I heard footsteps walked toward me. I wiped my eyes to avoid any question."Liv, what are you doing on the ground? " Lia said. She here? "I'm just chilling here. " I said with a smile on my face. "Oh, okay. Nothing? And why would you sit on the floor? "she said. Here we go again! I want to hide it. "It just nothing, Lia. I'm fine. Can we not talk about it?" I said. She is nodded her head and understood me. Maybe went the time have come, I will tell her. "Come on inside, it going to be cold, " she said. She wrapped hand on my shoulder. "Yeah. " I said.
We walked into the house. His father came toward us. I averted my gaze away. I don't want him to look at me. "Lia," her father said. "Your mother and I will going back home," he said. What about Aurora? "Aurora will stay for a couple of months," he said. "What?!" Lia rises her voice." no, absolutely not, father. Just bring along Aurora with you. I can't stand her here and Olive also same as me, " she said.
Her father stares at me with a strong gaze. I swallowed my throat. I know what to do. "It's okay Lia, she's can stay. Raffaele will happy to see her. "I convinced Lia. I let out a smile. "It's nice to meet you, I'm Aurora Moretti, "she said with a smile. "nice to meet you too. " I said and smile back. I excuse myself to my room. "I'm going to my room if you want to something knock my door. " I said. "Okay. "She said. She continued reading some magazine on the table. She was nice after all. She was good for him. I walked into my room and laid myself on the bed. I drifted to napping.
After a few hours, I woke up and open my teary eyes. Even in my sleep, I cried. I wiped it off. I look at the window the sky was dark. Mr.Roberto words really affected me. Do I want to get away from him? "I have slept all along the day. " I murmured. I got up and walked to the bathroom. I heard a knock on my door. Who was that? "Come in. " I said. It's Valentina."Olive, you should have dinner," Vale said and walked into the bathroom. "No, I don't want to eat. My stomach is full. " I said. Actually, I'm full. "But Olive, you get sick if you don't eat all day. "She said and worry. "Don't worry, Vale. It's not I 'm going to starve," I said.
"But Sir will going mad if you don't eat, Olive." she worried. Why would he be worried? "It's okay, Vale. He, not even my boyfriend. He not gonna to be worried. Don't worry. "I said with a smile. "Okay, if you need something to eat called me, "she said."Okay," I said.
She walked out. I pour strawberry scent into the bathtub. I take off my clothes and jumped into the bathtub. My head hurts. And now, I feel relaxed in the tub.
Done with bath. I put on the robe and walked to the closet. I picked the simple shirt and short for my sleepwear. I sat on the couch beside the window and opened the window. I see the sky was dark and the star shining. My tears started to roll down my cheeks. I don't know why I ended up tearing. Does he know that before? His parents don't even like me. Maybe I should stay away from him to avoid falling in love. But I probably have fallen in love with him. I can't sleep for the whole night. Now was 11 pm. Everyone have sleep. My stomach growled. Now I'm hungry. I need food.
I walked out of the room and went downstairs. I peeked the fridge and take a box of milk. I take the glass and pour it. I drink the whole milk. Suddenly, the light was on. I saw Vale walked towards me. What is she doing here? She supposed to sleep. "Olive, what are you doing? " she said and let out a small laugh. She knew that I hungry as hell. "I just checked out the fridge," I said and examined the food in the fridge. Who does that? "Lied, "she said. "You are funny Olive." she laughed. "Yeah, okay..okay honestly I'm hungry," I said and take a peanut butter spread. I spread it on the bread. "I do it for you, "Vale said. "No, nevermind. I do it."I said. "Okay, " she said.
We seat on the bar stool. We talked about our young schooled child back then until late at night. And Aurora walked in. "Do you guys have not to sleep yet? "she said and drink her water. "No, we just chilling here. "I said. "I forgot to ask Lia, when did Raffaele come back? " She asked. Why she want Raffaele too much? That his woman, Olive. Something comes to my brain and say that. "I don't know. "Vale said. I don't know too. "Oh okay. I'm going to sleep. Goodnight. "Aurora said. "Goodnight. "I said. She went upstairs. "When was Sir going to back here?" she asked me. She thinks I knew when he's come back. "I don't know. " I said and averted m eyes down. "Oh, I thought you knew." She said. "we should go to sleep by now, Olive. Lia sleeping now, " she said and let out a small laugh. "yeah." We both walked separated into our room.
I walked into my room and close the door behind. I laid on the bed and tried to forget what Mr.Roberto said. But I can't forget that. I will try to avoid him. But I feel so bad about this. I can do this. I convinced myself. My tears keep rolling down and I fall asleep.
