Capítulo 198: The last supper
Feng Jianyu turned his attention back to her, "What does this have to do with my violin?" She looked at him in silence; Jianyu's eyes unwaveringly tried to read her eyes to decipher the meaning behind it. He didn't saw a spec of fun, mischief, naughtiness but a deep and serious pain. Her eyes were trying to tell something to him, but he was unable to read it.
Suddenly he recalled the night they fought, the very same night she walked out from the villa, leaving him alone. That night he played the violin for the first time after a break of seven years, and he saw her crying in pain. A deep heartfelt pain… As if something had triggered the pain.
He also recalled the moment her gaze fell on the violin box, she was dazed and uncomfortable. Her eyes refused to let go of the violin box for a long time. 'Was my violin somehow related to our past? Does it trigger some kind of bad memory? Or is there something in the violin itself?'
