Capítulo 53: "Perfect scheme"

Ani Don Sebastian sa sarili.
Right after Sophia learned about Zach's identity, Don Sebastian device a perfect scheme to put his stubborn granddaughter into a dilemma.
"Meldy its time for you to come!"
Anang matanda sa secretary ni Sophia.

"Bring with you the things that I asked, make sure to bring the two files."
"I will sir"
Kinakabahang sagot ni Meldy.
"Don't forget—don't show yourself to any of your colleagues"
"Got it, sir!"
Meldy, had painstakingly worn something peculiar just to disguise herself. She wore a simple white cotton dress and flat shoes, nagmukha tuloy siyang studyante na gagraduate sa elementarya.
Her biggest disappointment is her height, She's not blessed with it.
Don Sebastian's driver drop her in the opposite building.
Pag aari ng mga Accuesta ang mall nato! Anyang sa sarili habang nakakunot noo.
"What are we doing here manong?nagkamali ka siguro—"
"Hindi ho ma'am, dito po instruction ni Don Sebastian. Saka bilin niya po dalhin niyo daw yong pinapadala niya!"

Aniya saka nag paalam dito. She went straight into the lift, nagulat pa sya nang makita si Carl pagkabukas ng elevator.
"Nalipat naba tayo rito?"
"Gaga! Bilisan mo may secret mission pa tayo pagkatapos!"
Excited na hinatak ni Carl si Meldy papasok sa lift. Pagkadating nila sa 3rd floor ng naturang building nakita nilang nakaupo si Don Sebastian sa loob ng opisina.
"Good morning Sir!"
Bati ni Meldy sa dalawang lalaki, tumango lamang ang mga ito.
"Did you bring it?"
"Yes sir—here!" iniabot niya sa matanda ang dalawang files.
"Sit down!" utos ni Don Sebastian sa dalawang empleyado. " After this Meldy bring one of this file and put it in Sophia's office in 15th floor. Do it descreetly!"
Bilin ng matanda sa kanya.
"Edd!" tawag pansin ng matanda sa lalaking nakaupo sa mesa.
"Here's the document, I want you to read it carefully and call me if you decided to

"No need for such gramps!"
"What do you mean?" naguguluhang tanong ng matanda.
"You mean?"
"I trust you—you know how I hate reading!" Zach shuckled.
"But atleast you have to read it, this is very important!"
Nagkibit balikat lamang ang lalaki.
"Anyway,I had nothing to lost, in my part. Just incase Sophia will changed her mind then everything will remain as it is. Except for the things that I told her, the promised that I made for you, still valid!"
Zach smiled, its true that in their situation, siya ang mas dehado. It was a win–win situation for Don Sebastian, whereas for him, he is the one on the losing side.
His grandmother will disinherit him, that's fine! Aniya. Ok lang na mawalan siya ng mana, but what if totohanin ng matanda na itakwil siya? That was quite a different story.
"I am on the lossing side, therefore I need to gamble"
he said after a careful thinking.
"Even if I had a bluff card in my hands, still the winner will be decided if the other one reveals his own card, Am I right, Gramps?"
"You're a business man, indeed!"

"But I'm also holding a bluff card!"
"But how—"
"By any means we have to make sure Sophia has a trump card"
Paliwanag ng matanda, napakunot noo si Zach but then he snapped his finger ng marealized what the old man really meant.
"Loss something to gain something?"
"Exactly—we have to make her think that we are on the lossing side, only then she'll be forced to use her trump card!"
Napatawa si Zach.
"You're quite scary Gramps!"

Saglit na napatitig si Zach sa matanda.

Ani Zach na itinago ang excitement sa kanyang boses.
"I hate to say this but your grandparents— we decided this together, ang plano nila wag ipaalam sa inyo, but I can't do that to you. Its enough for me na kamuhian ako ng aking apo but not you!"
"Then thats better!" Zach smiled "But how are you going to convince Sophia about this?"
"I am not—I'm going to trick her, ako na ang bahala riyan!"
"What if?"
"Then it will be too late for her to realized, kasal na kayo!"
Yes, I'm going to give her a dose of her own medicine! Don Sebastian, thought.
Zach smiled at the old man.
For him, the old man is really a business man.
Later that day, Meldy execute their plan she put the fake folder in Sophia's drawer and put the bouquet of red roses in her flower base.
While si Carl naman sinadya niya talagang inisin si Sophia ng araw nayon, he knew na magagalit ang dalaga sa mga red roses niya.
Isa din iyon sa mga plano nila, to divert her attention at pigilan siyang magpunta sa opisina niya sa 15floor.
So everything was set according to plan kasama na ang kunyari pag back out ng kanilang subcontractor at supplier.
Sophia did not know that Zach was already aware ng puntahan niya ito sa hotel.
