Capítulo 11: Agreed or disagree
Helen eyes lit up with joy after seeing the Steward. Xuan was more than a steward for Helen, he was like a grandfather to her.
The girls were at the end of the cafe, at a corner, therefore it took Xuan a while to find them.
The place they were seated at was like a little cabin. They were sitting at a two seater sofa, and two chairs were at the front of them. It was 4 seater table.
After Helen had hugged the steward and done her own set of pleasantries' meet and greet.
Athena asked him to take a seat."Hi, Mr Xuan, Would you like to take a seat?"
Soon after the group placed an order, Athena ordered a glass of water for herself; a slice of strawberry cake and a glass of juice for Helen.
Xuan ordered a simple cup of coffee for himself.
Between the three, the only sound that came was of Helen's chattering, whereas the steward's continuous reply.
After their orders were placed and Helen started focusing on her food.
Athena began the serious talk with the Steward.
"I would like you to come back and work at the household. You may disagree, because of me and my mother. I am also pretty sure you don't like me very much."
"Why bother asking if you know the answer. You are right, I don't like you or your mother." Ruthlessly replied Xuan.
Helen had stopped eating and was staring at the pair.
"Focus on your eating." Athena really didn't want to do this with Helen around, but she knew it would be best if Helen was here, otherwise Xuan wouldn't even talk to her.
"I am not going to beat around the bush… Helen's mother was killed by my mother and probably our father was involved." The steward was shocked to learn about this new information. He was in pure rage.
"If my mother could do that, do you think she would not hurt Helen. I don't want you to do anything absurd. We do not have concrete evidence and my father and mother are far more stronger than us three combined. To get accurate evidence and defeat the pair, I would need your help." Finally the steward managed to calm down.
"Why would you go against your mother? You are definitely not scared of your mother and being on your mother's side would be very beneficial for you?" The steward was confused on why would the young girl go against her mother. Her mother would have done all this for the child benefit. Even though her mother was a murder, but her reason were probably for her daughter's better life.
He was now starting to blame the incident on the young girl.
Noticing Xuan's doubt and blaming eyes. "If that lady can murder someone, she can do far lot worse, her reasoning for the murder was not for me, it was for herself and trust me when I say this, she can do worse."
Helen on the other side was on the verge of crying remembering her mother's death, she not at all felt that her mother's death was related to her sister or that her sister was to be blamed.
Helen was always taught that other people's mistakes or decision cannot be blamed on situations or other people.
Noticing that Helen was feeling emotional, Athena started to comfort, the steward started following the 13 year old's move and started comforting the 11 -12 year old girl.
Looking at the time, Athena knew that she had to finish this meeting soon, otherwise the family would get suspicious. "I don't have a lot of time, please give us your decision. If you want to help me or not."
Xuan looked at Helen who was staring at him with pleading eyes. He couldn't deny their request and agreed. " I agree to assist. What is your plan?"
"We have plenty of time to talk about that, we should go now, otherwise our parents will be suspicious." Athena said her gratitude and asked Helen to go first.
"Make sure to tell this to not tell this to anyone and don't make a stupid decision to confront my parent. You might not believe and think this might be a scheme, but I will remind you this is not and I will not do anything to put Helen in danger. It may sound unbelievable, but I do love and care about her. Athena left with the parting, leaving the conflicted butler.
Xuan left after drinking his now cold coffee. He didn't have to pay as Athena had already paid the bill.
At the end of the day, the steward decided to go with his gut feeling and decided to believe and trust a young teenager.

The young girls found their nanny standing outside the cafe.
The girls along with their nanny got in their car and drove home.
They reached home at around 12.45 pm.
