Capítulo 7: "Biggest joke of the year"
In the conference hall at the main table Robert was sitting on his leather chair with no expression on his face, his arm was at the armrest and his head resting on his hand, his eyes were closed, he was listening to all those so called board of directors who are eyeing for his chair mocking him from within who can't wait to see him fall but outside only showing their fake concerns but still can't hide their smirks from him.
Mr. Thomas:"Mr Quinn we know its hard on you and you are trying your best but this time our competitor is strong, we know what is happening in the company you can't hide from us you have to give us answer how you'll deal with this situation.."
Mr Xing: "Mr Quinn I agree with Mr Thomas we have invested so much in your company, you can't just sit quietly.. its our efforts you can't take advantage of our money.."
All board members nods as in they agree with everything suddenly a voice echoes in the hall
"Your money.. your efforts.. Hahaha..Taking advantage of your money.. Haha.. What a joke honey...haha.. I can laugh on it for a year.. Haha.. its the biggest joke of the year haha.."
Sam enters the conference hall and sit at the chair which was on the right side of Robert. Robert finally lifts his head after listening to his best buddy voice who's more like his brother . Sam was also the board member, he had 2nd largest shares in the company.
When Robert started his own company after leaving home as they wanted him to join army just like his father, brothers, grandfather and great grandfather but he refused as he never wanted to join army, he wanted to be an business man so they told him to either leave home or join army. They thought after giving these choices he'll definitely join army but he left home taking nothing at the age of 15.
He was the youngest son of strongest Quinn family who has served government army for generations. His family was the respectful family that no one dared to even lift their eyes upon.
Same goes with Sam's family he was the only son of the strong official family. But he doesn't had any pressure to join army as his elder sister joined army and took all responsibility and helped him to lead a carefree life. Quinn's and Oscar's are the two strongest pillars of country that no enemy can break. And that's how through their parents they met.
At that time he started doing jobs and saved money through which he started a small business at the age of 16 and turned it into today's Quinn's empire. But to his surprise when he left home Sam also followed him everywhere, whether doing jobs study he never left him.
He always said that "what am I not allowed to become strong, I know your plan you want to showoff to my parents and say see you became everything by yourself but I got everything in charity from my family. Hmmph.. Your plan will never succeed honey I'll become the best neurosurgeon myself.. Honey you just wait and watch "
When he was starting business everything gone so smoothly whether its site or investment that he started doubting something is wrong. later after Investigating he got to know Sam gave his half money to the site agent and half to the investment, he kept nothing, told him nothing, because of him everything gone so smoothly. When he asked him why he gave all his money to him Sam only replied him saying "as I wanna become rich honey of course its my investment on a good business .. I trust you and in your business plan, I can bet it will make me rich and beside I can't enter medical University till I'm 18 so what's the use of this money for me" Sam was always his best buddy but since that day he became more than his brother. He knew that no matter what happens to him there will be 1 person who will believe him, trust him, understand him, someone who he can trust always is not his family but this carefree person standing right in front of him. No matter what happened Sam never left him, when his own father and mother were scared of his temper avoided him when he was angry Sam never left him. He followed him, waited for him to talk, listened to him, understood him..
"Missed me honey.."Sam winked at Rob.
" I remember you said you were busy. "Rob said without showing any change in his expression but he did relax within after Sam came.
" Honey you don't have to be shy ha" Sam said with a slight Grin on his face, he was trying to lift Robs mood.
Rob knew what this friend of his was trying to do he looks at him with his serious gentle eyes "you didn't have to come, it's no big issue, I'll deal with it. "
After seeing Rob in this helpless state, the person who was always strong as an mountain that no one can move, he can't help but clench his fingers into fist. He knew this time problem was big and Rob is definitely stressed about it and these idiots instead of helping the him are eyeing for his position. He had to come and help him, he knew he wouldn't be of any but still he can't let these idiots take benefit of his brothers years of hard work.
Mr Xing:" Mr Oscar what do u mean by joke? We invested so much in this empire, its our hard work and you are saying we are joking. How can you even say that?"
