"Father, did we really need these other two just to take down some thugs?" Damien asked Batman as he put his binoculars away.
"Damien, do not underestimate Diaz and his men. Word on the street is that he has a big backer." Batgirl said chuckling to herself.
Batgirl and Damien would always bicker among themselves whenever they were out on missions together. They were however, very close, but every once in a while Batgirl still finds ways to tease Damien.
To others, they would seem to always bicker and complain, but in reality they were as close as a brother and sister would be. This goes to show how close the Bat family truly was to a real family rather than just a super hero team consisting of four members.
"Nightwing, do you copy?" holding the receiver located under his mask, Batman spoke in a whisper but loud enough for Damien and Batgirl to hear as well.
"Roger that Bruce, I was able to take out two of the guards in the back and just finished hiding them to the side. Are you ready to proceed?" Nightwing asked over the receiver. This was how the Bat family communicated among each other on missions such as this.
"Nightwing, do not go inside of the warehouse yet. I need you to be our eyes out here in case we are unable to capture Diaz and his crew." Batman said over the receiver before continuing.
"Damien, Batgirl, we are going to split up here. Batgirl you take out those three guards blocking the bay door where their truck is. Damien, you are with me. Do not engage Diaz and his crew until I say so."
After giving his orders, Batman and the team got into their positions before acting. Nightwing quickly ran back to his motorcycle before finding a place close enough to keep a close watch on the entire warehouse without giving out his position.
"What the-" immediately Batgirl made her move and punched one of the guards right on the face. Instantly knocking him out, the other two guards were still alerted immediately and started to aim their guns towards her.
"Ah!" after just a moment, two batarangs disarmed them leaving some bloody marks on each of the guards hands before one of them was kicked by a ferocious kick by Batgirl.
As this was all happening, Batman and Damien jumped into the warehouse before the man with the large physique could even order his men to open fire onto them.
Dodging the bullets of those who were able to act fast enough, Batman ran to the left of the warehouse, while Damien ran towards the right side of the warehouse. Both began trying to take out both the workers and the men who were carrying pistols.
"What is the use of having so many men under us, if none of them could properly aim their guns?" the man with the large physique thought as he heard footsteps coming from the door behind him.
"Bubba, what is all of this noise I am hearing all of the way from my office?" walking out from behind the door was Diaz and the rest of the men who escorted him.
"Boss, you should get out of here!" Bubba called out before quickly turning back towards the workers to make sure there was still enough distance between Diaz and Batman for him to successfully escape.
