Capítulo 84: My new screen saver
Sonal and Prakash after dozing off, soon after, started dreaming their similar dreams, the more they dreamt, the more they both hugged each other tighter. It was evident they never wanted to let go of each other, the more reason why they held each other tight.
Time past, they both woke up panting. Then Sonal said, baby you, you are the guy in my dreams, the one I always dreamt about but never got to see your face, today I finally saw it but our relationship wasn't stable, the major general, my father, always gets in the way each time.
Baby I dream of the same things about us but it was clear to me, that it was you, right from the first day I saw you at Ganga's wedding reception, I was mesmerized by you and I wanted you to be mine. I even got into a fight with Yash, because my ex lover who wanted me badly, spiked my drink.
I call her lover because we never really dated, more like friends with benefits, but she fell in love with me in the process. I will tell you more about my life some other time, same with you but baby please let's go back to sleep, Yash said. Okay baby, Sonal replied. They both fell asleep soon after, and slept peacefully like their couple friends.
It was 4:30am when the couples woke up, like before, the guys allowed the girls to take their baths and dress up, when the girls where done, the guys did same. After everyone got dressed, the guys arranged the office and room to make sure everything remained as it was when they entered.
Then Prakash took out the used tooth brushes and towels to dispose of them. He made sure he did not trash them in the conglomerates but far away from there, he also did the needful of switching off the security cameras before they left and when they were outside the Conglomerates, he switched them back on.
At 5:20 am, the Arora driver had checked out and was waiting for them outside the motel. Prakash drove near him a minute later, turned off the car, came out and handed the car keys over to him. Then he moved to the front seat, while the driver sat in the driver seat and drove them to the old Delhi hospital.
It was 6 am they got to the hospital, just in time for visiting hours, everyone came down, except the driver who had to drive further to the parking lot. Zara's driver had already checked out of the motel, he had parked Zara's car in the hospital's parking lot and was already waiting for them at the hospital reception.
Few minutes later, Ajay and Sagar joined them, greeted namaste to the girls, the girls responded before they focused on Prakash and Pulkit. After the pleasantries with the guys, they acknowledge Zara's driver, then they asked Zara how her mum was.
Oh she is much better now, thank you she replied, hopefully today we would know when she would be discharged, Zara responded. That is great news, Sagar said. I pray she gets discharged soon, in the mean time, Sagar and I will go get Jasmine discharged, Ajay said.
Zara and I will check up on her mum, but Ajay before you go, I think it would be better you take Pulkit with you instead of Sagar considering the incidence at the base. Major General should be here any minute, Prakash please stay in the reception with Sagar and when Dad comes, Please don't even look at me.
Sonal has a point, Sagar agreed with Sonal's decision. Alright we would be in the lobby, Prakash said. So Sonal and Zara went to check up on Zara's mum while Ajay and Pulkit went to discharge Jasmine.
As for Zara's mum, the doctor advised she stayed there for at least 5 days to get proper rest, he then prescribed some medicines and handed the list to Zara to get them. Her mum was awake now.
Zara handed the list to her driver who had used his initiative to go with them, and also give him rupees to buy the medicines from the pharmacy in the hospital. Zara and Sonal then proceeded inside Zara's mum hospital room for a visit.
The nurse was busy with her duties, checking Zara's mum pulse, after she was done, she encouraged Zara's mum to eat up the food in front of her, few minutes later, the driver came, knocked then entered the room, he handed the medicines to Zara, greeted Zara's mum, and exited the room.
Zara in turn gave the medicines to the nurse who took out the required morning dose and placed it in the medicine saucer for Zara's mum to drink after she was done eating. She kept the remaining medicines aside and encouraged Zara's mum to take it. She then excused herself and left the room to check up on other patients.
Jasmine kept on looking at her door as the nurse packed her things in a bag, she was already dressed and ready to leave the hospital. Prakash had already signed the discharged papers, he was in there with her while Pulkit sat down in the long bench outside her room.
She looked for a while then asked, brother Prakash, please did Sonal come with you to discharge me? Sonal and Zara are here, but Jumpa, she should probably be heading straight to work, Ajay replied.
Zara is here too! But where are they? I don't see any of them. Zara's mum collapsed yesterday, but she is much better now, so Zara and Sonal are currently paying her a visit. Don't worry lil sis, you will see them soon, but Pulkit is outside, Prakash and Sagar are at the reception.
And one other thing Jas, the guys and I are heading back to base today, the major general, somehow appeared in town and has asked us to fly back to base with him apparently because of important matters of the state.
But Big bro Ajay I don't want you to go just yet, everyone at home travelled to Saudi Arabia because of Cousin Satish's wedding. And you were supposed to stay here for a week, not 2 days and leave the 3rd day, Jasmine responded with a sad face.
