Capítulo 79: Diamond in The Rough
Galvo's respectful gaze fell on his patron god. His opulence once again dazed him. His delicate face had a contemplative expression, and his golden armor seemed to almost radiate valor even in the dimly lit throne room. Though he had thought that Gilgamesh's summons was urgent, it appeared that he mistook the urgency. Waiting until his idol was ready to speak, he stood quietly in front of the throne as his mind wandered back to the Lady with red eyes he had seen for a flash on his way here.
Despite calling Galvo over, Gilgamesh had forgotten Galvo's presence. He observed something fascinating happening in the city. Quickly pulling his awareness back into his body, he was able to recognize the captain standing before him.
Gilgamesh let out a slight grunt before commanding the captain to gather people to head toward the slum district and that they were to look for a young boy with green hair.
Galvo was confused but did not show it on his face. He trained to follow commands at a young age and promptly shouted, "yes sir," before leaving the throne room to do as his god-king asked.

The boy had woken from his hunger deprived slumber to the sight of the sapphire box lying on his chest to which he let out a small smile. The boy had worked his entire life to steal something of value, but never in his life did he expect to find something so beautiful. He would have never seen it if that lovely lady with red eyes hadn't bragged about and told everyone where they could find it.
It had been too easy to get the box. There were no guards or security measures that would typically protect such a box. Still, the green-haired boy shook his head, not willing to let suspicion sour the only good thing that happened to him in months. The boy got off his makeshift bed. He sat on the stone he used for a chair with the sapphire chest in his hand with his back hunched over. The boy was hesitant to let the box leave his sight, so he kept staring at it.
He tried to open the box and failed even after using all the force he had on his skinny body. The boy did not take long to give up and decided he could try to sell the box itself. The boy threw the box in his bag and started toward the market that was nearby. While the boy was a little afraid he was going to get scammed, he knew he did not have much choice on where to market his stolen goods. If he tried to sell it uptown, the guards arrive in an instant to hall him to jail without a trial. After all, his clothes had tears in them, and his body was too scrawny to be over the variety that buys sapphire boxes legitimately.
Though the green hair boy often had sluggish and labored movement when going from place to place, he began to move in the direction of the slums market district quickly.
When the boy arrived at the market, he noticed the usual noise that accompanied it. There were customers on every corner haggling for prices, slavers selling slaves, snake salesmen selling miracle cures. The boy managed to slip in between the large crowds and made his way toward Jewelers, which held a special place in this district.
The Jewelers had always been one of the most secure places in the slums market district. It had its section at the end of the market place with five stalls that formed a semicircle and a small gap that served as the market places exit. The jewelers had guards that protected their jewelry from any thieves that would be dumb enough to try and steal from them. They managed to make quite the profit from stolen goods that one could only find for low prices in the slums. Afterall the poor in the slums were always desperate for money. Some were willing to do anything to make it.
