Jake and other engineers managed to fix the ships. The fleet commander gave the order for the vessel to return to the techno-world immediately. The Xuhan council informed the commander that the Parthian murdered the Xuhan elders through communications arrays. The commander did quick work to inform the crew of their tragic loss.
The commander's grim voice came through the intercom to his crew's hearing pieces, "I regret to inform the crew of what was sent to me by the Xuhan council. That our illustrious Xuhan elders have become part of the information field, their knowledge and thinking paths will be preserved."
The crew was shocked. An Elder had not had an unnatural death in over a million interstellar years. Most stopped what they would do without their guidance to unite the Technoworld. Jake had seen the elder's projection disappear but believed them to be still alive.
Jake suddenly felt a connection to a presence that he instinctually knew was on the surface and heard a voice echo in his head. An image of Calvis presented itself in all its divine glory and transmitted information into Jake's mind. Jake knew what he must do. He turned to the command center, where several guards tried to stop him. Just as Jake was about to force his way past them, the commander allowed him to pass.
Jake walked to the commander, a man named Thomas. Thomas was a tall man with dark eyes and dirty blonde hair. Jake took a breathe and told him what the Parthian had said as concisely as possible though his voice still held audible tremors. The ship suddenly changed course and turned towards a particular point on the planet that had projected into Jake's head.
The commander did not believed Jake when he initially came to him. Jake told him he knew where Calvis was. Thomas knew enough about the situation that such a thing could be possible. There was a possibility that they could communicate with the Parthian and prevent further bloodshed. The commander knew he had to take a chance.
The commander received reports that the Alphas that had been running rampant, killing their people. At shield control stations and the pocket space, Xuhans lay slaughtered, frightfully strong Alphas stopped and retreated to the same location that Jake had told him to land. This event only made him more sure that the Parthian had truely sent the message to Jake.
The flag-ship landed several miles away from the main horde of Alphas. The commander was told by the Xuhan council to wait for reinforcements. Before the ship had truely settled on the surface, the air vibrated. Jake, who was still on the command deck near the commander, was transported away with a flash of light, shocking the commander and the officers on the commanders' deck.