Jass please cheer up, my hands are tied, please promise me you would take care of yourself, Sonal is here, she would also look after you, and maybe Zara too. You can still call the base, if you want to speak to me.
Okay big bro Ajay, I promise to take care of myself, am a strong woman, I won't allow my ex get the better of me anymore, Jasmine replied but with difficulty. It was bad enough she did not want her brother to go back to base so soon, now she has used her own mouth to remember Rohit, whom she is trying to forget with his bad memories.
The nurse handed over Jasmine's bag to Prakash, alright lil sis let's go, Ajay said. As they were exiting the room, they both thanked the nurse. The nurse then sent for the cleaners with the intercom to come clean up and tidy the room.
Ajay and Jasmine exited the room, Pulkit was glad to see Jasmine well and ready to go home, he greeted her, she greeted him as well. They three of them then proceeded to go to the reception.
Prakash looked at his wrist watch, if was already 6:25 am, the major general should be here any moment he mentioned to Sagar. Yes, his a 6:35am kind of man, Sagar made a joke out of it, they both laughed. Then Prakash excused himself. Alright buddy, I will be waiting, just come back soon okay, Sagar urged.
Alright Buddy, Prakash replied and made his way to find Zara And Sonal. Zara and Sonal were already done and were on their way back to the reception when they saw Prakash. Sonal smiled and said to him, you were supposed to wait with Sagar.
Zara smiled too, and teased him by saying lover boy. Anything for my girl, Prakash said, then he asked, how is your mum now?. She is much better and should be discharged 5 days from now, the doctor advised, so she can rest well, Zara replied.
Good news, but please may I talk with Sonal while you go ahead to the reception? Prakash asked. Oh please by all means, please go ahead, I will going now, Zara replied. Thanks girl, Sonal mentioned to Zara, Zara left.
Sonal and Prakash stopped and sat on the bench, immediately they sat, they both looked into their eyes lovingly, Prakash then took Sonal by the hand, they stood up and secretly went inside the store room beside them.
Immediately they got inside, Prakash locked the door, and they both locked their lips, love was in the air, They kissed for 5 minutes before their lips parted, they panted and caught their breaths back. Prakash lovingly said to Sonal, I love you so much Sonal.
Baby I will come back, I will never abandon you no matter the circumstances surrounding our relationship, always remember that. Sonal then said, I love you too Prakash, I love so much as well but you beginning to scare me, by saying you will come back for me, you sound as though you leaving me.
Baby am going back to base with your dad today, infact all four of us guys will be flying back with him because of the urgent and important matters concerning the state. Prakash said.
I was wondering why you all were dressed in your army uniform, I should have guessed. Dad is here in town, and going back to base today, I should have linked all together, Sonal replied. At this point Sonal brought out her phone and took a picture of them together, then she said, my new screen saver.
Baby, you have been mine since the very first day I saw you, Prakash said. Excitedly, Sonal asked really? Yes of course baby, here, Prakash brought out his phone and showed it to her. She responded by saying, but this is blurry, I will just snap another one of both of with your phone, she did just that.
Okay please snap me alone with your phone, he did. She also snapped him alone with her phone. Well this should add to the ones on our social medias. But this will be memorable, Sonal said. Excitedly they kissed again but less than 5 minutes this time, a janitor needed his room. They had to leave when he knocked.
When they came out, Sonal then said, I would go ahead first, you come to the reception later, my dad is already here it's 6:37am, and you know he doesn't tolerate lateness, you would probably receive your punishment as soon as you reach the base.
I will advise you go through the side door and enter through the front door so it looks as if you just arrived. That way, I won't be scolded too. Okay baby, they kissed goodbye and went their separate ways.
Sonal came to the reception, and acted surprised to see her dad, she then greeted him Namaste almost immediately. He immediately asked her where she was when all her friends were already at the reception.
Dad, I went to the ladies, she lied, thankfully her excuse was same as the one Zara had mentioned to the major general just to cover up for her. 5 minutes ago when he came, he had asked about Prakash as well, the guys had said that he was not in the hospital yet, that he was still on his way.
Zara had prayed secretly that her excuse turns out to be same as the one Sonal will give. The guys too had also inwardly Prayed, that Prakash should not get them in trouble as well, they knew his punishment was sure, they sure didn't want to be part of it.
Now back to the present, immediately Sonal answered, Prakash came into the reception through the front doors. He salutes the major general Gevan and apologized for just arriving now and not arriving at the hospital earlier.
The major general Gevan then informed Sonal that he would depart for the army base immediately. But before he left he made sure to tell the girls to take care of themselves and that he wished Zara's mum a quick recovery.
