Capítulo 2: Chapter 2: An incomplete past
Ophelia's school life was kind of like the sort that you wouldn't want to visit. Vanderpump Prep: the school that had a full history of horrors and tricks. Her friends were mostly freaks who had special talents so that it could result in killing people. Teachers who had mostly worried about the education of the students rather than their well-being. She only had two friends though, Haruka and Cindy, as they were very specific about the groups of students that were suitable for each other, the teachers had asked them in her first year to look after her otherwise she would be someone's next victim.
Cindy was a trained blood surgeon who would be able to take demonstrations in brain transplants for those students who wanted to be smart. Haruka, on the other hand, was a sort of person who was really outgoing and acted in a sort of gay way. She specified in plants and spiritual healing as her parents were very strict about her school life but she didn't care about what her parents thought about her. They were both spoilt by their parents but they had very little training in maths class.
They both took Ophelia to the girls' toilets and they wanted her to perform a ritual that they had been taught by their parents. She did not take it lightly as the words were very unpleasant and weren't really words that would be said out loud as they're very religious. Ophelia repeated this three times and with that, Haruka and Cindy didn't really want to look at Ophelia and they fled like two cats being chased by angry dogs.
Ophelia didn't want to alarm anyone but she looked at herself through a mirror and she thought "Why did I have to do this? My anxiety is building up so much", she said quietly as she was trying to contain herself from what had just happened.
Haruka and Cindy wanted to tell each and every pupil in the school but they wouldn't believe them, would they? Teachers would try to calm them down but they were just wanting to pour out as much information as they could. Now, with Haruka being gay she tried her best to talk to another girl that she had feelings for and she had been dreaming about this person for a long time. But, what happened was that she didn't have the guts to speak to her so she tried with a spell that would make her feel more courageous.
Meanwhile, Ophelia was in a terrible state. She wanted to run away and never come back, she even tried to turn herself back into human form but nothing was happening. She might have to stay like this forever but she was going to find a way sooner or later...

Michaela_Horsley I thought that this chapter would be filled with more ideas and characters so that the main protagonist wouldn't feel alone for the rest of the novel.
