Capítulo 24: Hug
Next day, Elsa was eager to go to college as she couldn't wait to meet him. Both of them got up early and went through their usual - facetime.
Elsa arrived at college way too early as she literally didn't have any work to do. There were only a few people inside class and she began to read her manga collection till her friends or her 'boyfriend' came.
She blushed a little at the tag boyfriend.
' Boy!! Its going to take a while to get used to it.'
After few minutes, she heard Gina coming in and looked up, and that's when she remembered that she forgot to tell Gina. So she told her to come out immediately as she wanted to tell her something.
" I need to tell you something." Elsa said nervously.
" Yeah.. I'm listening" said Gina looked at her curiously.
" Umm... Ray and I started dating yesterday." Elsa said this while her cheeks went red.
Gina smiled ," I knew it... I thought this would happen soon as I have never seen Ray getting close to someone this fast. I knew he liked you but didn't know that it was mutual. Congratulations!!"
Elsa smiled shyly and she told her about keeping it a secret for now and only a few people would know about it.
Gina agreed to that as it wasn't necessary to tell everyone soon," You guys just started dating... It's fine like this .. "
Elsa nodded and said," Lets see how this goes.. " and she looked at the time.
She saw it was nearing to class time and anytime now, Ray would come in... Oops!! my "Boyfriend" would come in, Elsa chuckled thinking.
She hurried Gina inside class and made her sit in her seat as she had to do some work.
Elsa sat in front of her, facing her and talked about how it happened. Soon Adina came in and said, "Hey" and teasingly looked at Elsa.
Elsa just shook her head to tell her to clamp her mouth shut. She was anticipating for Ray to come anytime now and she could feel her heart beating really fast.
She didn't know how to face him and she just kept her eyes on Gina's work. After sometime, Adina called her as someone was looking for her.
Elsa was confused and asked," Who?" but she saw her pointing in one direction and when she looked in that direction.
The first thing she noticed was his happiness in his smile. He was looking at her in a way which made her want to hug him tightly. He waved his hand at her as if to tell her ,' I made you look at me .. See.. it was simple.'
Elsa smacked herself for being naive but couldn't stop smiling at him. He went to his seat but she saw him still staring at her. Elsa blushed deeply while her heart beat faster.
She wanted to go to him but she didn't want anyone to notice and just looked at him . He was smiling brightly, staring at her face with a loving expression.
As Elsa was debating on whether she should go to him or not. Her professor came in for class and everyone quickly took their seats. In between class, when one of her classmates behind her asked a doubt and as she was listening to Gina explaining it. She unknowingly looked in his direction to only find that he was looking at her.
Elsa was startled and she blushed while she raised her eyebrow at him. He shook his head and continued looking at her.
She didn't know what to do so she told him to face front but he just ignored her actions. Elsa was getting nervous at his stares and all she could think was, ' How i wish i could go over and hold his hand.'
Soon three hours went by , it was break time and she was looking forward to her first date with him.
She turned to Gina ," Hey.. Could you keep Adina company during lunch?"
Gina asked ," Sure.. Are you guys going out?"
" Yeah.. It's our first time going out together.. " She excitedly said.
Gina could see her happiness and nodded at her.
Elsa turned to Ray asking him whether they can go to which Ray nodded and stood up from his seat.
Elsa followed Ray shyly as they left college and went to a nearby restaurant.
As soon as they sat , Elsa was nervous and looked at him. She saw Ray sitting and near her and smiling at her.
She asked," Did your friends ask you anything when they heard about you going out?"
Ray laughed and said," Nope.. I made some excuse.. I told Andy about us and what he said made me laugh a lot at him "
Elsa curiously asked ," What?"
He came closer to her and said," He dreamt that I would tell him about us dating."
Elsa laughed and said jokingly ," People have started dreaming about us so soon. " to which Ray chuckled.
He asked ," What do you want to eat?"
She thought for sometime and said " Pasta" which made Ray smile.
She added, " One is enough as the quantity is too much and I wouldn't be able to finish it. "
He nodded and went along with her suggestion. Soon, their order arrived and both were famished as they dug into their food.
As she was eating she told him what Gina said and he just laughed and said," Looks like everyone knew except us. "
Elsa laughed and said," I knew it too .. I was just pretending not to know. "
" Yeah.. right.. " Ray was trying to hold back his smile.
" Whaat.. you don't believe me?!.. " Elsa puffed up her cheeks
" I believe you... " Ray smiled while he thought that she looked so cute with her puffed cheeks.
" Liar... you don't believe me at all.. " She continued saying this but then, she saw him getting up to wash his hands.
" You were trying to make me say it but then i made you spill it out. " Elsa said this when she saw how he didn't believe her.
But then, later realised she just gave herself away. She slowly looked up to see Ray staring at her with a huge smile. ' Damn it..'
Ray sat back down and asked with mock seriousness ," So.. you knew about it and you pretended .. huh? "
Elsa blamed her mouth for uttering the truth while she thought of something to distract him.
But then, she noticed him having a sly look and soon found out why.
Ray said," So .. Don't you think you need to give me some compensation?"
" Huh? What compensation? " Elsa was flabbergasted.
" Well .. you clearly knew how you felt but you didn't tell me . If you had , then we would have started dating earlier. "
As Elsa thought about it , she didn't notice the sly smile on him. As she was about to agree to what he said was true.
She heard him say ," How about a hug ?"
"Huh?" Elsa looked at him ridiculously.
" What? I'm just asking for a hug right... I only want a hug .. " Ray defended himself really fast.
Elsa continued to look at him and then, she noticed his motive .
She didn't know Ray could be so sly and adorable at the same time.. She wanted to hug him too and she was happy that they shared the same feelings.
But , she was just too shy and didn't want to go fast in their relationship. Yes.. she was brave enough to hug him when they were friends but not when they just had their first date..
As she was about to say No... Ray just came closer to her ear and whispered, " I am waiting for your hug and won't leave until I get one baby." and kissed slightly on her earlobe.
Elsa's heart skipped a beat while she looked at him cutely smiling and waiting for it to happen. She just shook her head but had a small smile on her face.
' Well its not like you will feel awkward again and you do really want to hug him .. so i guess its okay ' her heart answered her question as her mind was throwing her warning signals.
She stood up and noticed that the floor they were at was empty except for them. She saw him searching for tissues with his back towards her.
She walked towards him and gave him a side hug as how she did before during the workshop.
Ray froze when he felt her hands around him and but then he said," That's not a hug.. I will teach you how to hug. "
He turned towards her , wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer to him.She heard him say softly, " I don't want to suffer a side hug, like before, when i can get a real one now. " and felt him tightening his hold on her.
Elsa chuckled hearing his words and teased him, "Sounds like someone had complaints on my first hug?"
Ray just expressed his answer by hugging her tightly.Elsa had her face buried in his chest, slowly she raised her hands and embraced him tightly.
Ray was happy by her response and continued to hug her for sometime as he craved for her warmth.
They let go of each other after sometime and Elsa shyly looked around. Her cheeks were flushed and she had a bright smile on her face. Ray looked at her and smiled happily before he said ," Lets go... Its time for class ."
That was when Elsa noticed the time and found out that she only had ten minutes left. They hurried to pay for their lunch and left to college immediately while both of them felt they got closer today.
