Capítulo 29: The competition

Lilac's POV

I've tried to hide from Jung Kook for two months already and it was successful. I really don't want to even meet them. I could see that they still could go on with their lives as happy as they could with their new albums and Vlive Run videos and also their live. I could never get into their lives. They are too high up and I could never reach that level of theirs. I could only stan them quietly and support them without them knowing.

"Hello unnie. How are you?" I said.

"I'm fine. How about you? I'm sorry that I could only call you after two months. Luckily you've been

updating me by messenger. Last two weeks I didn't get to use my phone at all because I have this seminar which make all of us give up our phone as we couldn't use it throughout the seminar." Nuna said

"No wonder. I don't get any reply from you. I'm fine here. Just that I'm still doing the 'hiding from Jung Kook' mission. Hehe…" I said.

"You know I think you should tell him the truth about you. I know that you still blame them for what happen two years back but you do know it's not their fault right." Nuna said trying to persuade me.

"But unnie I just couldn't do it. What if he's angry at me for lying to him about me?" I said.

"You can just explain to him everything. I know that it's easier to be said that to be done. But you must muster up your courage. You can't hide from them forever you know. You still have 3 years there. One day you will meet each other." Nuna continue.

"I know unnie. I will try. Maybe give me another one or two weeks. I do know that they deserve to know the truth. But I need time." I said.

"Lilac you know that you had already taken too much time to tell them the truth about you." Nuna continue.

"I know but I just couldn't help it." I said.

"It's ok, Lilac. Unnie is not forcing you but just hoping that you would confess to them faster." Nuna said.

"I know unnie. Thank you for your advice." I said.

After she hung up, I walked hurriedly to the auditorium as the principal have something to announce. When I reached the auditorium, it was jam packed with so many students. I waited patiently for the principal to announce what he wanted to.

"Dear students, as you know we have a modeling competition coming up ahead and this is something we held every year. The winner will be able to pick a date with a girl in our university for one day. But this year we decided to change the rule. This year the winner can date with the girl for two weeks. Who would be the winner and which girl will be the lucky person? We will wait for the competition. Good luck and that's all from me students." The principal said.
