The Synths attacks never seem to give up for even a second, all the attacks is tiring the troops. Even if the synths are weak, they are just so damn many, I seen the troops need more support as the Assaultrons and recruits getting pushed back by numbers. As I was thinking of what to do I noticed something and quickly contacted Preston.
Preston come in. (Brendon)
Brendon? I'm busy what you need? (Preston)
What happened to the Sentry bots? (Brendon)
... (Garvey)
Looking around the battlefield there is not one sentry bot in sight, Vertibirds flying over the battle and shooting below, Synths blowing up into metal parts and Ants dragging Some down as the Recruits are smart enough to evade the ants when they attack unlike Synths. But throughout the battle there is not one Sentry Bot present.
Did they get left behind when we had to rush here they are slow after all? (Preston)
I slapped myself on the forehead.
Right, being unable to be slow, we passed them by. They need improvements. (Brendon)
As we are talking, I was shooting at some Synths that appeared near by and Preston also has to deal with some around him.
{Boom!}{Boom!}{Boom!}{Boom!}
On cue Grenades fell from the sky and blew up on contact, the battle is happening between lasers and guns, the sound of explosions drew everyone's attention right away. Looking over, seeing sentry bots rolling in from the back of the Synths shooting them, I laughed.

Welcome back, set up position and help attack he flank. (Brendon)

Garvey, Take command over your side and start working together with Commander Red, clear out all enemies. (Brendon)

Commander Red separated the sentry Bots into teams, and spread them out, Commander Preston had his side also go into teams and spread out circling the other half.
Many teams with flamethrowers moved into the ant nest and started blasting flames and moved deeper inside.
The G1 Synths are teleporting into the center of the death circle, it had became shooting fish in a barrel.
We just got to hold out a bit longer. (Brendon)

As soon as the tower activated, the Synths that endlessly teleported into the death circle stopped, the ones already present was quickly killed.
The stop made the active loud battlefield become quiet as the past synth present was destroyed, but nobody let there guard down.
After a bit of waiting, I spoke to everyone at once.
Jamming tower activated, we are free from synth teleporting in! Clear the Ants out and we are finished with this place! (Brendon)
Yeah! (Everyone)
The cheers shook the ground, even the roof I stood on felt vibrations from the cheering.
The troops after cheering went off to remove the ants, moving through the many large holes in the ground.
Master, from the battle you have leveled up six times. (Jade)
That is quite the jump from never leveling up at all. (Brendon)
You have been building bases not actually actively trying to fight so you never got to level up as you need to kill or lead your troops like this onto a Battle. (Jade)
I did, you just slept through it.... (Brendon)
Now with the Tower is up, you will gain experience in Sector two when your troops kill anywhere without you needing to be there present. (Jade)

The ground had cracks spread out and the troops inside the many holes came running out and made there way far away.
I seeing this contacted Preston who is on the ground directing the troops.
Commander Preston, what is happening? (Brendon)
From what I got from the troops running out, something big is coming out from the ground. (Preston)
Prepare for combat then, Commander Red circle the cracking section and be ready to attack when command is given. (Brendon)

Many trees that was already damaged by laser fire, with some on fire just by being hit so many times. Are now leaning to the side as the cracks spread out, not long after the ground blasted upwards sending large Chung's of dirt and trees close by falling to the ground.
Everyone was already in place with the cloud of dust and dirt filled area making it difficult to see but Jade spoke.
Master, the Ant Queen has appered. (Jade)
Ant Queen? (Brendon)
Yes Master. The Ant Queen that is 14 meters long and 8 meters in height. From its size it can lay at least a few billion in one day. (Jade)
What! (Brendon)
As it's clearing up, not only me but everyone present inhaled sharply. The huge ant having a large back end with large two pair of wings, large more straight mandibles then the other ants they look gagged and sharp.
The troops was stunned at the huge ant it's size is crazy, I seen that it's not attacking and about to give the word when I had a Light bulb moment.
Jade, if I trap this Ant Queen make a place for it to live at and let it produce Ants and use it to train the troops will I also get the Experience? (Brendon)
Master, that is ingenious idea, you can but as how it does in games it will lower experience over time.
The beginning you will level up quick but over time it will drop to 1 experience per kill until it stops at a constant 0.1 experience per kill. (Jade)
0.1 and a billion ants... I say that is some decent experience. (Brendon)
Sir! Can we attack! (Red)
Hearing this and seeing the Ant queen was about to make the first move, it stood there already waiting for a bit, but seeing no attacks happened it's now taking the first strike.
All troops do not engage the Ant Queen, we are capturing it alive! (Brendon)
Preston who was about to take command stumbled and contacted me right after.

Attack but don't kill it, aim for the legs to slow it down. (Brendon)

Jade, from all your calculations, can you make a Wire to hold the ant queen without snapping. If so make it we can recycle the Wire later. (Brendon)
I can, it will be made in a net. (Jade)
Seeing the many long wires being created it starts weaving together with each wires and not long a metal net was created, I spoke to the pilots.
Wings, pick up the Net over here by the tower! (Brendon)

Preston already had the troops shooting the ant queen legs and the damage was minimal even some bullets bounced off the hard legs.
What is the leader thinking? (?)

Reapers! Attach the net for the vertibirds, use the same connection system the supplies was used! (Brendon)
Having to yell from the many Vertibirds hovering above me, there places cutting through the air is loud.
Affirmative! (Reapers)
As they are attaching the net, the ground force is destracting the Ant Queen it will move from one direction but had to stop and go the other way as it was hit from the back and keeping it running back and fourth it does not seem that smart, the vertibirds got the net in the Sky quickly.
Moving it over the Ant Queen path for it to walk right under the Ant Queen and waiting for it to move under the net, the Pilots start calculating the slow drop prosses of the net and the speed of the Ant Queen, the Pilots dropped the net and it fell on top of the Ant Queen trapping it, getting trapped it moved to get out but the Net entrapped it under it and connected to itself quickly.

