Capítulo 25: The Same Kind of Sandwich

When the bell rang, Ivy stretched and began putting her things away. Carson thought about her for the first time since class had started. He had been pretty focused on the movie but now he was making his way toward her.

'I hope her headache went away fast on Friday night…it was a bummer we had to cut things short though. She said I could join her in the library sometimes. Maybe I could try and suggest that now?'

"Hey Ivy, are you planning on going to the library today?" he asked.

She smiled at him. "Yep. Want to come with?"

"Sure thing!" Carson said while simultaneously thinking, 'Man, it's a good thing I packed a lunch today just in case. She probably wouldn't wait for me if I had to go to the cafeteria to get food first.'

They made their way to the same hallway she usually ate in and she felt the sweet relief of people's thoughts fading away as they fled toward the cafeteria. She munched on her peanut butter, honey, and banana sandwich contentedly.
