Capítulo 51: [No Sleep] Regime
In the middle of a seemingly boundless desert, where everywhere you look at is sand and just sand, furious wind was blowing. In the far distance in this desert, there was a massive cloud of violent sand, howling.
Before this sandstorm, a light came out of nowhere and spat out a giant! As the giant landed on the sand, the sand floated and became smoke, covering the giant while the earth below it shook and cracked.
The giant snorted and looked around. His face became irritated, "Urgh!! Who made me come here?!", his voice reverberated through the windy space hoarsely.
He then looked behind, "Did we all get seperated?!", the giant clenched his fist tightly. His face furrowed with anger as the sandstorm that reached the sky covered him.
"ARRGHHH!!!", the giant roared as its eyes glowed red and made the air explode by just using its voice! The sandstorm that was so violent was now following the flow of his tone, the giant's roar echoed and was heard like a volcano, followed by an earthquake. It suddenly became calm above the ground.
He closed his eyes to calm himself down. His hand reach into the pocket on his huge iron belt. The giant took out a piece of stone. It was barely glowing gold. Carved on it was a single horn and the inside was carved faded like the incandescent horn on the giant's forehead.
"That bastard is still very far away! That guy! Whoever he is who could take over my control on the Gate! I will find you and I'll torture you! Argh!", the giant, Gorth, grunted.
Gorth then walked like he knew where he was going. Every step was a mile, and every step he took, his figure itself changes to something smaller and something looked frailer. His figure turned into a human.
Gorth walked onto the endless sand, looking like a normal traveler.

A bandage went around a scraped knee. Dana was not even looking directly at Rin even when he's treating her.
He was like a professional when taking care for a wound since he always injured himself if not everyday before.
Sylvie who was sitting beside Dana on the white bed was also silent. She was feeling a sense of guilt and awkwardness at the same time. Sylvie was no longer comfortable around Dana.
"Done!", Rin exclaimed after he was done taping the bandages.
Dana took and her bag and was about to leave without saying anything but was stopped by Rin when he grabbed her arm, "Hey..", but he didn't know what to say. Is it his fault? Not only Sylvie but he too felt guilt.
Dana glared at him and pulled her arm. Rin had no choice but to let her go and leave his hand hanging.
However, Dana didn't left him but grabbed his hand, the one that was hanging in the air, and pulled him.
"Ah, see you later, Sylvie.", Rin waved his other hand.
Sylvie blushed not because of Rin that was waving at him but she got shy when she saw Dana's cute side and the both of them as a couple.
On their way out from school, Rin couldn't say a word and could only follow Dana: through the busy streets, through the quiet alleys until in front of Dana's house.
Dana didn't utter a single word. She just clenched her hand before releasing Rin's hand and entering her own house just like that.
"…", Rin stared confusedly at the front door as Dana slowly closed it, 'What was that about? I don't understand.
He decided to call her right away when he get home and tried to find what's the problem. Did she hear about what he and Sylvie were talking about and found it upsetting that someone was talking on her back? Or is she jealous???
Rin shook his head thought that may not be possible. He then looked at his palm, "That was such a small and soft warm hand.", he smiled.
"What are you smiling and relaxing like a normal youth would be? Haah, Rin?", Rin looked around but saw nothing and could only hear his master's voice, "Did you forgot that you're going to be the cause of destruction of millions of worlds from now on?"
Rin's mood suddenly plummeted, his face darkened.
"However, all of that can be avoided if you surprise them first. Heheh!", Elihim's voice chuckled.
Rin looked at the air above and listened carefully. He was snapped back into the reality, "Master…"
"Okay, bring all of your attention to my voice as I am going to tell you your workout regime in one breath, okay? This regime is called; The No Sleep Workout."
"Huh? One breath-?", Rin was surprised but before he could ask, Elihim's voice already started;
"At exactly 9 PM, you will go to where your memories will lead you and then always fight in the level 2 in the first week, until you're completely exhausted and let you cheat, do the thing, push yourself higher thyou're limit… you get it?"
"What???", it seemed like Rin didn't get it at all.
"Geez, you're smart. Don't pretend you don't understand that at all. I said that you're going to fight even after you couldn't stand up and could only stop when the sun starts to rise…. Okay, bye!', the voice them faded into nothing.
"Ugh… Master…", Rin's jaw fell off, "I'm going back to the Hidden World this early? Am I going to the… what is it called??", Rin tried to remember but the voice came back: "Yeah, the Colden Cage Arena. The Colden hold it, obvious from its name."
"Huh? Colden?", Rin questioned everything.
"One of the four factions. Seriously, bye!"
"…", Rin gazed far away, "So it's literally no sleep, huh? And that's not even a workout.", he complained but it is not like he could do anything about it.