Master, you dont have a place to put it, you need to set up a big area for it to stay in and that means having a huge steel box filled with Dirt and other things. (Jade)

Wings, connect the net back and carry the ant queen back to base.
Commander Preston, we took more damage this time lets return to the base and reorganize before heading out. (Brendon)
Commander Red, secure the tower and keep it protected until a team is sent to replace you. (Brendon)

As everyone is packing up the many weapons scattered about from the Synths and there bodies everything was collected and the many military trucks was filled up forcing the troops to walk.
Preston stayed with the convoy as I flew in a Vertibird back to the base with the Ant queen.
What is the plan, master? (Jade)
We will need to find the Quarry in Section one or Section two I don't remember the location is at.
There we will build a Matter Manipulation building to get the metals out and collect it, then the smelter north from Infinity Recruitment Office get that up and working to smelt the metal, then start building the Queen's nest using that metal.
Once that is finished I will let the troops inside the Ant next to train in there and this will also level me up at the same time as help the troops get real combat experience. (Brendon)
That is a big list to do Master. (Jade)

Master you will be attacked now more often as you have just showed that you can make things like this tower in five minutes.
How you had to defend against the institute they are probably make something to counter you. (Jade)
Of course they are, and I will not have it any other way. They can't actually get there hands on you anyway. (Brendon)
Master, they can, but they will die trying to use me the self defense system will activate, after the update there is now more protective systems available for me to use when taken from you, any systems close by will be hacked and any person can be killed by me only giving you access and nobody else. (Jade)

Yup, small laser that can go through many layers of metal. (Jade)

I arrived first, the Ant queen was set down behind the buildings in the large space.
Vertibirds all set down and any damage was being fixed from the repair bots.
An hour later the troops returned back to base. The trucks full of equipment was being sent into the armory right away.
The troops moved and started keeping watch and and wounded was being treated right away, armors being repaired, everything was being set up for the next head out.
As the troops are making themselves busy, I got in a Vertibird and Preston jumped in.
What are you doing? (Preston)
Pilot, fly to the Vault 111, North West of sanctuary. (Brendon)
Affirmative. (Pilot)
The Vertibird flew, Garvey spoke.
Brendon? (Preston)
There is something I need to do there, I never got the chance as I was not Prepared mentally. (Brendon)

Landing in the open space next to the Vault, I got out followed by Preston, the Pilot shut down the Vertibird and got into the back opening a section and pulled a Laser rifle out before jumping out right after.
The Pilot moved before me and checked the surroundings as he advanced. I walked to the Vault elevator and Preston stood beside me on the Platform.
Pilot, can you go in that buildung and press the red button. (Brendon)
Yes, Sir. (Pilot)
The pilot walked over and pressed the red button, arriving back to the elevator it started descending down.

Arriving at the bottom, and going through the ear piercing metal against metal, I walked in, and preston with the pilot looking around keeping his rifle ready.
Going up the step and passing over the metal retractable bridge, I walked over it and went to the left, there I made my way to the controls to open the vault door.
Passing a sideways table that a Roach was hiding when be and Jones passed through.
Passing a few skeletons along the way, there is one Skeleton next to the entrance button that opened the Vault door.
I bent down and preston and the Pilot made there way over.
Brendon? (Preston)
This is my mother, I knew the Bombs was going to fall and was wanting to at least get her into the Cryo Chamber but I was attacked and got knocked out by my father, by the time I woke up I was in the Cryo Chamber and my mother already passed on. (Brendon)
Unable to mentally prepare myself you can say I ran from it after knowing, I didn't have the Strangth to help my mother and even in death she still helps me. (Brendon)
Jade, can you carry my mother for me. (Brendon)
Yes. (Jade)

I dont know, something that killed my mother, I dont know Humans or not. They all died, but that was long time ago. (Brendon)
I walked back but not going to the entrance but walked deeper in the Vault heading to the armory.
What are you doing? (Preston)
There is a weapon here in the armory that I did not think of collecting till now. (Brendon)
Weapon? What is this weapon? (Preston)
It's a Cryo Weapon that will freeze people into ice. (Brendon)
You mean it's like the Bomb that gone off that froze the troops. (Preston)
...Yes, but this is wheaponized. (Brendon)
Arriving in the room, I walked over to the armory section stopped and became confused.
The Cryo gun is gone, I walked closer as there is a note in the box, I opened the unlocked case and took the note out and read it.
Hello son. I see your doing well, thought you died, but your mother still saved you. Look at you, not only did you leave your mother's corps at the entrance of this vault you let someone take the Pipboy she made, I see you have been using the one she made for you. I would have taken it from you but she must have rigged it to only accept you so I never attempted to find it.
I will work around it, I will tell you something. You will lose, I already know that you are going to be fixing the world and the like, but you will not be there to see it. Give me the Pipboy that you gave away to the other person and I will not kill everyone around you.

I punched the protective case that has the note inside. Preston that heard me read the note took a breath of cold air, the pilot looked around even more seeing if anyone is close by watching them.

love twists, for the people that have guessed correctly almost instantly you dont know how much I wanted to change it, I will just make it harder to figure out the next mystery. previous chapters in season two small hints was given, super small and probably not noticed or made sense, just to make it harder on you I am making something in this story that will connect all novels of mine.