Thomas knew that Sam is the one who'll take power when they'll kick out Rob. He thought as Sam is new to this field he would definitely don't know how to handle these issues and he can make him his puppet and rule over so he can't afford to to be on his bad side so tries to gain his trust but was Sam an idiot? :" Xing you shouldn't say that we all know that they are friends and it's them who started business of course it's their hard work and efforts for making today's Quinn empire"
Xing got more angry after listening to Thomas words he hits the table with his hand and shouts: " so if they are that much capable why we are sitting here in this meeting? why they are not dealing with the situation and making us lose our money? "
Thomas was well satisfied with Xing's words he says in a worried tone :"Mr Quinn we know you are trying your best but you should give us answers.."
Xing cuts off Thomas words and again shouts: "what answer? he has no way to deal with this or we wouldn't have suffered these losses. Mr Quinn we all think you are not eligible to be the chairman of this group you should resign with your post and let someone else take it who is capable enough "
Sam tries hard to calm his nerves down after seeing how hypocrite people can be then with the smirk on his face says: "Rob should resign fine he'll resign.. Honey you should take a break it's been hard on you OK"
Rob just looks towards Sam with the worried expression he knew that this time Sam is angry and he is trying hard to calm himself down. Sam replies to his worries with a gentle smile then looks coldly towards the rest of the members.
All the board members were quite taken back as they thought it would be hard to make Rob get down from his post but then within they thanked Sam for helping them so they relaxed but next things happened made them realise that they were the biggest idiots.
" according to all of you as Rob can't deal with this situation and because of him we suffered major losses so he should resign right, fine I agree he will resign. So you must have someone in your mind to take over right Tell me? "
Thomas was happy within that his plan was in track so he says with the helpless expression but still can't hide his excitement from Sam :" we are also helpless Mr Oscar we have no choice. According to the company rules you are the 2nd largest shareholder after Mr Quinn and you are also the 1 who started business with Mr Quinn so we all think it should be you who should take over. You don't have to worry about anything I'll help you with everything in the company you'll be able to handle things easily. "
Sam can't help but sneer on his words but still plays along with him :" then I won't be humble Mr Thomas. "
In next half an hour lawyers come with position transfer papers and Rob signs the papers without giving a second thought and gives papers to Sam. Seeing this Sam can't help but ask him" you won't fight back, how can you give me this position so easily, what if I destroy everything I don't know anything about business you know that , you.. "
"There would be no Quinn empire without you why would I mind. Even if I don't sign these papers this empire belongs to you as much as it belongs to me no one can deny that." Rob says with a gentle expression on his face. Seeing this Sam tries hard to suppress his emotions then looks coldly towards the hall.
" So now I'm the chairman of the Quinn's group.. I can take any decision regarding Company and you all of to follow it right?"
Thomas was finally relieved that his plan got successful so he happily says: "of course Mr Oscar we'll obey you. Your words are our command please say what you want"
Sam nods in satisfaction then says: " since it's the case then I'll take my 1st decision as the chairman of the Quinn's empire.." he stands and go behind Rob puts his hand on his shoulder look towards all board members then says with the cold tone "I Samuel Oscar the chairman of Quinn's empire transfer his position and all powers to the vice chairman Mr Robert Quinn and this decision should come in command from right this moment"
Capítulo 8: "Little babies of our mommy and daddy "
Sam's words were like the tight slaps on everyone's faces and they can't even cry after getting them. They were shocked, it was like ground shattered beneath their foots, they can't believe what they just heard especially Thomas who thought his plan was perfect got frozen on his spot. He couldn't believe that it's all real.. he was the new owner of Quinn's empire Sam was his puppet.. it can't happen he must be hallucinating. But he heard every word clearly..
Thomas can't hold back he threw bottle on the floor he was holding and shouted at Sam : "Samuel are you out of your mind what do you think you are doing? You don't know anything about business but still we trusted you, gave you position, we thought we will help you but you are taking advantage of our good will.. Do you think of us as jokes or you think we are fools? How can you give back your position?... and even you have to give it to anyone why you gave it to Robert.. "
Seeing Thomas enraged Sam can't help but laugh at him he said mockingly "I didn't knew Mr Thomas had so much better understanding about himself"
When Thomas saw Sam laughing he got crazy but still he calmed himself down and said "what do you mean by that Samuel? "
"haha of course I meant you are a fool just like you said"
"Samuellll!!!" Thomas shouted and walked in front to punch him but before his punch could land on Sam, Rob caught it and with the cold voice said.
