Capítulo 4: THE TEST
7 years ago.
Neo wakes up under a car and looks around and sees no one in town. He comes out of his hiding place and walks around.
"What happened here?" He realizes he's in town and not at his house, "How did I get here?" He round home and sees his house destroyed. He looks panics and throw rock, trying to find his parents under the rubbles but sees none of them.
"Is anyone here!" He yelled.
7 years later.
Neo walks out of the smoke filled restaurant stealthy and Nicole follows.
"How did you get in trouble with district officials?" Nicole asked.
"Lets just say I came into Clanger town illegally and I might have been loud while doing that" he explained.
"There he goes!" an official yelled drawing attention to them.
"I think we should run now" Nicole said, took Neo's hand and they run together.
"It's impossible to escape them" Neo said.
"What makes you say so?" Nicole asked.
"Look ahead" he said and they see soldiers ahead of them and stopped.
"There's only one thing to do" Nicole said.
"And that is?" Neo said.
"If we get to the district 10, the officials have no rights to arrest us what so ever" Nicole explained.
"So you're saying…" Neo said.
"Yeah, we're fighting our way through them" she said and takes out her sword. "You ready yet."
"I'm always ready" he said and his eyes sparked.
Nicole looks at the soldiers and raises her sword. "If I go for a direct attack I might not win but if I start with a strategic attack I might just be able to take them on" she said in her mind.
She charges at them and they shoot arrows at her and she disappears.
"Where did she go?" a guard asked.
"Here" Neo said and blasted them with furious lightning bolts and runs towards the forest leading to district 10 when he is confronted by a man.
"Running never solves anything" Li said.
"Who the hell are you?" Neo asked looking at this strange man.
"I am Li Xia Yen and I am here to bring you before the council, you've caused a lot of troubles lately and I've been called to put you in order" water surrounds him and runs up to his hand to form a sword.
"Looks like I'm going to need more than just my and for this fight" Neo said and his hands spark, lightning forms a sword in his hand.
"I must warn you, I don't go easy on people" Li said raising his sword.
"Neither do I" Neo said and they pause.
Nicole jumps into an alley and guards follow her.
"Dead end" one said.
"Just what I wanted" she smiled cynically, they all look at her, trying to figure out what she'll do next and in the blink of an eye she's behind them. They all pause, no one could move. Her sword disappears. "Nice playing with you guys but I have somewhere to be right now" she walks away.
"What did she do to us?" one asked the person beside him.
"I don't know" he replied.
"Look guys" they all look at the man in front of them and his head falls off.
"SHIT!" they all exclaimed and their heads fall off too and they turn to rocks.
Neo and Li still look at each other and Nicole comes to see them looking at each other and standing like mannequins, at first she was confused but stops to look at them closely, noticing their eyes and body stature when sweat drops from both their foreheads.
"What are they doing?" the district head said as he jumps down a tree.
"They're fighting at an unstable speed, to us it looks like they are still in the same position."
"Do you know this man?" the district head asked Nicole.
"I met him yesterday, why you asking?" She replied him
"He's no ordinary refugee, " the district head said and folds his arm.
"How can you tell?" Nicole asked
"It's easy, he's taking on your brother and he's not dead yet" he explains.
"Should we stop them?" Nicole asked and smiles at her elder brother.
"You killed 10 of my men and you expect to go off the hook, lets enjoy the fight a little" he places his hand on her shoulder and kisses her forehead.
"They were useless anyway, big bro and you know they were fake," she said.
"So what if they were forged by earth, they still mean a lot to me." He replied.
"Okay this fight has gone on for too long, call him off." She ordered her brother and he obeyed.
They both fly to a tree and fall to the ground.
"You've had your fun right, lets go" Neo said to Nicole.
"You knew all this time?" Nicole asked Neo.
"Wasn't it obvious." He said.
"Smart kid, I like this one" Li said.
Moments later.
Neo and Nicole are given supplies and equipment for their journey by Li and Troy.
"I'll miss you guys" Nicole said and hugs both of them.
"We'll miss you too" Troy said and frees himself from her hug.
"We better get back to the district tower before the king notices were gone" Li said.
"Yeah that's true, hey big guy" Troy referred to Neo.
"Yeah" he responded.
"Take care of our little sis okay" Troy said.
"Okay, bye." He said and walks away.
"How do you put up with that attitude?" Li asked Nicole.
"Maybe I'll get used to it, I mean I got used to both of you" she smiled and walks away too.
Troy and Li watch them until they left and decided to go back to the tower.
"I hope she know a what she's doing" Li asked Troy.
"We can only hope for the best to happen" Troy replied and put his hand on his brothers shoulder and they walk away.

In my Two years away from Webnovel, I improved my writing and grammar, so I plan to Revamp this series, start from the beginning again and correct grammar and make the chapters longer: is 2-3k words per chapter okay?
Anyways I'm back and I'm back to stay.
