It had already been a century since the beginning of Gilgamesh's training. Gilgamesh had learned about different cosmic bodies early into his training. He had seen for himself the earth revolving around the sun. He knew that the earth was round and that he lived in a cosmic cloud swirling around a supermassive black hole.
Gilgamesh's first question when he had begun training with Mavine was where Parthians came from. Gilgamesh had learned the answer to that. They were born before the big bang that started his universe in a universe that came before his own. Gilgamesh was speechless at how such an ancient race could exist.
Gilgamesh's second question what Interstellar time was. Mavine kept mentioning it and so Gilgamesh couldn't help but sate his curiosity. Gilgamesh received the answer that it is a unite of time calculated based on the periodic pulsing of the site of the first big bang which also happened to coincide with the pulsing of the second big bang. They used interstellar time as a measurement of standardized time for everyone not long after they found out how accurate the pulsing was.
Mavine had help Gilgamesh to create many things during his hundred years. He now could create technology that would baffle even the common type 2 civilization. And he learned the basics of how to terraform planets and the like.
One day Mavine was teaching Gilgamesh about how to create kameno multitools, and Gilgamesh managed to recreate its functions correctly his first attempt.
Mavine was supremely surprised at how fast Gilgamesh seemed to learn. Things that took Parthian children hundreds of years to learn seemed to take seconds for the Gilgamesh. It was almost as if he had a repository of knowledge downloaded into his head.
Gilgamesh sat on the Balkoney of Mavine's massive obsidian castle meditating as he had been for four months already. It was Gilgamesh's most prolonged seclusion training in the entire 100 years he had been training. As Gilgamesh sat on the obsidian peacefully, the sound of lava crackling underneath him could be heard, and the smell of sulfur was in the air. Creatures that living in lava swam though the planet's rivers. Birds born on distant lava planets flew over head.
Gilgamesh seemed to be entirely at peace and concentrating on comprehending the laws of creation until something clicked into place. Gilgamesh woke up, and his copper eyes looked out into the Lava world with a new understanding of its composition. Gilgamesh looked at his pocket dimension, which was still very unstable. The one thing all Parthians needed was time to create their pocket dimensions. It would not be fully mature until a very long period passed.
Gilgamesh's powers were still growing. His pocket dimension was still somewhat formless but now had grown to be the size of a planet twice that of earth.
It had already been a hundred years since Gilgamesh foot on earth. Gilgamesh looked out into the volcanic world and missed his greener home. Gilgamesh kept looking out until somehow he saw past a dimensional vale and onto the Earth. With his Powerful eyes, he could see everything that was happening on its surface until he lost focus, and the Vale closed again.
Gilgamesh was confused as to what he had seen but try as he might he could not do it again. Mavine, who was observing Gilgamesh after he had opened the vale, was shocked. How could her student become so powerful in such a short period? She wondered about the kind of monster she was teaching.
Subjects that would have to confound Parthian children for centuries were natural to Gilgamesh. Mavine initially thought Gilgamesh would take a thousand years to learn how to become as powerful as a full-grown Parthian. Normal Parthian took millions of years to learn how to become a powerful god-like being. Gilgamesh seemed like he was going to learn how to become part of the dominant species in only a few centuries
