Capítulo 18: Jewelry of love [Max]
As I wake to the morning sun I look down at the boyish figure laying in my arms. She is so beautiful. I know last night was goodbye and I would honor her sacrifice.
I ease out of bed and gather my cloths to leave. I place one last kiss on her lips then leave.
I pause at the door before closing it and going to my room.
Just as I collapse on my bed Adam knocks on my door.
"Enter." I say.
"Hey, is everything alright. I noticed you stayed with her last night. Does that mean you're going to be my brother-in-law?" Adam asked.
"No we were just saying good bye for now. Maybe when this is all over we can be together then." I say.
"Oh, I was hoping... never mind I really do understand." He said.
"So was I... so was I."
"So what time are we going to go over the plan?" Adam ask.
"After lunch today. Lets say around 2. Can you ask Robert to come see me I need to discuss something with him."
"Sure I'll tell him. See you later." Adam left and once again I'm all alone.
I get up and shower and choose comfortable clothes for the day. I head for the study and run into Robert heading to see me.
I take him to the Study and tell him everything I learned about Beth.
"This is going to kill him." Robert says.
"I know. That's why I need to tell you so you can be there for him."
"Is there really no other way?" Robert ask.
I just shake my head.
"Ok I'll do my best. When it happens I'll take her to be barried next to my parents. They would of loved her." he said.
"That sounds good. I would love to place her in the family vault but because we can't marry they won't let her. Your family is better and Adam can visit her better there."
He left and I started to make plans for the capture.

I wake up alone in my bed. I look at my body and even though he tried to be gentle because of my ribs I hurt all over.
I will never regret last night and I am glad he did not push for more. I know he is a good kind leader and will do what is best for his people.
I did notice that last night his life force changed. Not only was it peach and gold but now had baby blue and pink waves run through it. It was truly beautiful.
I made my way to clean up. How I wish I could soak in a hot bath but with my ribs being tied up I can only sponge myself off. I dress in a simple dress and head down to eat. Everyone was in the dinning room eating except Max.
Why did I want to see him so bad. Adam leads me to a chair and I join in on the discussion at the table. It felt good to just be apart of something.
After breakfast Robert asked Adam to show me around town and gave him a shopping list of things needed.
As we strolled down the street many people call out to my brother and he introduced me to everyone with a big grin on his face.
I always want to see this side of him. We shop for supplies and come across a stand that sells jewelry. There I found matching bracelets made of copper. One said Brother and the other Sister.
Adam seen me looking at it and walked over. "How much?" He asked the merchant.
"90 Jewels."He said.
Adam took out his bag and paid him then put the bracelet on my arm and I placed the other on his. A tear ran down my cheek.
"Don't cry my big sis. I will always be here for you." Adam said wiping the tear away.
"Thank you. I will treasure it forever." I say throwing my arms around him.
As the noon day sun was high we headed back for lunch. He told me we have a meeting with Max after lunch.
Lunch was ready when we got back and I rushed to show Robert my gift. I could not figure out why Robert looked so sad.
When lunch was over I take a few minutes to take some vegetables to Henry and play with him till the meeting starts.
◇◇◇♡♡♡◇◇◇ [Max]
I worked all morning long and decided on the best plan to take down the Duke so I waited for everyone to gather.
When 2 came I had both my top generals, Captain of the gaurds, Adam, Robert, and Elizabeth in my study.
"Ok, Thank you for coming. As you have been told the Oracle has lead us to Elizabeth and she will be the key to taking down the Duke. I think its best if we do it at Grey Castle. The dungeons there are strong and one battalion will be enough to serve as gaurds. There is enough room to house everyone need.
After we capture them only a few will be executed the rest will be imprisoned."
"How will this small miss be able to capture them." One of the Generals ask.
"I have powers given to me by the gods. With my brothers help all of them will surrender to you." Beth says.
The pride I feel right now is beyond anything I have ever felt.
"So tomorrow the plans is for us to travel to Grey Castle. I want two hundred men. 50 servants and enough supplies to last a month. Grey Castle has 60 sleeping rooms so men will have to be four per room. There are 25 servant rooms so they will be two per room."
Everyone had their orders so they left except Adam, Robert, and Elizabeth.
"Can Robert come with me this time?" Adam asked. Normally on our trips Robert stay back to take care of the house.
"Yes, I need him there this time. We have already talked about it." I say.
"Thank you." Adam took Roberts hand. He always hated leaving him behind.
