Her day had started as usual. getting up with the sound of alarm, getting ready at a fast pace so as to be ready by the time the company provided shared cab arrived. This is her week for a day shift which is not usual. she personally prefer night shifts but at least day shift had one advantage, she could speak to her best friend, which was possible only after 9, cause that's when he got free.
Don't know why today of all days I'm getting these flashbacks from five years back. Huh, I shouldn't think of him, but it's not easy to forget such an old and close friend, her alter ego said. But was he ever a friend to begin with, well at least he didn't think so. I should stop thinking of him and should carry on with my work, now that I have a better paid full time job in a reputed company. Priya kept on thinking and also castigating herself for doing so.

As of date she is 25 years of age, a smart and talented officer in a software company. But she isn't a software programmer or a hacker, she works in the sales department of the company. Hey job is to find and convince buyers for that softwares created by the geniuses employed by her company. It's not that she didn't know programming, in fact she had a degree in that field but still she chose to be with the sales team from the start. Her knowledge of software came in handy while convincing the customers. She had started as an executive about five years back n had grown substantially in the time. Now she was heading a team of ten sales executives, had her own cabin and was receiving a salary in seven figures. But despite of everything she couldn't get rid of the screams in her head that said she had failed.
