"I...I need..to go!"
With a look of full of disappointment, Duan Chengyu had to release his helper from his arms, watching as she resumed her conversation with her boyfriend.
"Where are you?"
"I'm at a cafe, I'll text you the address. I'll be waiting for you outside."
"What does he want to tell me?"
Despite wondering what her ex-boyfriend wanted to discuss with her, Liu Rachael could not bring herself to press him to say what he had to tell her on the phone.
"I'll see you then."
It was after the call ended, that was when Liu Rachael turned to face her boss.
"Chairman Duan, I'm sorry, but I'll be leaving. See you at home."
"Miss Liu, let me drop you off."
The two kept gazing at each other, as they fought the longing within their heart.
"I don't want to inconvenience you."
"It's okay Miss Liu, you're not a bother."
"I'm sorry..but I have to go alone. I don't want anymore misunderstanding! Please!"

Sighing in defeat, Duan Chengyu watched as the distance between him and his helper kept increasing, until he could no longer see a trace of her shadow.