"Since when did the losers like you got the guts to punch the Young master of Oscar family" then he punched Thomas on the face and he fell on the floor with little blood dripping out from the side of his mouth.
During the whole meeting he kept quite listening to these idiots as he doesn't give the damn about them . He knew no matter what the losses were he can make Quinn empire rise again. He don't have to give explanation to these people but how dare they bully Sam that too in front of him.
Seeing the rage and cold gaze upon them from Rob everyone went silent. Everyone knew his temper, once he got mad it means that the devil of death is out of his cage no one can be saved. Everyone got frozen on their spots as they trembled in fear not even dared to lift their head. There was only silence filling the room that felt like the warning of their future deaths. No one dared to even breathe loudly because of the fear of making devil more angry.
Suddenly the door opened and one of his secretary came and whispered something in Rob's ears. He looked at her with the confused expression and followed her immediately but before leaving the room he said" No one is allowed to leave this room, this is not over yet... Sam follow me.. "
Seeing the deathly expression, Sam just swallowed his saliva and followed him. Everyone else stay rooted at their places thinking they are dead now..
" Honey you were so cool just now.. Agh it was so good.. But wait where are we going? did Jack lost? our system got hacked..?.."Sam asked him worriedly.
" Becca is here" Rob said with the gentle expression on his face.
Sam got a little surprised "Little Becca? Why is she here?"
" lunch" Rob said with the gentle smile on his face.
" she came here to do lunch with you.. Agh... I want a daughter too.. my rascal can only bring me lunch when he wants something in exchange from me.. I so wanna steal little becca from you and make her mine.."
Rob stopped on his tracks narrowed his eyes and gave him a cold glance "I dare you try it"
Sam swallowed his saliva and said" haha honey just kidding.. you are really scary.. "Not saying anything Rob followed secretary and Sam behind him.
Inside the programming room
Becca was sitting in the large chair moving her little fingers on keyboard while Mike was on the screen on the right side on video call while on left side was a old man probably in his early 60s "Mr Taylor " and beside him was most probably his secretary.
Old man was raging in fury when his secretary came and told him that someone is trying to hack into company's system but when he saw two kids on his screen he was confused. There was a cute little girl wearing red fluffy dress sitting in the chair moving her little fingers on the keyboard looking like a small bunny. Her blue eyes were enchanting that made old man's anger wane off a little but when she gave him a little smile his anger vanished immediately. Behind her on the screen was a cute little bun who had similar features as this girl, his white skin, round face beautiful features and they had similar blue eyes looking at him with his smiling cute face. Anyone who saw them can tell instantly that he is girls elder brother. After seeing these 2 little kids smiling at him how can he remain angry. old man instantly gave them the gentle smile, afraid of making them scared he tried to say something in his low gentle voice but before he could say anything Mike interrupted him and said in his little voice full of respect.
"We know Grandpa must have so many questions for us but before you ask us anything please give us the honour to introduce ourselves. Our family name goes by the name of Quinn and people call me by the name of Michael and she is my younger sister with the name Rebecca." then they both gave the elder respectful bow and waited for his response.
Elder was quite taken back by what Mike said just now. did he said their family name is Quinn but why the little Prince and Princess of Quinn's empire will call him, so once again he asks them to confirm " Quinn family.. The legendary Quinn family from Asia who has the reputation in army as well as the business field.. Are you.. you are the young Prince and Princess of Mr Robert and Mrs Katherine.. The heir and heiress of the legendary Quinn's empire.. But its not possible why they will call someone like us.. "
Seeing the elder shocked expression Becca says in a calm little voice" Calm down Grandpa you are flattering us but this reputation has nothing to do with us we are just 2 little babies of our mommy daddy. We did call you because we need your help this time. "
Elder took some tablets from the drawer to calm himself down , by every word coming from their mouths he was getting more shocked, he won't be surprised if he got heart attack by these 2 Young kids today . He took some time to sooth his nerves down and 2 little ones waited patiently for him. Then he opened his eyes and looked towards them and asked them in a helpless voice " you want this old man's help? Sigh.. I think you 2 young ones knocked the wrong door but still do tell this grandpa, how can I help you? grandpa will try his best to do everything to fulfil your request"
