Capítulo 2: Xue Mansion in chaos
Xue Mansion was in chaos. The entire family was gathered in living area except for Elder Xue. Everyone was blaming Xue Nuan for being irresponsible. Father Xue was a silent spectator. He was scolding Xue Nuan inside for putting him in this position. Xue Tingyi, Cousin of Xue Nuan was trying to get attention from the family
Father Xue spoke up
"Do any of you realize, tomorrow we have a wedding to conduct. Why is everybody gathered here?"
Elder Xue walked in at the same time
"Exactly why is everyone present here?"
Xue Tingyi didn't wait for elders to reply, she jumped in
"Grandfather, Cousin Nuan left alone early in the morning by car. She hasn't informed anyone about where she is going. The Sun is going to set now, she has not arrived yet. We are actually worried about her?"
"Nuan Behavior is very irresponsible, she is putting Xue Family name at stake" Tingyi's Mother Deng Ling acted like a concerned person
"Xiao Nuan is not a kid. She will arrive on her own. All of you get back to your work." Elder Xue said in cold tone
"But grandfather…" before Tingyi could finish. Elder Xue gave a look to stop.
Everyone went back to their work. Father Xue followed his father into his study room.
"Father, even I am slightly starting to get worried"
"Son, more than anyone, I know my granddaughter Nuan. She will never disappoint me. Please wait for another hour, we will send our men to search discreetly if she didn't turn up."
"Okay father, Agreed. I will take my leave then."
After his son left, Elder Xue was in deep thoughts. He was aware that Nuan was disturbed by all the things happening in the family. He just hoped that his favorite granddaughter doesn't disappoint her.
Tingyi and her mother are happy that Xue Nuan is nowhere to be seen. If she doesn't turn up, Tingyi hoped grandfather will replace her to marry.
Half an hour later, a luxurious black jaguar entered the street of Xue Mansion
"Stop, Stop. Don't go near the Mansion. I will walk from here." Xue Nuan requested Zi Peng
"Why, you will not invite me inside the house and give me a cup of coffee for helping you today….very bad you are..." Zi Peng teased her
"I'm really sorry! Tomorrow is my wedding, so if I land up with the unknown guy in the house. it will create a ruckus. Already I'm worried about what my family will think about my absence? She was pleading with puppy face.
"Hey relax, Ms. Xue Nuan, I was just teasing you. I also have to go back to work as well. It was a pleasure meeting you."
"Thanks so much Peng for understanding. Time spent with you was a different experience for me. I really wish that I have met you earlier. Can we be friends? Please come to marriage tomorrow" saying that she gave him a wedding card from her bag.
"Don't worry Ms. Xue Nuan, how I can miss your wedding, I will definitely be there. I will also cherish the time I had spent with you. Take my number, drop me message after you reach home and things get calm. And don't hesitate to call me if you ever need anything."
She bid farewell quickly to Zi Peng and started walking towards Xue Mansion. Till now, she felt very and comfortable warm. Now she is slowly feeling restless of entering her own home.
Zi Peng didn't leave immediately, he had waited till she entered the premises and then he drove straight to his Private Villa.
On the way he got call from his mother
"Xiao Peng, Where are you dear? Come to Zi Mansion soon. We are waiting for you" The entire car heard mother Zi's sweet voice in speakers.
"Mother, I am heading to my villa right now. I have few more works to do before I reach Zi mansion, please don't wait up for me."
Mother Zi knows her stubborn son very well. So she requested
"Okay Son, Please try to comeback as soon as possible"
Xue Nuan entered the Mansion thinking how her family is going to react. Xue Tingyi caught her on the living area itself. She called her mother as well
"Mother, come soon. The great Xue Nuan has come back finally."
Tingyi's Mother Deng Ling asked in an angry voice
"What do you think of yourself, where did you go without informing anyone? Were you planning to elope with someone else and disgrace this respected Xue Family"
"So Cousin Nuan, you are still planning to marry the man of my dreams. How dare you are?"
Xue Nuan looked up and said
"Yes, I am going to marry him. Please talk to grandfather if you have any problem."
Deng Ling got angry by stubborn Nuan's words
"What do you mean? You don't even know him or his family. Our Tingyi and he are dating for years together. You think your marriage will survive?"
"Then why didn't he ask for Tingyi to marry instead of me?" Xue Nuan spoke in a calm voice with flat face
Mother and daughter pair didn't expect her to speak up like this.
Elder Xue and Father Xue came towards them
Tingyi faked her tears and ran to Elder Xue
"Grandpa, I was asking her whereabouts out of concern, but she is hurting me with her words."
Elder Xue didn't respond to Xue Tingyi, he looked in the direction of Xue Nuan
"Xiao Nuan, Where did you go without informing us? We were worried about you?"
"YeYe, I went to temple in the mountains to offer my prayers before marriage. On the way back, car got some issues due to heavy rain. I got help and reached Xue mansion finally"
Grandfather's heart melted straight on the first word 'YeYe' itself.
"What do you mean by car got issues? Who was the person who helped you?" Deng Ling asked with anger to Xue Nuan
"Enough everyone, I don't want anyone to speak more about this. She went to temple and now she is back safe & Sound. That's all it matters for me."
Elder Xue spotted the Xue Nuan getting down from the car and he also noticed the person inside. He didn't want it disclose it anyone including Nuan. All he wants is that 'His favorite granddaughter should have happy life"
Elder Xue looked at Xue Nuan and said
"Xiao Nuan, Go freshen up, pack your bags and get ready. Elder Zi has arranged a hotel accommodation near the Marriage Venue. You father already spoken to your best friend Liu Huang, She will join you over there."
