Capítulo 43: Down the Well
Seeing that they had nothing left to do on the peak, Ye Qin and Wang Tao left and headed to their dorm. Arriving home, they had dinner with the others and chatted before going to their rooms. Ye Qin spent the remainder of the night working out before taking a shower and retiring for the night whilst Wang Tao worked out for a bit before reading novels on his smartwatch
While they were working out, the two brothers in their separate rooms noticed that the training was much easier than normal. They could do more reps than they did previously whilst also trying out new methods they couldn't yet do previously
"The effects of the medicine are truly astonishing, to think it would improve our strength by this much. Though the side effect wasn't the greatest…" Ye Qin thought
Suddenly, he heard a familiar sound ring inside his head as he wiped away his sweat with a clean towel

"Looks like I gained something new, all information related to medicine and poison? My meeting with the Peak Master was truly a great thing." Ye Qin thought as he spent some time browsing through the system
The next morning, the two had breakfast before heading to the library. There they skimmed through piles and piles of books on various subjects memorizing all of the content as fast as they could. Those around them looked suspiciously at the two brothers who flipped through pages simply by just holding the spine as the pages flipped over themselves at a fast pace
Those watching thought the two were crazy and thought too highly of themselves. As if it were possible for anyone to know the content of a book just by flipping through pages instantly. Though, this only applied to regular people, with Ye Qin's natural talent and ability to memorize things with a single glance as well as Wang Tao's ability to memorise things after one or two glances as well as their ability to read at great speeds thanks to their experience from watching monsters fight. Reading at this pace is a breeze for the two brothers
The two spent a couple of hours going through hundreds and hundreds of books. Naturally, there was no point in having both of them reading the same book since it was all kept in their head without a single mistake. Once they finished memorizing the content, they placed all of the hundreds of books back on the shelves before heading to the Medicine Peak

When the two arrived, they headed directly to the Peak master's house. The peak master could be seen holding an axe in his hands while chipping away at blocks of wood. The two brothers waited for him to finish chopping the wood for a while
When the peak master finished chopping wood, the two helped him bring the wood inside his house and stacked them up inside the house like a pyramid. The three of them then went outside where the Peak Master told them to sit before giving them some more of the black liquid he had made the previous day
Holding his breath, Ye Qin looked at the black liquid as information began displaying itself before him

"The Peak Master is truly a genius to be able to come up with such a thing. I wonder if he even knows the effects of this?" Ye Qin thought as he swallowed the entire bowl filled with the black liquid
"How is it?" the peak master asked
"Besides the taste and the smell I don't feel any different." Wang Tao answered seriously while holding his chin. The Peak master nodded and muttered the words 'I see'
"Seems like he really doesn't know what it does." Ye Qin thought. Some of the herbs used in the drink were familiar to him since he had read through books in the library earlier as well as when he browsed through the system last night
Some of the herbs required certain conditions to grow or are rare to find. Other herbs were common and easy to plant and grow slowly without much effort. After the two brothers finished the drinks, the Peak master told them to follow him as he began walking down the hill where his students were working
Following behind, the other students greeted the peak master as he walked by them. Some of the students whispered as they saw the two following behind him but ignored it. After walking for a few minutes they arrived at a large field filled with large plants over 2 meters in height
The peak master pushed his way through the tall plants that didn't seem to be damaged even when using force against them. Though after brushing through them, the plants would return to their original positions making the brothers have to push through themselves
After rustling through a large number of plants without knowing where they were or how far they made it, they finally began to see light again as a large open space appeared in front of them. The empty land in front of them is surrounded by the large plants in all directions as though they were used to cover up the empty land
Not only that, the land had a single well made up of bricks as well as wood. The three headed towards the well sitting in the very center of the land and walked up right against it. The peak master touched one of the bricks and waved his hand in a certain motion before removing his hand
Suddenly, the entire well started shaking for a few seconds before returning back to normal. Looking at the well, it looked exactly the same as before, however, strange energy leaked from the very bottom of the well
As the two brothers were wondering what would happen next, the peak master suddenly jumped into the well and fell all the way down without any warning
"What the?" Wang Tao shouted
The two brothers listened and didn't hear the sound of anyone dropping downward. They looked at each other before jumping down in order
Falling down the well, Ye Qin crossed his arms and kept his legs close to his body protecting himself in case of any twigs or the like sticking out. Though he fell for over 30 seconds, his body continued to plummet without making contact with anything besides the air
As he continued falling, Ye Qin relaxed his body and let himself fall down freely as if he were skydiving, after falling down for another minute or so, he began to see traces of light down below. Seeing the light, Ye Qin prepared to brace himself so that he could land
The longer he fell down, the brighter the shining white light revealed itself under the gloomy darkness of the well. As he is about to land, he noticed a large jelly like substance just below himself as he fell directly onto it and bounced off before landing on his two feet
Behind him, Wang Tao dropped his large body onto the jelly and bounced off landing on his butt as he stood up and dusted his pants. "Follow me." a familiar voice reminded them as they looked around the cave filled with bright torches with white flames
The only thing that attracted their attention were the torches with flames of a strange color and the jelly like substance they landed on that had somehow disappeared when they turned around to look for it. Below them, a dry and barren dirt ground with dried up plants seeping through small gaps made sounds as they made their way towards the Peak master's location
Following the torches lead to a large pathway that they couldn't see the end up, naturally they tried looking back above the well where they had jumped down from and couldn't see any light. After walking for a while, they finally saw the Peak Master standing with his arms behind his back like an old scholar as he faced a large field filled with large amounts of incredibly rare herbs that could only be found in the Monster Realm!
The large field in front of them is over 3 hectares each! Such an incredibly huge field was actually hidden underneath the Medicine Peak! According to their knowledge, each of the herbs planted and ready for harvest at any given time are only grown in certain conditions such as being under direct sunlight in the Monster Realm which is over 10 times hotter than Earth!
Other herbs could only be grown under extreme cold that is below absolute zero and could not absorb even a single drop of water or it would instantly die and never grow again being completely wasted. To think that so many plants could actually grow together in a single patch of land. Looking at the soil, Ye Qin realised that the soil is incredibly rich and perfect for growing every kind of plant possible without even needing to attend to them!
This magical soil according to the system is soil from another dimension that is even further away and beyond the Monster Realm that is threatening humanity! It is truly a wonder how the Peak Master managed to get his hands on this soil and to keep it hidden from the eyes of the public
Ye Qin and Wang Tao stood behind the Peak Master who said "This is my pride and joy." as he looked at his field. After admiring the plants for a while, Wang Tao couldn't help but ask "How did you get your hands on…"
"You'll find out in due time." the peak master replied. He then walked down into the fields across to the other side where another wooden house that looked identical to the one above lied flatly with a water wheel rotating next to it
