With the swallowing rule advancing, my shields were able to consume all the energies around me pretty fast; it only took me eleven seconds before I revealed myself to Grimm.

"Whew, Grandmaster Tastak, it was quite an attack, for a moment, I thought I might under it," I said as I wiped the sweat off my forehead. 

"You have survived," It said simply, still the shock could be seen filling its eyes. "Yes, I paid a great price for that." "If you attack me with such a powerful attack again, I might not survive," I said and faked a shudder. 

I could see the shock disappearing and anger taking its place and which blazed when my shields disappeared.

It is clearly a taunt, and it understood it as well. Its body literally shook in rage, but it was powerless to do anything.
