Capítulo 73: Cheng-Are You Their Fan?
Hong Taewon.
We stared at each other for a while. 'Long time, no see,' I said coldly.
'I was hoping we'd never run into each other again,' Taewon said quietly. I could feel his rage building up inside him. His fists were clenched into a fist, as if ready to strike.
'I see you still have that nasty temper of yours,' I smirked.
'What do you want?' he asked coolly. 'I thought we decided never to run into each other again.'
'It's a small world,' I shot back. 'I was just looking for my room. Didn't know this hotel allows scum inside its premises.'
Taewon grabbed my collars. 'One more word, and I'll forget about the contract,' he threatened.
I shook off his hands. 'Contract or no contract,' I said. 'TNT will always be better than you. I'll make sure of that. After what you did, I'll never let TNT's name be ruined by the likes of you.'
Taewon lunged at me, pushing me back to the wall. I shoved him hard and he landed on his back. He came at me again with a punch but his hand was stopped midway by someone.
'WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?' It was Joonjae. Jan was a few steps behind him, looking alarmed.
'Stop acting like a bunch of kids,' Joonjae bellowed. 'You,' he pointed at me. 'What are you doing here?'
I ignored him. 'We better not run into each other again,' I warned them.
'You're the one who came to us,' Taewon spat. 'What would your CEO say if he hears that you violated the contract?'
'Enough!' Joonjae shot up again. 'Cheng, leave right now and we'll forget this incident ever happened.'
Footsteps were approaching our way. A slim figure was heading towards our way. It was Mia.
'Cheng, they're waiting for-' she stopped mid-sentence. Her eyes widened in shock as she scanned all of us.
'Were you all fighting?' she asked, confused. I noted that she was not surprised to see the members of D3.
'Miss, take him back to his room,' Taewon growled, looking away. I caught a glimpse of confusion in Mia's eyes before it vanished.
'Cheng,' she tugged at me. 'Let's go.'
I stood there, with a frozen expression. A realization struck me.
'Go,' Joonjae ordered. 'Miss, please remove him from here.'
I turned to Mia. 'When you said you were a fan of TNT,' I asked in a hollow tone. 'Does that mean, you're also a fan of the ex-members?'
Mia was mortified. 'I-I...' she stammered.
'Forget it,' I shrugged her off and walked off ahead. Her hesitation answered my question. I was so naive to not realize that Mia was probably a fan of the original TNT lineup. When I turned, she stood there, feeling confused, looking from me to the D3 members.
'Please forget what happened today,' she said and bowed low towards them. Taewon walked back in the room while Jan followed him. Only Joonjae replied to her. 'Don't worry about it,' he muttered before following his members.
'Are you coming?' I demanded.
'Y-yes,' she said as she hurried to join me.
We did not talk when we got on the lift and rode all the way downstairs. As the lift opened, Mia was about to get out when I grabbed her hand and pulled her back.
She looked at me in surprise. 'Do not tell Soo-Yon hyung what happened,' I warned her.
Mia was calm under my gaze. She looked directly into my eyes and said, 'Are you an idiot?'
