Capítulo 5: Fulfilling Destiny

"Noooo!" Ginny yelled out before she was pulled back.

"Harry Potter is dead!" Voldemort stated to the gathering crowd.

He twirled his wand around and continued "From this day forth, you put your faith in me."

"Accio Sorting Hat!"

The raggedy hat was ripped from Neville Longbottom's hands and landed in Harry's grip before Hagrid dropped him onto the ground in surprise.

"I gave you a hint with the fire before..." Harry muttered under his breath as he stood up and reached into the sorting hat, pulling out the sword.

The calm, gloating visage that reminded Harry of the time Petunia popped too many pain pills disappeared in an instant. Voldemort's face was scrunched up in anger. "Potter!" he spat.

"What's up, Tom?" he ignored him and swung the sword around a bit. This time, he really did need to stall. He was getting used to his newfound strength and it wasn't like he had training with a sword.

Especially when he told DA about his encounter with the Basilisk. They laughed, but it was all bullshit luck, just like the rest of his life. Stick 'em with the pointy end doesn't really translate to slaying Dark Lords.

"Like a cockroach!" he trailed on. "Why? Don't. You. DIE! Avada Kedavra!"

Ting!

The sword stopped the killing curse like it was made to do it. The crowds on both sides were completely silent.

Thankfully, the death eaters behind Harry never decided to attack while his back was turned. Or the students and teachers never attacked Tom while HIS back was turned.

Harry surmised that nonaction like this was the reason why Britain will always have Dark Lords.

Voldemort shuddered as he looked like he was trying to calm himself. Harry assumed he was so used to his 'fear me' theatrics that he didn't know what else to do.

The ambiance halted when Harry threw the Sword of Gryffindor out of nowhere. It was as if time had stilled while each and every eye followed the sword turning over its end until the edge cut into Nagini. The audience then watched it dissolve in front of them.

"And that makes seven!" Harry yelled as he raised his arms into the air. It was totally on purpose and he knew how to throw a sword! (Or it was Potter luck. Inwardly, he was cursing himself as an idiot for throwing it like that, but he was happy it worked.)

"What." Voldemort lowered his wand and spoke with disdain. Disdain, with a hint of fear.

"Well, first was the diary that Lucius sent to Hogwarts, then after the cup, locket, diadem, ring, the accidental one, and the snake. Congrats Tom. You're as mortal as the average human"

And just as Harry expected, the crowd remained silent.

Until Voldemort started firing curses again.

"I'm more than human! I am Lord VOLDEMORT!"

Harry summoned his sword to his hand and parried curses, one after another. AK's came between flesh boilers, bone melters, a uvula strangler, and a myriad of odd curses and hexes that flew at different times to offset Harry's rhythm while rubble was banished from multiple angles. However, with the combination brandishing his sword and banishing curses away with his left hand, Voldemort couldn't hurt him.

The Boy-Who-Lived walked closer to his nemesis. One step at a time as the pale face bastard backed away in fear.

"Avada Kedavra!"

Harry's body tensed as he heard and felt the magic barreling towards him from his back and he dropped to the ground.

The curse flew over his body and hit a Hogwarts student. She instantly stilled and dropped to the ground, dead.

He didn't even know her name or house. She was just another random student. And she was dead. Dead because he was toying with Voldemort.

All Harry had wanted was his own personal satisfaction. He just wanted Voldemort to feel a little fear.

He felt like his entire life meant nothing. Was it too much to ask others to suffer instead of him?

Harry's blood went cold and he sighed. As he got up, he summoned the Elder Wand from Voldemort's grip and cast a silent Levicorpus before sending several overpowered body locking jinxes. He wouldn't be able to use any sort of magic now.

As the Dark Lord hung in the air by his feet, Harry turned his back to him as if he didn't matter.

The silence was deafening.

"Crucio."

Harry's cold voice echoed throughout the courtyard as the audience watched Bellatrix Lestrange twitch on the ground, begging for mercy.

"Pl- please! Milord! Uggh!"

"Avada Kedavra."

The man's killing curse hit Bellatrix and random gasps echoed from all sides.

Harry turned from the still-spasming corpse and stared down at the Dark Lord hanging in the air.

"Was it worth it Tom? Did you find happiness?"

Terror filled, red eyes looked up at him, pleading for mercy.

"Fleet from Death. I won't taunt you anymore, Tom. Goodbye."

Harry transfigured some rubble on the ground into a sheath before sliding the Sword of Gryffindor in it before he raised his left hand and forced his magic to obey him.

A magic circle formed around his forearm and grey mist congealed around his palm. All the bystanders continued to silently watch as Voldemort's body shriveled up to a husk before it crumbled to dust.

Staring silently as the pile of ashes, Harry snapped the fingers in his left hand, forming another magic circle. He continued to stand transfixed as the Phoenix flames danced in the spot, devouring what was left.

Even the most inexperienced witch or wizard knew that those were no ordinary flames. They had the right color, but they glowed too much for simple fire as it swayed. Phoenix flames don't flicker, they wave back and forth.

He looked at his friends.

Hermione was holding tight onto Ron's arm, cowering behind him. She looked like she didn't know who he was. Harry almost broke at the sight.

Ginny was flushed with tears and swaying on her knees.

Neville had an odd look on his face, half of it formed a frown.

George nodded stoically, silently giving his approval.

Luna had tears falling down her face as she gave him a beautiful smile.

Molly looked aghast and terrified as she stammered towards Ginny's side to protect her. She was the only person in the courtyard to move a muscle.

Harry James Potter turned away and walked through the parting throng of death eaters untouched.

A small stone flew from the forest and landed on his chest, only to be captured by an actively transfigured necklace, holding it against the hero's breast.

A black cloak flew from another direction. It wrapped around his shoulders and formed a hood that covered his head. Even though it failed to cover his entire body as it draped behind him, his form became invisible to all the observers.

No one was aware that Harry took to the skies. He drifted with the winds by his newly sprouted wings, deep in thought. He had a few stops to make before he could leave Britain. Better get the emotionally difficult one out of the way first.

He screwed up and pulled a Vegita.

A couple of chapters of angst before someone screws his head back on right.

The combined Deathly Hallows have no special powers, they were already used to make Harry a 'Master of Death Devil.'

The cloak is empowered so it doesn't need to cover his entire body, but it does nothing against Angels/Fallen/Devils/Ect. Mid-Class or higher.

He holds onto the stone but has no plans to use it.
