Rito's fist barely scratched Garou's cheek, leaving a red mark as his gut was brutally punched by this considerate senpai of his.
"Oh? You can finally touch me. You're definitely improving."
Coughing, Rito used all his strength to stay on his foot but refrained from letting out a sassy remark. Wasting your energy in the spars against Garou-senpai and Bang-sensei is definitely advised against.
"Still got some fuel left? You'd think that the entrance exam would've been hard enough to sap some of your strength..."
Garou muttered and immediately took action while Rito fell into passive once again. Each of Garou's punches and kicks removed the speckle of arrogance and smugness that Rito had gained after almost defeating a top Tiger-Level threat.

"Those punches... they were harder than before. What happened Garou-senpai? You anxious?"
Sprawled on the reinforced floor of the dojo, Rito took deep breaths as he gazed at the half-naked man performing hand-stand push-ups.
"Ha? You got it wrong, kid. This was my farewell present."
Rito chuckled and wiped the blood leaking from the corner of his mouth.
"Aww, senpai, don't tell me you think that my entrance in UA would mean that I will leave the dojo, do you?"
"It's not your farewell, you hardhead! It's mine. From tomorrow, I won't be coming to the dojo."
Garou spoke with a slightly lost tone.
"Eh?"
Rito immediately sat up as he felt his head throbbing once again.
Sitting down, Garou smiled at Rito and spoke with quite a smug tone himself.
"I am taking my training to the next level. So, yeah, you won't be seeing me around. Not for a while."
"Well, it is good, too. I mean, you would wear my ears off if I did enter into UA and become a hero."
"Of course, Heroes are overrated."
Garou chuckled and stood up before disappearing from the hall.
"Wow... not even a proper goodbye."
Rito muttered as he slowly dragged his body to get patched up by his master.
***
"Heee? For real?"
Rito smiled cheekily as he sat on the couch right next to Mikan and nudged her shoulder, making her pout in annoyance.
"Yeah, for real! Eve-chan is a very nice friend! The whole class loves her."
She spoke with a huff before looking at Rito.
"What about you? You haven't mentioned your entrance exam at all."
Rito shrugged and slumped back.
"I don't mean to brag, but... I think I may be the best one out there."
"Says the guy with his face swollen enough to shame a pig."
Mikan countered and Rito stood up with a sigh.
"I knew it. Nobody cares about natural talent. Did you know that I am not quirkless?"
Mikan's face immediately turned towards Rito as she ignored the drama on the television and immediately stood up on the couch, reaching the same eye-level as Rito.
"For real?"
"Yup!"
Rito immediately picked Mikan in his arms and threw her in the air before catching her in a princess carry.
"It's not confirmed officially, but I definitely have a quirk."
As he spoke, he spun his body around and gave Mikan's body a spin, too. Stopping after her continuous complaints, Rito let her stand on the couch once again as she glared at him and asked out.
"So? What is your quirk? Unparalleled Recklessness?"
"Hehe, I think it is related to some kind of telepathy..."
Rito royally ignored Mikan's sarcasm and revealed his discoveries.
"Telepathy?"
Mikan frowned and sat on her couch while she muted the drama on the television.
"Why do you think it is telepathy?"
Rito sat on the table in front of the couch and explained the whole situation.

Meanwhile, in the master's chamber, Bang looked at the kowtowed Garou with unknown emotions dwelling in his experienced gaze.
"Garou... are you sure? Mastering Ki is something deemed to be impossible in the current era. Even I—"
"Old Man!"
Garou looked up and matched Bang's gaze with his own confident one and grinned widely.
"Just you wait. All this time, you wanted a student that could surpass you, right? Well, you at least got one, so just wait.
When I return, I won't be the same."
Sighing audibly, Bang rubbed his eyes and threw a small booklet at Garou.
"This is some pointers left by your predecessors, you foolish disciple."
"Thank you... Sensei."
Garou spoke lightly before disappearing from the room. Taking another deep sigh, Bang sat on the ground with his calves beneath his thighs and gazed at the spot where Garou kowtowed with a blank look.
"Geez, kid... even at the end, you decided to mask your emotions. You could've at least said goodbye."
He muttered in the empty room as the memories of him teaching Garou and the fact that he still had two more disciples to train kept the old man going.

