the eyes can do the limit is what you use to fuel the offering to provide greater abilities or results for a limited time.
the offerings he chose were Devil's Razor(which was his own original blood innate offering that is available to him should all of his other offerings become exhausted which means he can have one more offering), Steel spear tip+, Regenesis Seed+, Abyssal Bead+, Chthonian Bead+, Assassin's Wingtip+, Bahamut's Scaled mask, Headhunting arrowhead (its reach surpassed that of the archer's arrowhead and had triple the power if all the arrows hit the same target which sadly could only be used five times it hasn't been boosted yet due to its rarity)
In the game, you can only have 6 offerings active at a time but in this world, it can be up to ten, only if their right arm can handle the strain.
Two melee weapons, a healing item that had been boosted too many times, 2 summoning offerings, an evasion spell, a transformation item, then finally an anti-air offering that can one-shot the majority of the fiends, seven headhunting arrows can be fired at once for five times.
It wasn't a very wide selection but it will still do the job!
As for the awaited sigils, Cu added the neutral ones that resonated with one another, spear magic + to damage output by 40 + 8 points and duration increased by 33 + 17 seconds, increased damage of blood magic by 88% + 22% and increased duration by 7 + 3 seconds, increased solo healing magic by 50% + 11% and additional 25% thanks to the resonance, increased Summoning magic duration by more than half and every hit delivered by his summons and him, decreases enemy defense by 2, then finally the Cu's favorite one was the auto lock-on throwing spell, increased range of spells by 1.
the last sigil was the most terrifying one as imagine your spells raining down upon your enemies even before they could react and the melee spells were around mid-range now meaning you can attack from a safe distance using the already slightly mid-ranged spear magic.
how much more for the other spells?
it may seem like cheating with the current sigils however don't forget that Sorcerers on the legendary rank have their own customized Sigils that would bolster their spells to even greater heights the downside of it though it had to be focused on two types of spells if done correctly the bonus can be up 350%, as least for the focused ones, and Cu was the type that liked being versatile for it to be easier to adapt and escape as this set saved his white ass numerous times.
This is why he can be quite a pain to fend off, even more so, when attempting to assassinate him even more so when his other new ability kicks in, to increase the potency of his sigils!!
now the next thing was what will he use for the Lizardmen, and 3 more factions were coming too.
One of them was obviously from Avalon from the dreadful stench of death that could smelt from far away, the other two, however, what worried him was the other two groups as they didn't have the whimsical feeling of the Grim, nor did they have the calming aura of the Sanctuarium, so there was a very high chance that they may be his enemies alongside the approaching Avalon members.
Due to him no longer following the creed of sacrifice the bounty on his head was higher than Sympatha's as well as Similia's combined, then again, he did beat the shit out of the ever-demanding leader of Avalon whose body was very ogre-like thus those that seen him from afar and those under him entitled him as the "Red ogre", both from fear and respect.
the man's name was William Nomian before his complete change, being the head honcho of the order of Avalon he was a very cruel and ruthless man, he has no family left thanks to them being his first Sacrifices upon becoming a sorcerer, at least that's what they say.
He had European-like features green eyes, dirty blonde hair, angular face, slightly round nose, to put it simply he had the looks similar to a greek god, but thanks to the things that William had gone through all of that was lost in exchange for the power to rule over the many.
the people from Avalon were fifteen all were borderline legendary sorcerers, same for the other groups in terms of power, but fewer in numbers as the armored ones were 6, and the other group of 8 were covered in... shrubs? and beast skin the leader wearing the skin of a tiger and the rest wore bearskin they were some distance away.
The lizardmen, now ignoring the additional people coming, were now trying their luck again in an all-out assault their overall magic rivaled that of pseudo grand sorcerer that was one rank lower than a legendary sorcerer since they were so eager to fight and die, so for just the hell of it, Cu brought forth his Abyssal Beads+ as a sadistic grin formed on his face.
He shook it a few times before pouring his magic into it, a large portal formed in front of him before a blue arm covered by a silver gauntlet came out of it that rose high before it slammed its hand into the ground digging into it, before the arm began to strain itself as a head with white hair popped out of the portal, with long grey horns with red tips that were wider than a man's thigh.
the creature released a breath that electrified anything it touched before more of its body followed its muscular frame was intimidating as a bead necklace flicker about from the moonlight, the rest of its body emerged from the portal it was a tall Beast that was about 15+ meters, a mass of pure muscle, a long tail covered in scales and with a spiked ball as the tip wagged about eagerly.
This creature was called an Abyssal fiend that was loyal to its summoner, it was hungry but it was patient enough to wait, although it would eat its summoner if it wasn't provided with enough magic after all it was still a 'demon' that was only bound by magic for now.
the Lizardmen were a rare treat for archfiends even more so for a creature that was as strong if not stronger than its summoner meaning that this Abyssal fiend could easily beat two of its kin be it through magic or simply brawling with ease, lizardmen are also filled with potent magic that they barely could use which is why these creatures were enemies as well so in this world the power structure was more of sorcerers vs Archfiends vs Lizardmen as all three factions had infighting of their own.
Cu used his Assassin's Wingtip+ to 'disappear' before the Abyssal fiend let out a Guttural roar while gathering a large amount of magic to its arms then charged with them raised high as sparks surged from its hands targeting the closest lizardman that failed to react from the sheer power it released, before receiving two palms that lit up the night sky as lightning flew into the air!
it was a quick death for the unlucky lizardman it was burnt until there was nothing left, the Abyssal fiend then charged another large amount of magic that trickled its overall magic capacity into its mouth before firing off three lightning attacks that were like cannonballs that created an explosion sending the intended targets to go flying while suffering the shock from the 'light' tap!
It wanted to relish this moment of freedom as much as possible the weaklings it was attacking were its appetizer as the approaching magic it felt from afar made it want more!
it was made fight!

Since it was essentially immortal like it's kin only much more powerful, more terrifying the lizardmen's suffering had only begun as it wanted a light stretch before the main dish arrives so it forcefully downgraded its attacks to leave the ones that were unlucky to get hit to be barely alive!
That what it loved the most to see its prey suffer as much as possible before it devoured them!
Yeah, the summon will have its moment as the next chapter will be through its eyes with a bloody bonus.