He just prayed for his wellness to the Omnipotent God.
Capítulo 52: Arrogant Mr. Tong
As soon as he got home, Rin called Dana but even after a few rings, no one answered.
Rin felt devastated. Dana was the one who was always calling or texting him first but now, she didn't even answer his call.
Rin paced to and fro in the living room, pondering hard what happened, what caused it, and how can he fixed it.
The conclusion that he got was that Dana got upset when he left her in the library and he needed to get back to her and treat Dana something and apologize.
Rin's thoughts only stopped when it was interrupted by a growl from his stomach. He looked at the time and almost curse, "Oh sh-! It's already 7:34 pm. What? I've pacing here for two hours already?", when he realized it, he hurriedly prepared his food so that he would not fight with an empty stomach, not that it was necessary but he enjoyed both cooking and food. There's always time for food, he thought…
Afterward, when he was done eating, he washed the dishes first and bathed right after. Rin looked at the mirror and once again, his confidence increased. All his muscles were restricted and it kept improving.
However, he was in another predicament: What clothes would he wear? He noticed before that it was probably that his master was responsible for his clothes not getting rip even after all his movement. Item enhancement, is that a thing? And it would be probably the best if he could cover his face as much as possible.
Rin decided to wear a hoodie and a facemask if he could find one and luckily, he has many hoodies and he found a facemask in the kitchen's cabinet. He didn't know how it gets there but who cares?
Since the facemask he found was white, he went for a white hoodie, it has a koala head printed on it and koala ears on the hood. It was cute but Rin was the one who wore it so the cuteness disappeared.
For the pants with the most durability, he guessed it would be jeans. However, he only found skinny ones. Although it looked good on him, it was hard to move so he just wore a black jogging pants which is pretty nice. For his footwear, well, anything is fine since he thought that he will fight barefoot.
He looked at the time on his phone: it was exactly 8:40 pm. At that moment, his head felt like it snapped in a matter of split seconds and then a new memory emerged.
In that new memory, a road flashed through him with many turns of left and right until a busy street greeted him. He went through and went into a small alley, leading towards tall buildings and there he saw familiar building from the inside.
Rin opened his eyes and whispered, "Colden Cage Arena.", he smirked, "Did I improve? I'm getting excited!", he threw a baseless punch while laughing.
Rin left the house and followed the direction in his memories. He walked his normal pace and at exactly 9:00 pm, he reached the front of the building.
He was on the street filled with crowds and noise but when he entered the building, the noise suddenly disappeared as if it was non-existent. The lady at the counter looked at him with expectancy, and pointed her hand at the elevator to her left and said, "We are expecting you, Mr. Gotha. Please go to the Level room, the elevator will automatically lead you there with this card.", a card appeared in her hand but no out of nowhere, Rin just didn't saw it earlier.
He got closer and the lady handed him the card and pointed the elevator again as she nod.
"Thank you.", Rin nodded and went inside the elevator as soon as it opened when he got in front of it automatically right after. After getting inside, he remembered what Elihim did back then and swiped the card between the buttons.
The elevator didn't immediately follow when he heard someone said, "Stop!"
In front of the lady was a old fat guy who dressed like an aristocrat followed by rough bodyguards.
The old fat guy observed Rin and assumed the status between them, "Wait for me, boy! I am an official of the Colden Institute!", the old fat guy arrogantly yelled at Rin like he was some random guy.
The old fat guy got in Rin's nerves but he still waited for the guy since it wouldn't hurt to do so but he was wrong. The fat guy kept blabbing on how great the Colden Institute is and how the other four factions are just muscle heads, "The Highbound is too wicked to join the tournament! Why won't they understand that!? Such weaklings with a brain of a speck! Tsk!", the fat guy clicked his tongue while he took the card from the lady harshly.
The lady didn't bother as if she was accustomed to this and pointed to the elevator, "Mister Tong, that way please."
The rich old fat guy, Mr. Tong raised his eyebrow. He smacked the counter in front of the lady and shouted, "How many time did you see me here already?! Huh!? You think I'm too stupid to forgot such trivial things like those in the Eye?! I'm an official at the great Colden Institute"
The lady apologized politely even though she was not in the wrong.
Mr. Tong nodded and ignored the lady. Because of that Rin could only looked at Mr. Tong with cold eyes.
Mr. Tong and his two bodyguards went into the elevator with Rin but it was still spacious. He stood beside Rin and observed him again from head to toe and then snorted, "Is this place for kids now?"
Rin obviously heard that and rolled his eyes and saw that Mr. Tong was a short person.
Rin swiped his card again and the elevator processed it, "Is this place for old fat greasy short arrogant guys now?", he said it without holding it back like how Mr. Tong said it.
The composed lady was shocked, she suddenly turned to the elevator as the door closed.
