Capítulo 142: Familiar Voice

The entire group ran for their lives, feeling the shaking ground with every step on the rock table. Behind them was a devastating view. Every house violently shattered with every blow the giant soldier made with its mace. But his steps were slow as he went on a rampage with no clear aim.

Xinyi looked around as they ran, thinking on how to solve their problem. But the familiarity she felt bugged her. It was the feeling of someone she knew but didn't know who. Then she heard a soft female voice calling, "Over here."

She spun her head left and right but didn't know where the voice came from. Then heard it again. "Go over the edge of the table." The voice came from her right. 

"Guys, I think…," unsure how to explain she was hearing someone unseen. "Let's try heading to the edge of the table." she said, finger pointing to the edge where the mummified man was thrown.
