Capítulo 4: Ch. 4 - You Sure Are Full of Surprises
As he saw such a miracle occur right before his eyes, he felt as if he was witnessing the act of a god! Xiao Huoyan had actually healed the Blood Demon Wolf, using nothing but a little bit of his own blood! This was something that had never been heard of before, so naturally Jin Long would feel as he did. What Xiao Huoyan had just done was truly unbelievable!
As Jin Long was lost in thoughts, Xiao Huoyan suddenly started to rise up from the ground. He then turned around and saw Jin Long. Upon realising that Jin Long had probably seen everything, Xiao Huoyan's face turned ashen. He looked as if he was about to run away into the forest, but to Jin Long's surprise, Xiao Huoyan did not turn around and run.
Instead of running away, he instead began to walk towards Jin Long. When he then almost reached the outside wall, he did not stop, which made Jin Long instinctively take a step back. As Xiao Huoyan continued to walk, he reached the outside wall, and instead of stopping or simply knocking into the wall as any normal person would, he went right through!
"You actually went right through the wall!", Jin Long exclaimed in surprise.
Seeing such an incredible sight, Jin Long cried out in surprise and misbelief. No matter what cultivation you have, you should not be able to walk through walls without crashing through them! You could break walls and then pass, but not walk through walls leaving them intact without as much as a single scratch!
"What in the world are you?!"
"I-I wish I knew…"

As he spoke about it, Xiao Houyan began to cry.
"I did not want for those people to die, but I could not stop it! I always tried to stop myself, but i failed every single time. Then you came and treated me so nicely, but as soon as you tried to enter my memories I-I…"
"It is okay. I am fine right now, am I not? I just can not understand why you did not kill me, since you clearly had the power to. If you could not control yourself, then why did you stop right before your attack reached me? It makes no sense! And also, how come your spirit essence was the same as mine, but so many times stronger?"
"I do not understand why you are still alive either. I just woke up and saw you laying there beside me. I also do not know why I suddenly stopped in the middle of my attack. But regarding the thing with my spirit essence, I have quite a few--"
Jin Long abruptly cut off in the middle of Xiao Huoyan's sentence as soon as he heard the part about Xiao Huoyan having more than one spirit essence.
"WHAT?!?! How could you possibly have 'quite a few' spirit essences?!"
"Oh, it is simply because I can absorb other people's spirit essence. When I meet someone, I can clearly feel what spirit essence they have, and I can also absorb it if I want too. That is how I have collected many different types of spirit essences."

"Can you transfer your spirit essences to other people?"
Hearing that last question, Xiao Huoyan went silent. He seemed to be a little worried.
"A-are you perhaps one of those people that would want to use me for your own interests?"
He answered with another question, as if he first wanted to confirm it before continuing the discussion.
"Of course not! I do not want you to transfer any of your spirit essences to me, so you can relax."
"What, really?! Not even the part of your spirit essence that I absorbed from you before?!"
"Not even that. I would rather let you have it, since it will be easier to teach you. But that still depends on if you are still willing to come with me."
"Why would I not want to come with you? You are the first person that have ever treated me fairly, ever since my mother died! Of course, I want to come with you! Besides, have I not already accepted you as my master?!"
"That is great then! I know that you are way stronger than me, and from what I have seen yesterday, you seem to have a clear advantage in power. It is just that you are lacking techniques. That is why I want you to come with me, so that I can pass down my techniques to you."
"I would have never thought that you thought about it that much… Thank you!"
As Xiao Huoyan thanked his new master, Jin Long, he once again clasped his fists and respectfully bowed.
"To find a disciple like you, I must have done something very great in my past life! When do you wish for us to set off, my dear disciple?", Jin Long said with a beaming smile on his face.
He was extremely happy for two reasons: one, he actually survived after getting poisoned and attacked, and two, he found such a promising disciple with strength much greater than his own.
"That depends on how long it will take to get there from here, and when we have to be there…"
"Hmm… It should take about 2 days to reach there from here, and we would have to be there within a week at the very most."

"Yes, teacher."
"When we begin traveling, I shall tell you a few rules that you will have to follow."
