"How could she be so stupid? Utterly stupid," my mind became chaotic once more. Deo's report clung to my mind more than what Mr. Fung did.
"Of course she'd do that. For all she knew, Derick has helped her family a lot. Why don't you just tell her the truth? Tell her it was you."
"Then what?" I looked lividly at Deo. "She'd knew who I really am. No way."
"Do you want to wait until something bad happens to her?"
The sound of a message pinged in the tablet Deo was holding and he stared back at me as if he received something I don't want to know about.
"Speaking of the devil, Derick wants to see you," he said, "He's outside. Are you going to accept or decline?"
Clearly something I don't want to hear or see.
I sighed exasperatedly, "Let him in."
He nodded and opened the suite's door. Derick's tall figure emerged.
