The kindness of Alfred's family overwhelmed Samantha. She had always imagined that rich families looked down on simple individuals like her, worse, someone who had no family - an orphan.
When she learned that Brie's husband, Tyler, had also lost his parents at a young age and that Alfred's grandfather practically raised him, it made her think the family was open to nourishing outsiders, having given a stranger a chance to live under their care.
It impressed her beyond words. Especially with the way they treated her, it made her conclude that the Lu family did not weigh on one's background or status.

Soon enough, she felt a hand reached for her cold palms. She turned to her left and found Alfred's handsome face, gazing directly at her.

Andrea: "Babe, we need to make sure. Give him at least a quarter!"
[The couple went laughing and Lu Fang turned to his wife.]
Lu Fang: "How about brewing one right now, wife?"
Andrea: "Rrrrrr! I like the idea."
[LiLhyz is completely being ignored]
LiLhyz: "Guys, let's focus on the interview, please. We are here to talk about Alfred."
[LiLhyz is completely being ignored again. Lu Fang and Andrea got up]
LiLhyz: "You realized, there isn't going to be smut unless I write them, right?"
[Lu Fang turned to Andrea and then to the author]
Lu Fang: "Author, you can't do that! Your readers will hate you."
[Lu Fang scooped his wife and carried her outside the interview room]
[LiLhyz let out a heavy sigh and shook her head]
LiLhyz: "What can I do? I made them this way."
