Capítulo 142: The Story Weaver

Ethan had brought the pair of them to his world; in the same place, Mulok was waiting.

"It's about time you two made it in here!" Mulok yelled with his scaley arms crossed. Ethan was clutching his leg as Alaric looked at it.

"You'll be fine, it was just a graze, and since it was an energy round, the heat cauterized the wound. There's no bleeding, and there should be no infection."

Ethan breathed out through clenched teeth, "yeah, still hurts like hell, though."

Alaric sighed, "I guess King Frederick did say we might get some scratches."

Mulok raised his arms above his head, "excuse me! Aren't either of you going to tell me what happened? Or am I supposed to guess on my own?"

Alaric explained what happened, about the offer that the king made, and what he wants them to do. Mulok sat and waited patiently for Alaric to finish before saying, "what kind of idiotic king is that?! He acts like he doesn't care about power at all!"
