Across the city, in a secret room at the docks, a group of men sat around a long table. Looking around the table you would have guessed that is was the mob bosses annual meeting. Every Boss from the big mobs were sitting around the table with a buff body guard behind them.
Sitting at the head of the table was a pale, frail looking old man, his hair was as white as snow and the wrinkles on his face and hands showed the effects of aging on his once youthful bones. He sat there with a walking stick with a small cat head on top, wheezing softly with every breath. One seat was empty and that seat was set up for the Boss of the Park family, though this meeting was to discuss the goings on of the Park family.
"I have called you all here to discuss the Park family and the young master of the Park family." wheezed the old man.
"What!" shouted several bosses'.
"There hasn't been anyone close the Boss Park in years! How is there now a young master to the Park family??" Shouted another boss.
The room was filled with skepticism and fury as to the news of a sudden young master in the Park family. The rules of the organization that was created of all the mob bosses was that their would be one boss who led the organization, before the current boss died he would have to name a successor. The current leader of the organization said that the next leader would be from the Park family. The other bosses were fine with that since the Park boss was a single man who had no family, so they figured they could kill him off and take over his organization, thought no one would voice this out loud. Each Boss wanted the title of the boss of the mobs but none were able to obtain it since the start of this organization.
"It has now been confirmed that there is indeed a young master in the Park family. Who is 14 years old, Boss Park had his men collect his son from his mother's home in Roberts, Montana about two weeks ago. His son has been in the residence being re-educated to this life and is being prepared to take over the duties of the Park family so his father can take over his role as the leader of the organization." Announced the guard behind the old man.
The old man was observing the other bosses with indifferent eyes, though he was nearly blind he could clearly see the scheming in the eyes of every member in that room. There was a young boss who kept quiet and did the same as the old man. The old man's lips curved upward just a little but returned to his indifferent appearance. His grandson was surely not too far from the tree, he knew why the Park family was chosen to be the new head of the organization. He grew his family's business to whole new levels while keeping it off the police and FBI radars. That was why Park Boss was the best candidate to take over the organization, plus his grandson and the Park Bosses son could be friends if they were to meet on mutual ground perhaps.
" Boss Mcleod, why has boss Park hid this child from us? There seems to be a violation of rules here, accordance to the rules that everyone agreed to our family trees must be updated to the other's organization, yet we are just now being notified about a fourteen year old boy!" sad a portly man.
"He was unaware, from the surveillance teams that we have in place the mother hid the child from him for the past fourteen years. Apparently, she had made a call to an old friend in the Park family and the friend heard the child in the background talking to his mom about something. Thus he informed his boss about the possibility of him having fathered a child. After Park Boss did some digging what he could find out from his channels was that his ex-girlfriend Jane, had given birth to a child named Parker Park at a Hospital in Billings, Montana. At that point, he called his men to find and retrieve the child and informed the organization of the potential child. After the child was brought to his residence a sample of his DNA was taken and verified to be his child. His name has thus been added to the family tree and verified through the organization. If you wish to doubt the legitimacy of the child, then you are doubting the legitimacy of my authority as the Big Boss of this organization. " The old man spoke softly, yet firmly loud enough for all to hear.
Everyone shared a look between one another then nodded their heads. They would accept this as truth in front of the Big Boss, though their plotting ways still did not stop. The portly man, was thinking of ways to get some spies into the Park bosses home to take them both out. Though like most Bosses, they were particular about the people that come into their homes. That's why no Boss was allowed to come to the others house without prior notice and they were only permitted in certain areas to which they were permitted. It was simply a way of protecting the Bosses family from being schemed against in their own home.
"The Park Young master, will be joining the academy once he is feeling better, however, if I or the Mcleod family find out that someone dares to scheme against my successor or his child. The only thing they will have to worry about will be whether or not their body will be in one piece for a proper funeral. " Threatened Big Boss Mcleod.
The room went silent as the old man's cold unfeeling gaze caressed each Bosses faces, watching as they all slowly broke out in a cold sweat. When his gaze left their face, they started gasping for air, this look was that of the absolute authority that demanded respect. Until this man died, they would have to put their ideas on hold. Once he had looked at every single Boss until the sweat dripped from their forehead he retracted it and sighed exhaustedly.
"There is however the problem that some of the families aren't performing as well as others. Create a business plan for your families businesses and remember to explain how the plan will work and how it will be executed. Some of the families haven't had their businesses doing so well and we need to find out why." Big Boss Mcleod stated.
It was like a teacher giving his students homework to do and to turn in the next morning. Mcleod's words were the law of the organization, all the bosses knew that profit is what helped keep these bosses living the high life. If they weren't making money they would end up losing their spot in the organization leaving them open to more dangers of being taken over by another family organization. Mcleod sat in his chair as he watched the other bosses leave after his last statement. He shook his head tired and weak he was tempted to nap right there. His grandson, Jacobi Mcleod, on the other hand though he rarely spoke would kindly remind him to not sleep in such places. His grandson was a tall, muscular man, he had black hair and blue eyes, very similar to himself in his younger years. Though his grandson is twice as smart, as he was back then. His own son had died and thus his grandson had taken over the Mcleod family businesses at the age of thirteen now, two years later he's still as vigorous as he was when he first started.
Jacobi helped his grandfather up out of the chair and into his wheelchair that was hidden away in another room. He was adamant about helping him get settled before motioning for his bodyguard to wheel him to the suv. Jacobi stood up tall, appearing more like a military man versus a mob boss, though he was more like an English Gentleman of the early 1800's then a military man. Jacobi was curious about this Park families young master and how he was going to measure up to the expectations that he had for him. Though they aren't extremely high, to be able to function as gentleman should at least be the most basic of them. This should be an interesting time at the Academy. With that thought he followed his grandfather and the first bodyguard as his own person bodyguard followed him into the night.
