Capítulo 7: Chapter 5

Yesterday I applied for jobs at 7 different places but none of them contacted me back yet. What the now I am not even qualified enough to do any job? This can't be like this. Even a day is too important to waste. I can't just waste my time here in class I have to search for more jobs. I was not even paying attention to any of the teacher's bull and was busy praying mentally for a break to soon happen. "Yunki? What happened? Are you OK? You seem a bit stressed." Jin hyung asked me while breaking the train of thoughts running through my mind. "Nothing hyung I am just tired." I replied faking a small smile hoping he would buy that. As soon as the classes ended I decided to bunk rest of the day and ran to search for more jobs. For the whole day I was busy giving interviews here and there. At this time I don't even care for what job will I get as I need money no matter what. At 12:30am I went home back completely tired. When I entered I saw Taehyung and Hoseok sitting on couch. I almost forgot about them. What will I say to them? I need to come up with a solid excuse. When they noticed me they looked at me with shocked expression "Suga?" "Hyung?" they both spoke simultaneously and ran towards me. I was looking down at floor avoiding eye contacts with them "Where were you? Huh? You know we all were worried. You ran away somewhere from school without informing any of us and when I called you, you didn't answer. At first we thought that maybe something came up but look at the time you were missing for whole day! We even called your other friends but they all said that you were not there so where were you? Answer me!" Hoseok shouted at me. I was panicking internally didn't know I would be in this situation. "Umm.. Actually... I was with a friend you don't know about. He is my childhood friend." I lied and mentally patted myself for coming up with a good lie this quick. "Oh really? "What's his name? Where does this 'friend' of yours live? And why I have never heard of him before?" Well . "Umm his name? It's.. It's Minshook and he.. He just came here and is currently staying at a..... hotel yes hotel so I went to visit him" I replied trying my best not to sound fake. "You know what Suga hyung? We are friends for a long time and I can easily tell when you are lying. And the fact that you tried to lie made the situation more suspicious" he said crossing his arms while glaring at me. "Hobi let him come inside first look he is looking so tired" Taehyung said while grabbing Hoseok's wrist and then turned towards me. "Yunki hyung have you ate anything? If not there is some leftover in freeze I can serve you if you want" "No I am OK I just want to sleep now." I said still avoiding eye contact. "Fine sleep then but we will speak about this tomorrow morning. And Hobi lets go he is tired now you can talk to him tomorrow too" with that he dragged a groaning Hoseok inside who was still shouting at me until Taehyung pushed him inside his room and went to his own after greeting me a small good night. Well that was close. I went to my room and went straight to sleep not caring to change or shower as my body was sore from walking here ad there.
