Katherine Remes' POV

I don't know what came over me last night. The last thing that I know was I was in bed and I was looking at the ceiling. The man that I wanted to be was not having any feeling for me. I will not cry. I should not cry but a single tear did come down onto my cheek.

I touched it as I was mesmerized by this tear. I don't know why but when I broke up with Chris I never felt like this. I cried, of course, but I never felt like my heart was being ripped into ten thousand pieces. Why should this man be any different?

"Because I wanted it to be the right way. I will not be one of the men that took pleasure in the sport. I wanted you to be mine, forever," his word echoed into my eardrum as I was looking at the ceiling. I did not know what to do afterward. Should I laugh? Should I shout in happiness? I sighed before Kelly stepped inside my room.
