Lin Lihua studied her niece's expression. Was she disapointed that Katy had wronged her, or was she in denial?
"She really didn't? Why would you think that she did anyway?"
Katy Blanc had just left her room, intending to follow Lu Meili. She overhead Lin Lihua's words just as she arrived.
"Aunt, I really didn't. Meili must have misunderstood something." Although what Lu Meili said did not accuse her of anything, she knew that the girl didn't actually trust her. Is she did, qhe wouldn't have looked at her with that hateful expression.
Lu Meili knew that if she produced the evidence she had in their presence, Henry Blanc and Lin Lihua would definitely punish Katy.
If she had indeed framed her, she would have deserved it. However, she was not entirely sure about it herself. What if it was really a misunderstanding? It would be best if they sorted it out personally.
