Capítulo 22: Cliff Jump [Max]
As my men report they have captured everyone I rush over and gather her up in my arms.
Adam collapses into Robert arms. We carry them back to our room were the healers are waiting.
She is still breathing. I fall to my knees and thank the heavens. I can't believe she is still mine.
Robert helps one healer strip and clean up the blood that is all over Adams arms. Then says he will be alright after some rest. He also says to make sure to have him eat some heavy broth to help recovery.
A maid and the other healer strip and clean Beth up. It takes everything I got not to punch the healers for touching her. I know he has to help her. They bandaged her eyes.
"Why are you doing that?" I ask.
"To help ease her eye sight back. She lost a lot of blood around the eyes I don't want her to strain them when she wakes up." He says.
They hook her up to a blood bag and then clear fluids. I can do nothing but wait.
The commander enters and asked if I want to see the prisoners.
I walk down to the holding cells.
"I never thought this day would come so soon." I say.
"How? Her powers do not work on me. How?" The Duke yelled.
"Her powers did not work. But their power combined did."
"What do you mean their powers?" The Duke grabbed the bars of the cell.
"Your nephew's power plus you niece's power combined brought you here."
"I have no nephew this is impossible."
"Your father gave him a way after he was born. She found him a few days ago on her birthday. With his amplify power they had you walk right into my hands and in the morning you shall die." I turn and walk out. I no longer want to hear his voice.
I wait all night by her side but she does not wake up. In the morning I have to leave her for the execution of the Duke and his top men.
"Stand watch and don't leave her side" I tell the guard. Saundra was still out there and I don't want the second vision to come to pass.
The execution goes off with no problem and I head back to our room. The guard is lying on the floor dead and Elizabeth is gone.
I failed to keep her and our child safe.
"I need everyone out looking for Beth. Saundra has taken her. Surch everywhere there are caves. She will take Beth there. If anything happens to Beth I'll kill Saundra with my bare hands so bring her back alive."
I can't loose her, not now.

I wake up but I feel my hands and feet tied. I can't see. I was not blind folded in my vision. How can I tell the right time if I can't see.
"Your awake, good. I want you to see death coming." A womans voice says.
"Take the blindfold off so I can see." I say.
"You have a bandage on your eyes not a blindfold. But I will take it off." She reaches down and I feel the cloth being unwind.
The light is bright as I blink a few times. Then slowly the world comes into focus. I see the woman in green sitting in front of me.
"You must be Saundra." I say.
"Oh so Maximum told you about me and our love?" She said.
"No my brother told me how you drugged and rapped Max then ran away from your punishment." A hand then came across my face. pow...
"We made love, it was a love potion. He just didn't understand but he will take me back once your gone." She smiled.
"How are you going to kill me?" I ask.
"I will push you off a cliff. But I got tired of dragging you so I stopped. Now that you are awake you can walk to the cliff."
"Untie my legs then and I'll walk." I try to stay calm. My sister said I have one shot with my power and I decide it must be used at the cliff.
Saundra untied my feet and helped me up. " Don't try anything I could just stab you to death but I think seeing your mangled body would be better."
She pushes me up the slope of the Mountain till we are on the side of a great cliff.
"Now jump please" She says.
"Can you untie my hands first." I ask.
"You are really rather bothersome you know." She says as she untied my hands then I push 'Jump off the cliff'
It seemed to be in slow motion. Saundra walked to the cliff and jumped right off. She didn't even scream. I moved back to the wall afraid to even look down.
I never wanted to use my power to kill other person but I had to protect my children for the good of the people.
I then start back down the path of the mountain. I am weak but must push on. How long was I asleep for and which way do I go to find home.
When I get to the bottom and into the forest It is late so I make a fire and rest. I know I need to eat but my power is to weak to make food come to me. So I sleep.
I wake the next morning and keep moving. I stumbled and fall. My hands and knees are scratched and bruised. I come to a stream. I try to push for fish but I am still to weak.
So I try the hard way and soon I catch a small one. I make a fire and eat. It was not very good but it gave me the nourishment I need.
I decided to stay here for awhile. I am just so very tired.
I fall into a deep sleep and pray I am found soon or I still may die.
