Capítulo 38: Must be crazy

"Is that what it seems like?" Miyeon asked before adding, "If that's what you want to assume, then sure. But I am sure you know more than me that Soobin has no such interest towards me."

Lee Minjae scoffed, and extending his hand towards Miyeon, he patted the top of her head. Miyeon stared at him with a bored expression on her face, waiting for him to speak up.

"You are really too naive, Miyeon-ah. You don't know how all the men are wolves and especially the elite ones. Min Soobin might act all the proper, but you don't know what intentions he might have towards you," he said— showing concern in her tone.

Curving her lips to form a smile on her face, Miyeon clapped both of her hands together and spoke out, "Alright, I have given your words a thought, and it seemed that you are right. All men are wolves, and I should not let them easily enter into my apartment."

A bright glint appeared in Lee Minjae's eyes as those words left her mouth, and he nodded his head.

"That's why, Lee Minjae, hand me over my keys. Since you are a man, you must be a wolf as well, and it is too dangerous to let you have the key. You understand, right? I am just a weak girl," Miyeon vocalised.

"Geez! You are really putting me together with those man! Look, Miyeon, I am not same as them," he voiced out.

"Oh! What is it that? Could it be that you are not a man or could it be that your interest doesn't lie for the women? If that's the case, then I can let you have the key. You just have to admit it. Don't worry! I won't let anyone know about this. I am really good at keeping secrets," Miyeon said, staring at Minjae with a serious expression.

A sigh escaped from Minjae's mouth as he spoke out, "Fine, you win this time. I will not speak about any nonsense in front of him, but in return of that, you will not allow Min Soobin to enter into your apartment again."

"As if he would want to show up in front of my apartment again," Miyeon mumbled.

Extending her hand towards him, Miyeon gripped on to his shoulder and pushed him away slightly before opening the door.

Before walking out through the door, she turned her head to face Minjae, and after sticking out her tongue at him, she voiced out, "You are not my father; I don't have to listen to you. If it is not Min Soobin, I will bring many more other men to this apartment."

Without giving Lee Minjae a chance to say anything, she turned her back on him and began to walk towards the living room. Seeing her figure which was getting distant from him, a chuckle escaped from his mouth.

"I must be crazy to feel jealous over him after such a long time," Minjae spoke out.