"You are saying that you actually communicated with the victim before he turned into a mysterious creature and not the mysterious creature himself?"
Mikan muttered and found the crux of the matter.
"Why don't you try your quirk on me? It could resolve a lot of unsettling issues that could help you discover your quirk's limitations?"
She proposed while Rito nodded after thinking for a while.
"Okay, let try it once again."
Rito focused his intent and looked into Mikan's eyes as she matched his gaze, looking at his swollen face while trying to keep her smirk under control.
'Don't laugh at me!'
Rito tried to send his thoughts as he suddenly heard a burst of laughter inside his mind.
'Geez, I am sorry, Oni-chan, but it is way too hard!' Mikan's voice was transferred over as she continued.
'Either way, who told Oni-chan to always go in the dojo and get beaten while I always wait for you and cook you awesome food filled with all sorts of emotions?!
Hmph!'
Rito frowned as he could see confusions flash in Mikan's eyes.
"Are you even trying to use your quirk? I can't feel anything!"
She spoke with a visible pout as Rito tried his theory once again.
"Say, Mikan, what are your thoughts on bathing with your Oni-chan?"
He spoke out loud, but surprisingly, he got different responses.
Mikan immediately frowned and spoke while giving him a sidelong glance.
"It's so-so. And what's with 'Oni-chan'? You are just stupid Rito!"
She huffed and crossed her arms while Rito's mind heard a burst of a giggle.
'I love baths with Oni-chan! After all, your body is so muscular and—'
Before the voice could finish, Rito's forehead was flooded with sweat and he immediately focused on 'cutting-off' the connection.
"Hey, what happened? You look pale? Want to take a warm bath?"
Mikan asked with a frown and touched his head with a worried expression.
"Uh... bath? I-I don't think that I'll ever bath again in my life."
Rito immediately avoided her touch and stood up. Just now, he felt like he couldn't trust the world anymore.
"Staying dirty for the rest of life? Rito? Are you really okay?"
Mikan stood up on her toes and looked at Rito in a suspicious manner.
'Alright, one last confirmation.'
Rito thought as he determined his heart and mind to believe that the previous words stated inside of his head were an illusion.
"Before we do anything, tell me what you think about my training."
Mikan shook her head and immediately took an angry posture with her hands crossed beneath her budding curves.
"Like I keep on complaining about! You need to stop that stupid training of yours!"
She glared while Rito concentrated, trying to hear something else.
'If you could, please stop your training. Honestly, it really hurts me seeing you get hurt so much.'
A worried voice was transferred over to his head, confirming his speculations.
"Yeah... I think, I'll just lie down. Today's been rough."
Rito muttered and left the clueless Mikan in the living room, walking towards his bedroom on the first floor.
Slumping on the bed with his face facing the mattress, he felt extremely tired.
"Who would've thought that I would have such an evil quirk. Getting into the minds of others and learning their true thoughts... this isn't telepathy... well, I don't know what to call it. I do know one thing.
This quirk ain't good for a hero aspiring student with a passionate heart like me."
Rito muttered as he still felt the illusion of Mikan's voice inside his mind, complimenting his body.
Sighing, a small smile escaped his lips.
"Well, my body did get its due recognition."
He was aware that his body was quite well-built due to all his training. Even though he wasn't buff and couldn't compare to his senpai in the muscle-power section, Rito was confident in his own aesthetic image.

"I'm telling the truth! Please believe me! I cannot use my quirk at all! I had it before the entrance exam, but now, I don't!
Please, you have to help me!"
A distraught student slammed his fist on the reception table while the teachers of the UA Highschool looked at him with varied expression.
"Make way."
Shota Aizawa, the principal, came through and looked at the student.
"Now...
Tell me everything from the beginning."
As the student explained the situation, everyone looked at Eraserhead with a grim expression while a peculiar set of teachers from the same batch couldn't help but recall some rather unpleasant memories.
so.... what do you think of this tsun mikan?
not annoying
at least, not after this quirk.
