Capítulo 50: You are very handsome 50

When we arrived at the Castle I had to be briefed on the operations. I send a guard to show my two employees to my room.
After A short meeting with the head of the gaurds I ran into Jillian.
"It's good to see you Ax." She said.
"I glad I ran into you. I have a meeting with the Old Commander. Can I ask you a favor?"
"Anything for you." She says.
"Good, Can you find a few dresses for a girl of 12 but she looks to be 8. She is small. And men's cloths that would fit you. Take them to my room. Tell Lae and Daisy to have baths and put the clean cloths on and I'll be back later."
"Who are they?" She asked looking puzzled.
"I think they are my strings of fate. I'll tell you more later. I really need to be at this meeting."
"Ok no problem."
I head over and go over everything about the prison and the prisoners it held. He suggested that I try out my powers and keep note of those it does not work on.
After a few hours I head back to my living quarters. It is very spaces. Bigger then I really need but I now had a family to take care of.
Lillian told me "Ax the strings of fate will intangel you with your true love and a new family will be formed. You just needed to have patience. Your true love will need to open his eyes to except your loving heart."
Could Lae be my true love. Only time and patience will tell.
As I walk over to one of the rooms I find Lae has placed his bag in this room. He must be bathing now for the room was empty.
I went to the next room to find it locked. I knock. "Daisy are you in there?"
'Yes, but Lae said to stay here till he is finished.'
"Ok, do as your brother says."
I walk over to my room and find my things sitting. I hate unpacking.
Then I hear the door to the bathing room open.
A young handsome man walked out. His long raven black hair is tied behind him. His dark brown eyes seem to shine. My heart starts to race. The cloths fit him better but are a little big. He has a nice figure.
He sees me and asked something my mind takes a minute to register it.
"Do I look bad?" he asked.
"No... You are very handsome. I'll make sure to get you better cloths. Did your Sister get cleaned up too?"
He shook his head.
"I guess we need to talk about your duties here. Can you ask Daisy to come out?" I say trying to clear my mind and steady my heart.
He walks over and knocks, "Daisy come out now."
The door opened. She is a very pretty girl. Her hair is dark but lighter then her brothers. Her eyes was the same.
I go to the desk and pick up a ribbon.
"Sit in this chair Daisy and let me fix your hair." I say.
I pick up a comb and get the tangles out. Then braid her hair and tie it up.
'Thank you. How do you know how to do this?' She asked.
"I had to help my sister all the time with her hair." I say.
I see Lae touch his hair.
"Lae, want me to fix your hair too?" I ask.
"No, I just think I need to cut it a little and was wondering if you could help with that." He says.
"I can. I had to cut the rabbit's hair all the time. I can do yours too."
"I'm not a rabbit. What is our jobs going to be?"
"Daisy, your job will be to keep all of the rooms here clean. Taking our laundry to the laundry area, and bringing our meals up from the kitchen. Someone will help you the meals. Can you do that?" I ask her.
'Yes, I am good at cleaning. Do I do the whole Castle?' She smiled.
"No just these five rooms."
I then turn to Lae. Even now my breath is taken away. "Lae, Can you read and write?"
"Yes, I am not stupid. A good thief needs to be able to read."
"Your are no longer a thief. You are my assistant. Your job will be to help me with anything needed and to take notes when needed."
"Sounds Ok" he said.
"In a few days we will ride into town and get you both some better cloths." I say but then there was a knock on the door.
I open it and two maids bring in food and place it on the table.
"I guess it's time to eat." I say.
Lae and Daisy's eyes get big looking at the food.
I remind them that they need to eat with manors and take their time.
"When was the last time you had a meal?" I ask.
"Two maybe three days ago. I stole a meat pie for us." Lae said. "This is really good."
My heart broke. I turn to Daisy, "Do you like your room?"
'Yes, it is very pretty.' She smiled at me and I wanted to give her more pretty things.
As we finished eating another Knock came. This time it was Jillian.
"I came to see how the cloths fit?" She said.
"Not bad still a little big but we will get better ones in a few days. Jillian I would like you to meet Daisy and Lae. They will be living with me from now on as part of my family." He then turns to Daisy and Lae, "This is my best friend. She is like my sister, Jillian. If you need any help she is a good one to ask."
"I came to help you unpack. I know you hate it." Jillian said.
"Thanks but I have two helpers now. Jillian can you tell the maids to send someone over that can clear the dishes and help Daisy."
I am puzzled at how both Lae and Daisy are a little standoffish to Jillian.
"Sure, Ax can I talk to you for a second in private?" she asked.
"Sure follow me." I take Jillian into my room. "What's wrong?"
