"You are mine, and I will consume you," said the old snake; it had been barely a few seconds, but a quarter of the blood-red sand had already entered inside me.
My defenses have activated, but they are not doing anything as the red dust tears through everything I have prepared, giving me pain that I have never felt before.
It had taken me a while to think through this fog of pain, and when I looked at the conditions, I couldn't help but get shocked by what I saw.
'No wonder my clones hadn't taken any big action yet,' I thought as I saw how these blood-red dust particles entered every cell of mine, every fractural of my soul and energy, and they were dangerous.
Each particle had a complex formation drawn on it; I did not understand it much, but enough to know if I did something to thwart it, they would explode, and my clones couldn't have the risk that doing.
Creation is hard; cheer me up, and check out my new novel, City of Desire.
